Excellent location right on Copocobaba beach with lovely views from the roof terrace which is a great place for an evening drink. Didn't opt for a room with a view as didn't spend any time there other than to sleep. Hotel undergoing significant refurbishment so smell of paint on some floors but sure that is temporary and not a problem. Buffet breakfast excellent and we were able to access an early breakfast when we needed to on our second morning. No restaurant on site for dinner, limited snacks available on roof terrace, but great restaurant next door.
All minor things Better range of snacks available in evening at the rooftop bar would have been welcome. Paint smell in some corridors as refurbishment progressed. Multiple discrete lifts, we had to ask to navigate our way to the rooftop terrace as needed a different lift. That could be made clearer in room information.
Breakfast was very good, beds were comfy and the location is what made us book the hotel even though it’s a bit expensive.
Staff were friendly and the location was opposite Copacabana beach.
The list is too long, I moved my whole family to another hotel after the first night. We were disgusted by how dirty the apartment was. The room was completely run down and used old school furniture. The bathroom had signs of moss on the walls and shower. The baby’s cot mattress was so dirty we were ashamed we let our baby stay in it, once we had checked. Personally, I’ve never stayed in a worse place even in my days backpacking. The views back on to flats and gave an impression it was dark all day. The hotel still charged me for the first night, which was a joke to be fair.
Location is the best, close to nice restaurants and pubs.
The room was to humid and with lots of mold and mildew in the bathroom .
Location was prime and breakfast options were endless. There was plenty of security on the entrance and your room access card was the only way you can use the elevator so we felt safe.
The property was a bit older then the photos and it was not kept up with. Pool was very dirty and cold. The staff was decent but I was highly dissatisfied with the maids and maintenance staff. We called front desk for someone to work our safe and they never came. We also went 2 days without clean towels. We only received them after we filed a complaint at the desk.
