9,6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet room (as requested); comfortable bed and bedding; piping hot breakfast (on hot plates)
Cons: The shower room was small, however it was modern, nicely tiled and clean. No space to park in the hotel's courtyard, however we found a space in front of the shops over the road (a matter of luck on arrival) and again at midnight, after returning from a birthday party.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel in an excellent location for both the station and the town.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great and couldn’t do enough to help us!
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly greeting and given our room even though we were early. Room was lovely, bed very comfortable. Great fan. Breakfast was really nice. Loved my fresh poached eggs.
Cons: Leaving- no one at reception. I think they were probably busy with breakfast as we left at 9 ish.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, great staff and management, good breakfasts
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, attentive to every detail - from checking in, showing how the keys work, to booking me a taxi and making sure it turned up on time. Breakfast is a continental buffet plus hot food cooked fresh to order. Location super convenient, short walk to train station, town centre, restaurants, etc. Lovely to be upgraded on arrival, huge bed, very comfortable!
Cons: Only small minor detail was that the curtain in the room comes away from the wall a fair bit, and as the window faces the one stop shop with its lights on all night, it does let a fair bit of light into the room at night. An extra blind closer to the window should sort that.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff service
Cons: Shower was tiny and room right next to the road
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is great value, I received an upgrade as it was quiet. It was very clean, friendly staff, welcoming and willing to help, , excellent location. There is a lot you can do nearby, I would definitely stay here again!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, close to narrow boat and Warwick Castle and other tourist attractions. Great breakfast Friendly staff, very accommodating
Cons: Issue with bathroom towel warmer, which is difficult to shut off, which keeps the room too warm. Only issue.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely.
Cons: Bathroom was cold and we couldn't see how to turn radiator on.

Pros: Excellent location. Nice room. Great bar. Nice polite staff. Parking nearby.
Cons: All good.
7,9 Good
Pros: The breakfast menu and food was amazing. Great atmosphere in the pub in the evening and the food was, again, excellent. Very friendly staff. Very impressed that they compensated us for the problems with our room.
Cons: Unfortunately our room (room 7) was above the kitchen and the air conditioning was right outside. It was very noisy until midnight. Also there's was a terrible smell of drains in room. Our friends were more than happy with their room though so I think we just had bad luck.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Really good location
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Toiletries premium, breakfast and coffee delicious... staff friendly and relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Outside seating area needs improving
9,2 Excellent
Pros: There were two highlights at the Globe. The staff and the restaurant...both were excellent and a reason to stay. My wife is a trained chef and we eat pretty well in Europe. I have to say that this was the best wood fired pizza we have seen (and eaten) in England! The staff was kind and attentive. The rooms were priced correctly. They updated the bathrooms and the bed was comfortable. Only negative comments are the room was a little loud and parking was five blocks away at a public lot. The cost was 4 pounds for a 24 hour period. If we were in the area I would book it again.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The place and the staff
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy room (size was good). Super friendly staff, good restaurant, great bar.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Some of the catering staff need a bit of training
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfy, the pizzas fantastic and the breakfast was huge!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and spacious, the location. Was perfect for town, a 30 second stroll around the corner and you're in market square and only a 10 minute stroll from the station and the castle, food is great and the breakfast menu was outstanding, I had a fabulous full English both mornings but the other options for those not so keen on a big breakfast was great
Cons: Nothing really, if I was to be really picky my wife would've preferred a plain croissant available at breakfast rather than a jam filled one however she still enjoyed it, just ate around the jam!!

