Pros: The hotel is in an amazing, scenic place. The view from my room window was beautiful. The terrace was so peaceful and really allowed me to find the peace i was looking for. The staff were exceptionally friendly and a great help with guidance and/ or recommendations! I would 110% recommend this hotel... it is a 10 minute walk to the main square “Piazzo Del Campo” The room was very clean and spacious! A comfy bed too! Breakfast was lovely and serves from 7-11am downstairs. If you want a relaxing holiday this is exactly the place to stay!

The hotel is very comfortable with generous public sitting areas that give it a spacious feel, also an outside roof terrace with wonderful views. We have stayed in many hotels in Europe within this price range and this has to be one of the best. We would certainly go back

Cons: Had some trouble to keep the shower at the right temperature. The worst for me was the perfume in the hotel - not that the smell was bad in itself, but it was WAY too strong for my sensitive nose and it bothered me while in the room, something more subtle would be best I think!

Good breakfast, we were amused to make our own pancakes :-), friendly staff speaking excellent English. We could leave the car for 3 hours on the hotel parking after the check-out, so we could visit the city without searching for a parking place. 15 minutes walk to the city center. Warmly recommended.

Cons: I was fine I'm an easy Traveller but I must say for the other customers that in my case the bed was not a real double but the single bed united just by the sheets so that makes u sleep on the single bed cause if u go at the center u will create a hole. Don't know in the other rooms. That is about just the room I had. About position I must say that it is true that is perfect if you travel with the car cause you are far enough from the center and parking is included but if you are with the bus or train I must say that from the station is not the best option cause you have to walk a couple km to the hot and then a couple to the center.

Pros: We left Florence and drove here via San Gimignano which is very doable en route to Siena. The property is outside the historic centre which suited our needs with the car and driving is restricted in old town of Siena. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel with many options. We purchased the tickets from reception. Make sure to validate them on boarding the bus. We saw regular ticket inspections with people fined on the spot for violations. We taxied back to the hotel at night. The fares were reasonable. The hotel itself is a little dated but very comfortable. Our room had a little terrace which I’m sure is nice in the summer. Our air conditioning wasn’t working which may have been down to time of year (Oct) but would have liked it none the less as it was still warm. Staff were pleasant and Helpful. Siena itself is beautiful. We were so glad to have visited. More popular restaurants were booked out so try to book them in advance. We were also able to do a day trip by car from our hotel to Montepulciano Val d’Orcia and Montalcino with it’s beautiful walled villages and magical scenery en route.

Cons: 1. The shower pan was dangerously slippery, which explains why the drain cap was broken (people are certainly hitting the cap with their feet due to slippage). I suggest fixing this risk (I.e. replace the shower pan, and not the cap alone) 2. The scrambled eggs were unsavory. When I mentioned this to the staff, they found nothing wrong about them. However, three more people shared the same opinion. Maybe it was degradation from overcooking.

Pros: The restaurant on the site was great with excellent quality and value for money menu. Many local people came to eat at this restaurant. There was a choice of genuine Italian cooking on the menu. The wine list was good with good range of Italian wines including excellent organic ones. The site shop was very well stocked and the advice from the owners and was helpful and friendly. Our limited knowledge of Italian and attempts to speak it were met with patience and good humour. It was simplicity itself to get into Siena from the site as there were bus tickets readily on sale at the site and the bus stop was just a short walk away.

Pros: We really enjoyed the location of the campground and the fresh air: a green oasis that is still close to the city center of Siena. The mobile home we rented was comfortable and clean, and our stay was relaxing. We also appreciated the heaters in each room, which made our stay at the campground comfortable compared to B&Bs and other places that don't have their heating switched on at the end of October. The kitchen in our mobile home had everything we needed.

Cons: There is a lot of humidity inside the mobile home (for example it's difficult for towels to dry), but I assume it's typical of this area. The heaters did help. One can be bothered by noise if one happens to have very loud neighbors, but overall it was fine.

It was the most comfortable hotel of our long week-end (four hotel nights in three places), and had a fabulous shower. The breakfast was wonderful, and the proximity to the Siena historical center was a dream (we did have a car, but I think we could also have walked). It had everything we wanted, including free in-room internet and a place to deposit our car. We would absolutely stay again and will recommend it.
