First the pickup and drop off place was a Hertz rental location and not a Thrifty location. Second this is a location less geared to travelers and more geared to local customers and it is understaffed. Third it is not anywhere near the airport and we could not change the location to the airport which would have Ben more convenient. Finally, we were not offered the opportunity to purchase the fuel program, so had to stop to buy extra gas unnecessarily. All of the above made this rental car experience poor.Reviewed Mar 15 2023

Pros:The car was niceCons:Nickel and dime everything. The pick up line was more then 50 min long with two kids after a long flight and we had prepaid. I get it’s busy, but it was awful.Reviewed May 27 2021

Cons:The Tampa Thrifty rental car line wrapped the entire rental concourse and was 2 hour + wait. They overbook and under staff. We quickly cancelled our reservation with Thrifty and booked quickly with enterprise. Won't go through Thrifty again.Reviewed May 27 2021

Pros:The drop off was easy and the car was exactly as advertised.Cons:I had to wait in line for over an hour to pick up my rental because dollar, thrifty, and hertz were all using only 1 counter with 2 employees to arrange the pickup.Reviewed May 19 2021

Cons:The line was 3 hours long so we chose another car rental company (which took 5 minutes) and cancelled this reservation. The person at our counter said that the line is like that every day.Reviewed May 13 2021

Cons:Rental counter was very under staffed. Had to wait about a 1/2 hour to see a representative in the airport and then over an hour in the parking garage with a lot of people in an unorganized line to get the carReviewed May 11 2021

Pros:Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff and super easy pick up and drop off.Cons:This was an excellent rental however, I purchased the “extra” insurance when I booked the car and was then told that the full insurance was actually another approximate $40 on top of the other costs. I wish this information was available when I booked.Reviewed May 7 2021

Pros:They charged me for an extra day. The guy at check in clearly hated his job, the cars were not in a location that was easily accessed and there was not a car in the space they directed us to. We basically just took a car (with the approval of a manager who happened to be driving by) at random. It was really pretty dirty. They charged us for a toll device when we did not need it. The drop off was also more of a hassle than it needed to be. We have done this kind of thing many times with usually no issues but this was really pretty bad all the way around.Cons:See above.Reviewed May 4 2021

Pros:It was at the airportCons:More agents. The line was crazy long. Took way to much time to get car. Only one agent for quite awhile. Then a second one came. After I got the car, there must have been 25 to 30 people in line. Way understaffedReviewed May 1 2021
