This was the best Hotel-Experience in a long time! The staff is so friendly, the rooms are beautiful and quiet in a traditional house, the view over Tuscany is amazing and it is just outside of the gates to Siena. Breakfast was really great, too. I wish I could have stayed longer. Absolutely perfect!

The young guy at reception was very welcoming and helpful. He even helped us renting a car. Place is very nice and warm. I bet during summer the views must be very nice. we went on January :(
You need to make sure to tell them you need the parking lot. We didn’t know and left the rented car several blocks far from the hotel. When asked if the parking lot wasn’t included, the older “stylish” guy just “laugh at us” saying it’s not for free at that he would have remembered if we would have booked it cause it cost 15 EUR per night and that’s some good money for them. Perhaps just a mistake from our side, but we make this comment cause we didn’t like the way of his reply and attitude.

Hotel Santa Caterina may have been our favorite hotel of all the places we stayed during our month-long trip in Italy. The variety and quality of breakfast items provided was exceptional. Siena is incredible, and the hotel is perfectly situated just outside of the city walls - providing a tranquil and beautiful setting just a short walk from the heart of Siena. We cannot say enough nice things about the staff - particularly Lucio, who was such a savior to us. He booked winery tours and dinners for us, gave incredible and thoughtful advise. We highly HIGHLY recommend Hotel Santa Caterina.
We enjoyed everything. We have no recommendations for improvement - it was perfect!

This place was great from start to finish. The concierge was very friendly. We were able to stay in a facility just behind the hotel with an excellent view. Slight issue with heating (in Dec) that was immediately corrected by the staff. The rooms and living areas were nice and very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I've had while traveling around Italy and Europe. Definitely recommend for couples and families.