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome. Ideally placed for the town and castle.
Cons: No where to hang your towels in the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and her son were so incredibly accommodating I can't even begin to tell you. I was travelling alone and I felt safe and looked after by both of them. I was only there one night (I was in Warwick to attend a wedding), and planned to visit Stratford the next day and they not only let me leave my bag behind and kept it safe, they even gave me a lift to the station for me to catch my train home. I didn't ask them to, they are just really nice, helpful people, who will try and help you if they can. I even sat on the sofa watching Colombo with the owner till it was time to leave. I upgraded to a superior room for just another £5. The room was lovely, bright and airy, and super clean. The shower was good and everything worked in there. I had a great sleep. No criticisms whatsoever.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Parking and quiet room
Cons: Sausages let breakfast down

Comfortable beds and breakfast was nice! Very friendly staff, the son did the breakfast and was very helpful!
Cons: Room slightly small but apart from that nothing to fault!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room which had obviously been updated to a high standard on speaking to the owner said it was an ongoing process would be profitable to possibly do something with from of property to increase kerb appeal pots of flower tubs etc but realise that as ongoing this may be part of later plans
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Bathroom had been newly designed. Bright and white.
Cons: To know how to access car park prior to arrival.

Ardencote - Warwick - Building

8,6 Excellent (769 reviews)
R2 308+
Overview Reviews
The Ardencote is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location and outside areas. Easy parking Nice breakfast and staff in brasserie very friendly and helpful
Cons: The reception welcome wasn’t good. Hallways and entrance not v clean. Outside areas lots of cigarette butts and and cups and glasses not cleared. Discovered there was an extra charge to use outdoor pool. Never ever heard of that before. Plus a charge for towelling robe. Seriously a four star hotel??? No fridge in room and air con system in room very poor.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The location is great and the hotel is set in beautiful grounds.
Cons: I was very disappointed to be told by the person at the leisure centre reception that my booking did not allow me to use the outdoor pool or other outside facilities. As she had not asked for my name or room number I wondered how she knew this, on asking I found her quite unable to answer. Although she handed me a towel and locker token, she didn't offer me any directions to the pool, changing rooms or any explanation of the other facilities that were available to me to use in the gym. For the price paid and the star rating, I was expecting a comfortable room. I was very surprized to find that, instead of a glass, the hotel provides a single use plastic beaker wrapped in plastic for use in the bathroom. But, when I found that the bed had been made so that the sheet did not wrap around the head end of the mattress, leaving the mattress exposed (as the mattress cover did not cover the head end either), I was quite shocked. Although the mattress seemed clean, I feel that it is very unhygenic not to make sure that it is protected by a mattress cover and sheet. This isn't what I expect to find in a 4 star rated hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities, great location and great building. First class.
Cons: Nothing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great site, lovely food made for a special weekend. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi was a highlight.
Cons: A little need for updating in certain areas e.g. men’s changing rooms
7,9 Good
Pros: Setting, location,
Cons: Rooms 123 and 124 were very noisy as they were directly above the ground floor toilets. Late at night We could hear regularly, flushing toilets And the hand dryers blowing which kept us awake until the early hours. At the end of the day a good night's sleep has to be paramount when staying at any hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The gardens and lake were beautiful with lots of lovely wildlife. Beautiful facade with lovely view of the lake. It was a delight to swim in the outdoor pool as the weather was very hot.
Cons: It would have been nice if the hot tub and jacuzzi had been working.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in one of the basic room after my brothers wedding, the venue was excellent and the beds are very comfortable.
Cons: No complaints

Pros: A good sized clean room with a comfortable bed.
Cons: The room clearly hadn't been used for a while and required airing, dinner in the brasserie bar was poor.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were very warm and friendly. The hotel was quiet and felt safe. Free parking was great and the host even let us leave the car for a while after checkout. Evening meal in the pub was very good with a good choice and very tasty Tapas. The twin room was a good size, very comfy beds, tea, coffee and kettle in the room, the small en-suite was very clean and warm.
Cons: I would’ve preferred filter coffee/pot of tea at breakfast as opposed to sachets and hot water.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Being able to park so close to the town centre.
Cons: Instant coffee for breakfast.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Tapas served Saturday’s were very good.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Good bed nice towels

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the location is good for visiting the town center, castle etc.,. The breakfast was very good with a range of cereal, toast and cooked English breakfast.
Cons: Rather disappointed after seeing the photo's on the website, the B&B room itself was very tired looking and in need of some TLC, the carpet is stained and skirting board hanging off . The room itself was clean, bed linen, towels etc.,. all lovely but because the room was so tired looking everything just looked a little grubby. Our room was on the front and the road is rather busy so there was a lot of traffic noise and the music/radio from the downstairs bar could be heard upstairs in the room.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The quirkinesses, a lot of character, staff very friendly. Bed comfy, nice towels and a good breakfast. Within easy walking distance to the town and castle
Cons: Stairs very steep and narrow but only to be expected in a very old property, would make sure not to bring a large suitcase as a struggle to go up.

