Pros: An incredibly cosy place really close to the European Quarter (where cosy accommodation is very hard to get). Everything has a friendly, colourful and human touch to it while it still remains trendy and clean. The owners are extremely lovely and nothing's ever a problem for them. The room had everything I could possibly need and was very peaceful. The breakfast was always a highlight of my day – beautifully presented, with so many great healthy and not-so-healthy options, combining organic and locally produced goodies with Belgian classics. This was my second time in B&B Place Jourdan and I hope to come back again.

Pros: The property is sweet, has almost everything one would require and is in a relatively quiet area.
Cons: There is no elevator so get ready to climb steep steps! Not good if you are carrying heavy luggage or has a mobility issue. The furniture and appliances need an update as they are very old. A revamp of the kitchen would help.

Good Bed, two pillow sizes, curtains and a window blind so you can decide if you want to be in the dark or not,...
Cons: The door to the staircase is a bit thin for a hotel. As there is only a few guests this is not too much of an issue. This the only issue I found and I am good at criticism...

Pros: The room plus kitchen is huge and clean. The bed is very good.
Cons: The staff does not speak English at all (my French is poor) From Belgians I expect to be able to communicate in English or Dutch They did not inform me about the password of the internet. After returning late in the evening it was too late to bother the staff with this question. By the way, there is nobody at the reception and I did not know who to call. And they would speak French only! The breakfast costed 15 Euro but it is very poor.

4,0 Okay
Pros: Quirky but pretty cool interior design, including nice rustic-looking wooden floor. Ironing board. Kitchen.
Cons: Not really a hotel. Had to wait quite a while for the receptionist even though I had told when I would arrive - and the reception doorbell does not work. Luckily it wasn't pouring down. Bad sound isolation. Noisy between flats. Despite the radiators being on maximum, they did not work - so the flat was cold even for me who never freezes. I actually caught a bad throatache. The espresso machine did not work properly, perhaps due to unsuited capsules. Only lukewarm water in the shower.
6,0 Good
Pros: Nice internal design. Comfortable, and access to EU at walking distance. The free access to the Nespresso machine is a nice touch.
Cons: I was not given, despite my requests, the password for the wifi. It was difficult to get assistance from the staff. The bath tub was not working

Pros: The location.
Cons: The shower's drain did not work, causing it to fill up with water, when it eventually did drain, part of the water flowed all over the bathroom floor. The bed was not properly made, with sheets and blankets all over the place. The staff could have been more helpful when I complained about the shower drain, instead the only answer given was that there were no more rooms available. Poor breakfast for the price.

Pros: The hotel has good location just to the metro station.
Cons: Very small, difficult for finding, tiny, claustrophobic rooms, cold bathroom, with strange smell. No facilities at all. Furniture minimalized . View - to a back yard, not possible to open your curtains. The ashtray at the small balcony was not cleaned for at least a month. No good value for the money charged.
