Pros: The location of the hotel was ideal. Nice and quiet but close to all the interesting sites. Siena does have a few hills so be prepared for some inclines during your walks. So glad we upgraded to the rooms with a view before we left the UK. We were on the 6th floor and waking up to that scenery was just amazing. Also having a drink on the roof terrace whether during the day or at night was just so pleasurable. Breakfast was all you could ask for with a wide selection appealing to all four of us. Staff throughout the hotel were very efficient and friendly at all times.

Cons: I probably didn't do enough reading prior to booking, but I hadn't realized that these rooms were located in an alley around the corner from the lobby, and there was no key or card restricting access to the small hallways with four or five hotel rooms opening out of them. Nobody seemed to have eyes on who was coming or going, and I didn't like that anyone could walk into the hallway off the street. For that reason alone, I'd choose a different hotel next time around. If they added keys to secure to the hallways, it'd be fine, but not having them is a big oversight. They should fix that.

Cons: The hotel is really located in the old city but the window of our room looked to nowhere we saw only a dirty roof in one meter distance, If you go by car you can stop in front of the hotel for unloading then you have to find the paying parking lot in half a kilometer distance and to walk back.

Cons: We thought this would be our splurge hotel on our European vacation, but this was one of the more run down places we visited. The decor is dated (unpainted wood furniture and trim) and the shower was just a shower head on the bathroom wall with a shower curtain wrapped around it. The water from the shower got all over the bathroom floor making using the sink or toilet a messy adventure. We were quite disappointed with the overall value of this hotel.. although the location makes up for some of it.

It had been a hell of a day of travel with me finding out that I couldn't get out of the town til the next morning. The concierge was extraordinary! I apologize that I forget her name. I think it was Cecilia. She took interest in the crazy day that I had and investigated, found out where I was supposed to be going (no one that I asked knew the town that I was supposed to be heading to for a wedding) and called my room shortly after I checked in. She found out where the town was, how far away it was and offered to book a cab (it was very far away). That doesn't even include the view, breakfast, lounge, etc. Great place and even better experience!

Pros: This visit was my second stay at this beautiful hotel. The grounds are stunning. The hotel is small enough to have a relaxed family feel to it. It’s perfectky located, just above Siena out of the heat of the main town but with a bus stop literally at the gate of the property making it so easy to come and go from town. The staff could not be more accommodating or friendly. I’ll be back again next year. This hotel is my “happy place”.

It’s perfectky located, just above Siena out of the heat of the main town but with a bus stop literally at the gate of the property making it so easy to come and go from town. The staff could not be more accommodating or friendly. I’ll be back again next year. This hotel is my “happy place”.

Cons: Everything was fine. If I wanted to be pernickety then it would have to be breakfast. There was no fresh fruit one morning and when I asked for some I was just told it was finished. Other hotels simply brought more out. There was also a poor selection of cereals compared to other hotels. A choice of only two. Plain cornflakes or muesli. No toppings which we got in other hotels.

It was the most comfortable hotel of our long week-end (four hotel nights in three places), and had a fabulous shower. The breakfast was wonderful, and the proximity to the Siena historical center was a dream (we did have a car, but I think we could also have walked). It had everything we wanted, including free in-room internet and a place to deposit our car. We would absolutely stay again and will recommend it.

Cons: The bungalow has air conditioner but it is not included in total price and you need to pay an extra 6 euros per day for using it. The place is about 20 minutes from the train station on foot(which is not good at all,don't try it), if you don't have a car you must use the bus which is very frequent(every 20 mins)so you must pay an extra 3 euros for going to city center and coming back, The check in time is a little bit late ,they start to check in from 16 pm. And the last thing, inside the room there is no soap or shampoo or any kind of cleaning liquids. The bathroom is nice but has a flaw, when u open the hot water it changes frequently it is hot for 10 seconds and becomes cold for 10 seconds and it's kindof hard to manage it.

Pros: The b&b is located 20-30 minutes walking from Siena city center, but right next to a bus stop. It's very close to the gsk facilities, where I needed to go. Room was cleaned everyday, everything was clean, nice and tidy. Staff was very kind and super useful, with great english!

Pros: The hotel is located about 1 km from the center of Siena. The staff welcomed us and showed us a couple of rooms. The room was clean and very comfortable. We were hiking the VIa Francigena so we wanted a place close to the trek. Breakfast was fantastic.

Cons: My room on the ground floor was a bit dark, outside the window there were blinds for privacy (appreciated!) but made the room very dark and not enough lights in the room didn't help, so just ask for a room at the first floor instead ;)

Cons: Far from the town centre (2km+-), but it easy to get bus in & out ,even though to montepulcisno, San Gimignano or Florence , bus stop just outside the hotel

Cons: The bathroom was really outdated and felt dirty. The shower head was dirty and the shower it’s self didn’t empty fast enough so you couldn’t take a long shower or you would flood the bathroom. The radiator in the bathroom was leaking on and off. The topper on the bed has stains on it. The room itself was quite dark and the lights weren’t bright enough.

Cons: Accommodation is located outside of the city center. Room that we had was not good, it had a window with no view to outside. Bed was terrible, you can not sleep on that. Breakfast was minimal even for Italian standards. Toilet was leaking.

Cons: The quadruple room had quite limited space in it and was lacking enough electrical sockets for guests.