Pros: Location 11mins walk to castle and most historic sites. Rooms/building as per 450+yr building - what we wanted. Rooms clean bathroom modern

Cons: Prices were ridiculous. £24 per day to park your car on the hotel car park. £12.60 for a Jack Daniels and Coke. Breakfast choices were very limited - what was available was good quality but I would expect a better selection for the standard and price.

Cons: Room was a bit too crowded. Almost no photo of the bedrooms in the website.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: All round very good, but the staff were supremely helpful and caring.

Pros: Breakfast was full of choice and had something to please everyone

Cons: A slightly elderly crowd staying at the hotel (think it may have been a coach trip). Rust in the bathtub and in our parents room the drawers hadn't been emptied from previous guests.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and plentiful breakfast, although a bit expensive for children. A reduced tariff for children, who obviously eat much less than adults, would have been appreciated.
Cons: Having to pay the full breakfast price for children who would only have a glass of juice and a bowl of cereal –although that is a very common practice not specific to this hotel. Offering a reduced breakfast tariff for children would make this hotel truly exceptional.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely surroundings
Cons: Prices of drinks
7,0 Good
Pros: Location was beautiful, perfect for exploring the surrounding villages and countryside.
Cons: Decor in rooms and corridors in old building was a bit tired. Age profile of the guests was 70 plus which made for a very quiet bar! That could have been just because it was in September but it felt a bit like an old folk's home!

Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Room not thoroughly cleaned. Bar menu food poor quality, high price. Curtains don't black out the bedroom.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Evening meal was good, breakfast was good
Cons: In the room i could smell the drains, it was in an out building some may say had character I certainly would not, the door security was poor and I even found a slug had come under the door during the night. i have stayed in far better accommodation for less and had good value for money, this one misses the mark considerably.

Pros: Breakfast good choice of items, bed comfortable
Cons: The evening meal menu could be more varied to accommodate a smaller plainer appetite
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A really lovely independent hotel. Very friendly and charming staff, we paid a few pounds more for a superior room (good value) and enjoyed a very good dinner from a fairly limited menu. Breakfast was good, if not sensational. Very nice little swimming pool and sauna+ steam room. The village is delightful, do visit the pleasure grounds behind the beautiful church.
Cons: Nothing, but the redecoration paintwork is a bit haphazard !
7,5 Good
Pros: The facilities were clean, the staff friendly, and the food very acceptable.
Cons: I went to bed but just after midnight there was a terrible smell of sewage in the bathroom that stank out the bedroom. As it was just after midnight, I used the fan and opened the bedroom windows to try and clear the room. I did not sleep much and at 7.30 in the morning I telephoned Reception to make them aware there was a problem. He said I should have phoned in the night and they would have moved me to another room. I didn’t think that was a possibility so just put up with the problem. I really didn’t want to pack up my stuff and move as my daughter and grandson were in the next room.
5,5 Okay
Cons: Lift constantly broke down. Breakfast was basic. Rooms very small.
7,5 Good
Pros: Pool and Gym. Nice staff and nice evening meals
Cons: Needed better range of cold breakfast items. And cream on dessert " fresh wipped cream" was tinned spray cream which is yuk!
6,7 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a pleasant location next to the parish church. It is an imposing building with a spacious car park at the front and, no doubt in former times, exuded an air of grandeur. Two single rooms were booked; one was above a generator, or motor (to cool the cellar, I was told) which was very noisy, necessitating a request to move to another room. This was dealt with efficiently and helpfully. The rooms were clean and comfortable, if a little basic. The bathrooms were clean but the shower in one of the rooms was very weak. Both rooms were exceedingly warm (even with windows open) with no air conditioning, making sleeping very difficult. We did not use the pool or gym but they looked inviting and well equipped.
Cons: We were served lukewarm tea at breakfast and the use of mass produced plastic pots of runny jam and tasteless marmalade is evidence of an inattention to detail. The fabric of the building was severely in need of repair in several places (e.g. rotten windowsills, crumbling plaster and heavily marked paintwork), leaving an overall impression of shabbiness which detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Pros: Good helpful staff
Cons: Very noisey Wedding party
4,6 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Poor customer service, no cold water in bathroom only scalding hot so unable to bath or shower. 21st birthday party going on, no food available, no drink available, and no parking as all the party goers had taken it up and we had to park on a street away from the hotel. Breakfast was cold and when complained nothing was done. Party went on until 1.45 no sleep. Terrible place rude staff no, no no,.

