6,7 Good
Pros: Very clean, friendly staff, good location
Cons: Room very small
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was ideal for Richmond and surrounding areas. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nice touch was the little gifts left for my wife's birthday. Such a lovely surprise.
Cons: Being an old building the floors above our room creaked a fair bit when people where moving around. Rooms were clean apart from the carpet was a little stained and worn but that was it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were wonderful and loved the breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is clean, comfortable and extremely convenient for Richmond and many of its amenities. We have stayed here before and really loved it. We would have no hesitation in booking it again should we be visiting the area.
Cons: We will ask for a quiet room next time we stay, but the noise level wasn't too bad once the window was shut.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to rail, underground and bus networks, shops and attractions.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent location so close to everything
Cons: Furniture in bedrooms is a bit dated but reasonable for the price
7,5 Good
Pros: Amazing location, great value for money. Friendly staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic welcome, excellent breakfast and great place to stay.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was excellent and the room was spotlessly clean
Cons: The shower was pretty hopeless and the bathroom was tiny. The main problem was noise because our room was on the roadside. The secondary double glazing was broken so the traffic noise was unbearable. The lack of car parking was a bit if an issue, especially if you had heavy bags. Double yellow lines outside and no loading bay for drop off.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were great, a nice breakfast service was provided in the dining room.
Cons: Plenty of stairs if you don't want a lot of climbing request a lower floor.

9,5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with plenty of storage and a chair. Excellent breakfast and service.
Cons: Toilet roll holder located too far from the toilet (Atillia). Height of the bedroom door Yale lock and the key was difficult at times to remove. The poor explanation/justification for the credit card £50 .
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great right by the river. The decor inside was lovely and cozy.
Cons: The staff didn’t provide us with info about the hotel on check in and it was only through my own research I knew about it. They seemed not fussed about us being there or not.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely position on the river. Didn't realise we needed to book a parking space We arrived before check in and left our over night bag at reception and was disappointed that it was not taken to our room
Cons: Didn't realise we needed to book a parking space We arrived before check in and left our over night bag at reception and was disappointed that it was not taken to our room Service charge added on drinks so they were quite expensive
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The bed is a great size and very comfy
Cons: To add breakfast it would have been £20 a person
7,5 Good
Pros: Excellent location - handy for town but suitably quiet Lovely outlook across gardens and river. Attractive décor in room and public areas and very clean.
Cons: Restaurant poor value. Breakfast (continental) was overpriced and not well stocked - even relatively early no croissants available and would have been 15 minute delay to acquire more..!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent quality and choice.
Cons: In room internet and digital radio were not working, and television was only partially working.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Amazing position on river, bedroom nice with lovely view. Friendly bar staff. Lovely view from terrace. When we arrived the bar was closed for filming which appeared to take priority over hotel guests even though hotel had been informed day before it was our wedding day! They did however give us some complimentary sparkling wine!
Cons: Reception staff very bored, unsmiling and underwhelming especially as our wedding day! A vacuum cleaner stored outside bedroom door with other laundry items stacked up!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very well decorated, friendly staff and attractive building. Good quality all round.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, my wife had room service and no tray charge!
Cons: Terrible check-out experience we had to wait roughly 40 minutes to pay and leave, there was a queue and only one person at the desk and nobody coming to her assistance.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A perfectly satisfactory place for what we wanted to do in the area.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We went to Kew Gardens for a day trip and the hotel was exceptionally well placed for a visit there. With parking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We couldn't fault this hotel at all. The location is great, it's value for money by London standards and having private and secure parking was a real bonus. Breakfast was good, as were staff. We had a great meal just across the river at the Steam Packet Inn. For anyone visiting Kew Gardens this hotel is perfect. However we also found it really handy for getting into London with rail and tube stations nearby
Cons: It was all good
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms where small, carpet filthy with stains, mould in the shower, bed was so hard, didn’t sleep much
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff, and very good quality meals. Very good value. Adjacent to Elizabeth Gate entrance to Kew Gardens, and conveniently located to central London by tube or rail. We were particularly impressed when within a couple of hours after our departure, we received a phone call from the hotel to say we had left an article behind and that they would post it on. We received the item within a week.
Cons: Breakfast service was a bit slow, but nice to get a freshly cooked breakfast.
7,5 Good
Pros: The position of the hotel was perfect, the food excellent and very comfortable and friendly staff.
Cons: A few late night noises which were annoying.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good rooms, excellent breakfast and pleasant staff. Fresh clean sheets and towels. Free car parking.
Cons: Nothing
7,1 Good
Pros: Good location, tea & coffee making facilities in room and secure underground parking. Pleasant room at a comfortable temperature.
Cons: Tea at breakfast was lukewarm but put right when requested without any problems. Receptionist was unsure about processing credit card payment and the other staff member available was not very helpful to her to resolve so took longer than necessary to check out.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We were return guests at this hotel. The room this time was at the rear and much roomier than our previous visit. It was quiet and has good food in the restaurant. A very good place which served our purpose of being relatively close to Heathrow for catching a flight. Staff were very helpful.
Cons: A bit of a walk to a tube station (900m). Taxi is best for airport transfer. Breakfast choices were a bit limiting in sections. Operation of the TV was a bit of a challenge but staff solved it quickly.

