For the first time ever we had a grumpy check in agent. I got told off for not having a lock on my bag and she looked seriously put out that we were checking in as a group of 7. Very unusual as I fly regularly with Safair and all the staff have always been super friendly.
Free or minimal cost water available in recyclable cups on board would be very welcome! Everything else was great!
Seats are small. But I guess that will not change on my behalf. Otherwise their service is great.
Loved our Cabin Crew you could tell they enjoyed there job. The Chief Stuart was a delight. What a great way to start our day with such a positive company.

The meal was excellent and well suited to a short journey.
There was no entertainment, but that is not expected on a flight less than 2 1/2 hours. Uber clean aircraft, good boxed meal and friendly flight attendants. Very please with the experience
The check-in line was long and people were put in front of me in the line even after I said I had checked in online. It took me an hour to finally get my documents checked and drop my suitcase. It was horrible!

And if you cannot fit the standard carry on bags, then please say so when people make their booking so that they can pack accordingly and do not bring carry on bags that they have to give up at the last minute. it is impossible to remove items last minute."

No priority for deplaning and tarmac shuttle was given to those with close connecting flight. Had to sprint through airport and barely made connection."

No A/C on the plane - and it was hot. Unmarked aircraft - looked sketchy.
Flight delayed with no explanation was only made aware lats min when already arrived at the air port
Efficient low cost operation.. Gets you from A to B, not much else.

Pros: "A very comfortable flight (with a full plane and in economy). The crew was clear, gave good instructions and were available to help. Even though the flight started bumpy, they will still able to complete service on a short flight."
Cons: "Despite my status with Star Alliance (Gold...the highest), I still was not allowed to take my roller carry on into the plane. There was plenty of space as they were allowing NO one in economy to take a roller carry on. Despite requesting it twice (I was at the end of a long, 3 day journey from the US to Harare) I was denied. This was unnecessary and spiteful to those of us who fly frequently."

Pros: "For one reason or another, my vegetarian meal wasn’t reserved ahead of time. The ground staff and then the crew on board were very helpful to ensure that I had a proper vegetarian meal nonetheless."
Cons: "It was my mother's first time in the States. She had no form of communication with me. I requested wheelchair services for her but the airline never provided. She was hungry, tasty and sat there for almost 12 hours. I was told by the airline, they couldn't provide me with her whereabout. I wasn't sure if she was still in dulles or not. I am going to read the policy that states "airlines are not allow to provide provide passenger's status" ."

Cons: "Terrible entertainment. Unresponsive cabin crew member to fact that the whole right hand aisle of the plane had no overhead lights or entertainment that worked. She merely told people she had rebooted three times and there was nothing else to do. No apology. Headphones were faulty on both outgoing and returning flights."
Pros: "I loved the fact that there was good leg room - it felt more like premium economy to me. The boarding was timely - no delays at all The food options were good and they had other generous items in addition. I enjoyed the flight, the temperature was just right."