Pros: Very functional and clean, ideal for a quick overnight stay
Cons: A bit tired and in need of updating
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Price, size of room. Surprisingly quiet being so close to motorway.
Cons: Hard to find entrance not realising the break stop was actually the hotel car park! Could not work shower so cold shower to start day. Toilet roll despensers at shoulder on wall. Literally digging into shoulder. Terrible layout.
5,4 Okay
Cons: Trying to find it no signs for direction when at destination the only visual sign need to be lit up
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location was great for Gaydon and Warwick which is why is was in the area.
Cons: Very dated. Room smelt damp. Sofa in corner looked like it belonged in a taxi office rather than a hotel room. TV tiny. Very poor signal which made it hard to watch. Biggest issue was lack of plugs! 1 available in whole room! Thankfully the nice guy on reception leant me a multi socket extension lead! Floorboards are too thin. Could hear EVERYTHING from upstairs! Wouldn’t stay again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Where do I start? Super friendly staff member on reception checked my husband and I in quickly. The room was on the ground floor, ideal for Hubby who has mobility problems. A lovely big room with a very comfy bed, the usual hospitality tray with tea, coffee and sugars/sweeteners and milk. Such great value for the money.
Cons: Only one minor niggle, for me anyway, was that the bath wasn't very deep. I couldn't lay out and have a long soak after my busy day.
7,5 Good
Pros: Easy parking
Cons: Shower over bath
8,3 Excellent
Pros: A bigger room than I was expecting.
Cons: Not a complaint, a comment. Directions on parking could be better. When you follow the signs to parking for cars, keep to the left and park in front of the services, not to the left side which is reserved for disabled and for electric cars. Days In is behind the left hand side of the main services building.

Pros: The manager was helpful.
Cons: The accomodation was very shabby and needed to be updated. The worse thing was the cleanliness. The bin in our room was still full of the previous occupants rubbish and there were stains on the quilt cover. Not what you would expect to see.

Cons: we were left standing outside for 20mins,no answer after ringing bell or calling the given number. Room was dark and dingy, beds uncomfortable and badly made. shower was awful...like standing under a dripping tap!!!! cobwebs hanging from lights etc. no card payment facilities, which I wasn't made aware of till I arrived at the property with my credit card !

Pros: Great central-ish location, I easily walked into the centre of Warwick. Very helpful and friendly staff evening and morning. He helped me find a secure place for my bicycle
Cons: A little tired but it was excellent value for money
7,1 Good
Pros: Paul the manager was very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent for walking to the centre an to Warwick Castle which is why we were there
Cons: The shower was actually in the room and when used was very noisy, we were woken up by the neighbouring guests using theirs
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The Breakfast was marvelous, Paul the receptionist and he was the breakfast cook too his breakfast was to die for, he made my Sister and I hash browns from scratch because we didn't eat Sausage or bacon, his fried eggs where perfect nothing was too much trouble for him. Paul also gave me blow by blow directions to the Guest house and also to Warwick Castle, he as such a good Dry sence of humour. I would definitely say to anyone visiting Warwick Castle, must say here, it's so close to Warwick Castle and so close to Warwick train Station. Paul went over and behond to make my Sister and I feel comfortable his Customer Service was the Best I have experience for a long while and I have stopped at a lot of Hotels, I stayed in the Hilton in June in Brighton Paul's Customer Service was better than there's. I would definitely say there again..

