Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful location

Pros: Being given complimentary champagne for our honeymoon!! The pool, the food, the amazing bar, and the friendly, courteous staff.

Pros: Excellent staff,front desk superb. Rooms are lovely and Santa Teresa is much more interesting than the beach areas eg Ipanema.

Pros: Outstanding staff who went out of their way to help us find great restaurants and make our stay comfortable. All reception and restaurant staff spoke great English. Our deluxe room was absolutely beautiful with a comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom.

Pros: The staff were exceptional - friendly, highly responsive to all requests, fluently multi-lingual.

Pros: The public rooms were very impressive and definitely had the 'wow' factor going on. The terrace and bar were great places to hang out and while away a few hours. I would recommend the hotel for these things alone.

Pros: I felt that the price was very fair for being Rio. The room and everything was very well kept. The staff was friendly, and the hotel is in a good location/proximity to many of the sites in Rio.

Pros: It was located in the center of the city near the cathedral and bus/metro stops. It also had a very good breakfast buffet included with the price. Excellent restaurant 'Salsa' across the street.

Pros: Nise size double room for one person and it was an easy location to reach and then walk in to town.

Pros: It was a pleasure to have staff at Reception that tried their best to speak English as best they could. They were extremely helpful. Raul was the lie of the group!! The Buffet breafast was quite good. A nice selection of fresh fruit which we are not receiving at the present hotel we are staying at in Buenos Aires now. It would be nice to have something other than wieners served with teh scrambled eggs. Perhaps Bacon or Pancakes would be more substatntial. Calgary, Alberta Canada.

Pros: What I liked best was that the reception staff made every effort to help me, especially the one who spent a long time on the phone trying to help me locate my delayed luggage from the airport. He was friendly and polite and I appreciated his help a lot. The rooms and facilities were more than adequate for my needs, and the buffet breakfast choice was great. The price was excellent. I'd definitely stay there again.

Pros: My plan included breakfast. Breakfast was great because I could enjoy various kinds of cheese, ham, bread, and cakes. The room was traditional because of wooden floor and door.
