Pros: The hotel is in an amazing, scenic place. The view from my room window was beautiful. The terrace was so peaceful and really allowed me to find the peace i was looking for. The staff were exceptionally friendly and a great help with guidance and/ or recommendations! I would 110% recommend this hotel... it is a 10 minute walk to the main square “Piazzo Del Campo” The room was very clean and spacious! A comfy bed too! Breakfast was lovely and serves from 7-11am downstairs. If you want a relaxing holiday this is exactly the place to stay!

The hotel is very comfortable with generous public sitting areas that give it a spacious feel, also an outside roof terrace with wonderful views. We have stayed in many hotels in Europe within this price range and this has to be one of the best. We would certainly go back

The breakfast was extensive. We were traveling with a car and chose the hotel because it had free parking and was within the town walls. Overall we were happy with the choice.

Cons: The hotel is a bit of a walk to the Duomo...we were traveling with my father who is handicapped (walks) but we were using a wheelchair. It was definitely possible to get to the main sites from the hotel but it was a bit of a chore...additionally, the south side of the city, where the hotel is located, is quite a bit quieter than the part north of the main piazza...I suppose this could be a good or bad thing depending on your perspective.

Cons: There is an elevator, but there is a small step at the entrance so you need to lift your bags to get in. After the front desk, there are two other steps to reach the elevator. I am sure there is an accessible entrance but it's not marked

Cons: Not the best Wi-Fi setup. When you come back to the hotel after being out the Wi-Fi does not automatically reconnect. You have to do it manually. It is sometimes slow to reconnect which was very frustrating.

In light of that, found the room rate extraordinarily high - stupidly expensive breakfast not included, internet charged at an absurd rate, €45 per night for parking, no facilities and a relatively inexciting and small room definitely do not justify the rate.

Pros: I can't speak of the place except in superlatives. Very friendly and efficient staff, especially Barbara who helped me solve a problem I myself had caused. Also, they were kind enough to prepare a special breakfast packet for my 11-hour journey home (I was leaving at an early hour, before the scheduled breakfast time). And a generous breakfast served in a nice looking restaurant. The hotel's location, practically in the center of Siena and very close to the bus station is a real advantage.

Pros: Traveling as a single woman I felt very safe there. The room was very clean, in good condition, and comfortable. The location was easy to get to by the city bus... or a taxi and you can easily walk anywhere. Breakfast was good.

Cons: Had some trouble to keep the shower at the right temperature. The worst for me was the perfume in the hotel - not that the smell was bad in itself, but it was WAY too strong for my sensitive nose and it bothered me while in the room, something more subtle would be best I think!

Cons: Occasional noises coming from the street on Saturday night, but that's the price you pay for the otherwise convenient central location. The other three nights were OK though.

Cons: There was only one hotel staff member that was actually friendly but all of them were helpful. The bathroom was over-all clean but, I don't think they have washed the metal fixtures for a while. Plus, were are dirty hand marks on the ceiling from someone opening the access space.