Pros: Historic Hotel in a great location.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It’s a very old building with themed decor, which we were expecting and enjoyed. The bath tub was huge.
Cons: Sooooo many stairs.
7,0 Good
Pros: plenty of things to do around the area and the hotel was of a reasonable standard for the price lots of character in the rooms.
Cons: the dinning room was very chilly and some what under staffed, the stairs to the upper floor are very steep and would defeat anyone unfit or unwell.
7,9 Good
Pros: Close to Warwick castle
5,4 Okay
Pros: Quirkiness of the place
Cons: On arrival we found a BBC unit filming, so half the property was out of bounds including the bar and restraint. Our breakfast did not warrant being paid for as it was pretty poor. There was no wifi on the morning of our departure.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is directly opposite the castle which is likey to be the main reason most people come to warwick, hotel has a lovely theme and overall great value for money and very comfortable rooms
Cons: On check out day the member of staff informed us that it was ok for us to leave our bags while we left to explore the town before picking them up later before we left to go home, however on returning later the hotel door was closed and after calling the number was informed the hotel was not manned on Sundays past 6 pm we almost missed our train if it wasn't for the hotel owners mother who came to our rescue and gave us a lift to the station, the member of staff who originally stated we could leave our bags should of informed us what time they closed the doors this unfortunately put a downer on otherwise a very good hotel experience
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location near warwick castle and town centre excellent Beautiful old timber building with bags of character, but sadly lack of love and investment. Lady on reception when we arrived was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Whole place needs a lot of love. Room was tired with a lack of thought given to furnishings. Dirty bed base, threadbare carpet, leaking toilet. Given wrong times for breakfast, so when we went down we were told it had finished. Finishing breakfast at 9am on a Sunday is stupid! With a little thought and care, this hotel could be a real goldmine
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was good (we chose it because of its proximity to the castle, so we knew that it was where we wanted to be). The building was very old and rather quirky - another reason for our choice. Our room was quite basic but everything was adequate and the shower room was sparkling clean. We hadn't realised that breakfast was included, so that was a nice surprise, and very welcome. The hotel staff were lovely.
Cons: The bar was a disappointment - not cosy or welcoming. It was virtually empty at 9:30 pm. We ordered a beer and a coffee but we were told that the coffee machine wasn't working so we sat in the bar with one beer and it all felt quite gloomy. The hotel receptionist told us that the heating had been switched on upstairs because another guest had complained that their room was cold. We found our own room stiflingly warm! It was difficult to turn down the radiator because there was a fixed cover concealing the valve.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Waiter at breakfast was really helpful couldn't do enough, toilets clean
Cons: Beds not made from previous night not hoovered, less than basic breakfast, shared shower was not cleaned
7,1 Good
Pros: Room was nice and light and clean, booked 3 separate bookings but they made the bookings work together we had different rooms each night and couldn't have made it easier
Cons: No complimentary sundries
5,8 Okay
Pros: Quirky ness of room very small door, location was good
Cons: No one to address for any issues, kitchen closed in evening and staff could not supply milk for room, less than basic breakfast not even continental, uneven floors not marked, no lighting on entering reception

Pros: Excellent hotel and facilities, room above expectations. Very dog friendly could accommodate us without any hassle. Staff excellent. Easy to get to Stratford-upon-Avon.
Cons: Small finishing touches like better towels in spa, bottled water in room, shelf space in bathroom. Garden and grounds need a bit of maintenance.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The food was lovely, especially breakfast. The location was superb. The swimming pool was a good size and clean. Loved the little balcony on our bedroom. Gardens looked great, and well kept. A very relaxing place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Nothing really. But if I was going to be picky our balcony doors could do with a lick of paint, or replaced.

