Cons: The pool area is in shade most of the day. However the water is slightly heated. We ate at Wee which was disappointing. The food and service were just OK. I ordered Pad Thai. Having just returned from Thailand - this was a poor substitute.

Pros: Great service! The staff was amazing and super helpful! Alex is the best! They were all really accommodating. It's really close to the main metro line and the beach. Like a 2 minute walk to both.
Cons: The beds weren't really very comfortable. I was happy to only being staying one night because of it. This isn't a negative just kind of a bummer but the pool, sauna and gym on the roof top with the views were all closed. They're remodeling until December. But trust me you don't need a pool when you have that incredible beach!

Pros: Clean rooms, good view of Chris the Redeemer, the staff was always on point, and the breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Once you check out and have to wait for your evening flight, it would be nice to have access to internet. The concierge was nice and gave me access but not sure if this is the norm.

Pros: We came early morning, well before check in time and they gave us a room immediately. The hotel is 2 blocks from a beach with food and many other stores nearby. We felt totally safe walking around day or evening.

Cons: Rooms are very outdated and smell like mold, in fact the walls do have mold. Ours had in the entrance and in the bathroom over the sink. Beds and pillows are not comfortable at all, there were no mattress protectors o the mattresses which I found a bit odd. Our toilet stopped working twice during our stay where it just would not flush and we had to notify the front desk on each of those times. The hotel has great potential just needs a lot of TLC.

Pros: Fantastic size of the rooms, great bathroom and incredible view. Swimming pool was great and the view again superb. Great access to the beach with complimentary chairs, umbrella and towels. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast fresh juices were delicious as we're the cakes.

Mosquitos constant in lobby area, where you need to be for wifi. Staff generally aloof, not pleasant or welcoming. Breakfast a chaotic experience - first day better.

Pros: The location worked well for us. We felt safe a few blocks off the main beach
Cons: The Hotel Reception overcharged my credit card by a substantial amount. When I asked and showed them the price on my "Kayak Trips" on my phone they still claimed I was being charged the correct rate. When I accessed my account at their business center, they finally conceded, cancelled the wrong amount, and charged correctly. It was an hour wasted with a man treating me as if I were stupid. The female clerk was helpful. The problem was corrected. Everything else was very good, but the initial dealing with the front desk staff was extremely poor.

Cons: I could hear chairs moving on both sides of my room on my floor level as well as above and below me starting at 6:30 AM!! the noise didn't stop with that! the telephones in the hallway rang at 7AM and I could hear the staff using their walkie-talkies around that time. Pros: Wifi was reliable and breakfast/location were OK - about a 5 minute walk to the beach in a pretty decent and well lit neighborhood.
Cons: For US travelers, this is very reminiscent of the highway motels you may have been to in the early 90s - cable TV on a faded CRT tube TV, weird controls for the lights, noisy wall air conditioning unit that sort-of worked and bathroom that's sketchy in every way possible - with a dripping shower to boot. Staff at checkin wasn't too interested in offering maps, directions, suggestions - felt very awkward having to pry some details out of them and all answers were one or two words. They were quite chatty about offering tours and doing currency exchange. At $250/night this is borderline criminal of an accommodation but they are cashing in on the Olympics.

Cons: Doesn't qualify as a 4 star hotel. I booked two luxury rooms and recieved 1 basic room and another room which was low level. The facilities are old and the room was not 100% clean. Before charging more than 100 dollars per night, they should take a close look at how a real luxury hotel looks like..

Cons: The hotel is really old. There was only a few staff working on each shift so things were really slow when you needed. The house keeper never changed my bedding or the towels... there was no restaurant in the hotel and not sure about dine in room service but I don’t think... the area is also not that nice! Oh and WiFi is bad

Pros: For the value of my money, this was perfect hotel. It was clean, great location ( Copacabana, Metro and restaurants). The staff was polite (Vinnie, Amanda and Rene were remarkable).