Pros: Getting my refund and going back home
Cons: The staff, their service and no management around to help us
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean
6,7 Good
Pros: The location is great, the facilities are well maintained, and the staff is generally polite and willing to be helpful.
Cons: We had an issue with one of the rooms: the electronic lock was out of battery, and we could not access the room. Which can happen, I suppose. The real problem is that it took the staff one hour to get the master key and open the door. We had a dinner reservation, for which we arrived late: luckily our table was still available. What if we had to catch a plane and our luggage was locked inside? This denotes a lack of organisation at high level. In their defence, we were refunded half of the room cost (following a complain email).

Cons: Nothing
6,7 Good
Pros: The Location was very good, easy walking distance to local buses and places to eat. The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was good albeit rather expensive and 2 cups of tea ordered one evening in the bar cost £5 which was rather 'over the top'.
Cons: Our rooms were only serviced the first day and after that the beds weren't made up, the tea/.coffee provided in the room was not replenished and the bins not emptied. I had to ask for another toilet roll when the one in the loo on arrival was almost running out.

Pros: My room was quiet.
Cons: Shower in my room did not work, went to find someone in the breakfast room and waited 5minutes, in the end went back to the room and came back. Had to use a room opposite which was not convenient. Selection of cereals and breads for breakfast consisted of "cornflakes or weetabix, and only white bread for toast". I booked through a different booking agent to someone else and paid more for a smaller room - this should be taken into consideration if you have paid more you should be given the better room as I see it as poor value for money.

Situated in the peaceful rural village of Honiley, the Mercure Warwick Honiley Court Hotel has a long-standing heritage in the area. Dating back to the 16th century, the hotel was originally built as a farmhouse and even had a spell as a pub called The Boot Inn. Today, the hotel has been thoroughly modernised while still maintaining some of its original features. With close links to the M6, M40 and M42, the hotel is ideal for weddings, conferences, social events and more.
7,9 Good
Pros: Very pleasant and helpful gentleman on reception and during our evening dinner. Very comfortable bed. All other staff extremely helpful. Evening dinner very pleasant.
Cons: Stair access decor looking a bit shabby and carpet leading to room 63 could do with a clean as quite stained, which was a pity as the rest of the hotel is well maintained and fitted out. But these are minor aspects
5,4 Okay
Pros: Good location and pricing. My room was clean and well maintained.
Cons: Whilst the staff were really helpful and pleasant, some of them were not of a standard I would expect of the Mercury brand. Some of the areas had a damp/musty smell. The wall finishes in the lift had been peeled off. The hotel appeared very tired and indeed of refurb. I did not expect this of Mercure. The food was tasteless, the bread stale and warmed up. Overall very poor.

Cons: Your charges - twice as much as a colleague who booked through Expedia for the same room!
6,3 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was in a pleasant setting. The ground floor and reception were welcoming. The breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The very strong smell of disinfectant on the first floor corridor to the bedrooms was off putting. The bathroom of Room 31 was a bit scruffy. The shower screen allowed lots of water to run onto the bathroom floor. The handle to the tap on the sink came off and the bedroom was too hot (for my liking). The fish and chips that I had for the evening meal was bland and poorly cooked.

Pros: Breakfast was goodoverall except the first morning there was no continental as they had a coach party in. It was fine the next morning with everything that you would need. The bed was very comfortable and huge! The staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome and they all loved our dog and made such a fuss of her, she loved it!
Cons: No continental breakfast on first morning
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean and the room was also clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed.
Cons: It’s not a dislike, but it was quicker to use the stairs than the lift, very slow.
6,7 Good
Pros: The location was quiet. The room was good sized with a very large comfy bed.
Cons: The bathroom door didn't fit the opening so it wouldn't shut. It wasn't possible to turn off the tap water when the shower was on. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner. On the first morning there was no running water at all, but, to be fair, a bottle of water was sent up as soon as we contacted reception.