5,8 Okay
Pros: Perfect location for travel in and out of Heathrow Terminal 5

Pros: Great dining room and nice lounge
Cons: Very old fashioned, almost Faulty Towers. Some very old management and outdated practices. Food was quite expensive but very ordinary. Complaints not dealt with adequately.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: We were not informed the hall where our room was located was being decorated
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and building Good little touches and given the quality and location price reasonable.
Cons: 12. 5 % service charge automatically added . Becoming common but don’t agree . Tipping should be linked to service quality. (Which was excellent)
5,4 Okay
Pros: The room we were allocated was in an area being refurbished! No prior warning of this, so were very shocked to arrive at such a beautiful property only to discover on our way to our room the awful surrounds
7,0 Good
Pros: Comfy bed and great location
Cons: Had to upgrade to get a view and the room was a little dated
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is amazing. Extremely friendly atmosphere. Helpful and knowledgable staff. The views are amazing. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Beds were very comfortable and both my wife and I had a good nights sleep. We will definitely be back
Cons: No separate heating controls in the room. Temp was very warm. Slept with balcony door open and with a fan. On saying that I would much rather do that than have a freezing cold room. It certainly wasn’t the end of the world and I’m sure for many guests the room temp was fine. Adjustable heating in rooms would be a fine addition.
7,5 Good
Cons: Smell of food from kitchen in our room. Noisy telephone from neighbor
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was exceeding my expectation!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was upgraded on arrival as the room I’d booked wasn’t ready. My new room was stunning and definitely enjoyed the balcony over looking the river. Lovely location and because of the perfect when staying there we go to enjoy walking along the Thames.
Cons: Nothing - Everything which lovely
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The thoughtfulness of the staff to take the time to show us around the hotel, how changes have been made after last being here 21yrs ago for our Wedding Reception. The additional gesture of Macarons and best wishes for our anniversary was very much appreciated!
Cons: A call I received a couple of days prior to our visit to confirm our booking. Sadly wasn’t very welcoming and left me feeling a bit flat. We went on to have a fabulous stay but it could have put others off?! Customer service is so important.

Pros: Friendly, helpful owners and staff. Tasty breakfast, and fresh coffee served every morning. I recommend the scrambled eggs! There is a great atmosphere in The Dukes Head Inn. Plenty of big screen tv's showing live football, etc. and great banter with the owners Pat and Mairead, and the regulars. I didn't get around to having an evening meal there, but the menu was filled with tempting dishes, and the meals I spotted being served to others, looked, and smelled delicious. Pleasant, comfortable, and quiet rooms meant I slept perfectly throughout each of the four nights that I stayed. I wish I had booked for longer! Will definitely return if I'm lucky enough to find a vacancy at The Dukes Head Inn, when I visit Richmond again in the near future

Pros: Location was excellent literally 5 minutes from the airport. The rooms were a good size and on the return visit we did manage to get adjoining rooms. Nice pool.
Cons: On the first night of our holiday we went to the restaurant. Oh dear! I have never waited so long for what was a below average meal. Some things were cold, some things were under cooked and some things were just missing. The waitress, bless her tried but I could tell that we weren’t the only ones who had a grumble. Suffice to say we didn’t return. I mentioned in the likes box above how nice it was to have the adjoining room. It was just a shame that the lock was broken when we arrived so we couldn’t initially open it. Got fixed eventually.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room with large bathroom , all very clean and well appointed .
Cons: The tv was unwatchable, very dark screen.
4,0 Okay
Cons: The bed was far too small for two people, mattress springs were felt very easily when lying down, not at all comfortable. In fact at 3am I had to open out the sofa bed which was even more uncomfortable but at least had sufficient room for one person. My suggestion is a senior manager and partner actually try a room out one night and see for yourself the comfort level your guests enjoy..
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Super comfortable bed, spacious room and lovely staff. Good location near Richmond station and town centre and great value for money
Cons: The one downside for me was my room was right next to the lift which did make a bit of noise. Luckily I was so tired this didn’t matter, and of all rooms in the hotel this is probably an issue for only 3 of them but if you can request a room away from the lift

Pros: Good staff and lovely food.
Cons: There were 2 workmen in the spa smashing up floor tiles with hammers which was extremely noisy and I injured my foot in a piece of debris so obviously I was not happy about that which is why my review is not good otherwise it would have been very good. Small bathroom with awkward dispensers and handles.

Cons: Nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location , 144 restaurant , friendly and helpful reception staff.
Cons: Cosy double room in the attic!! Very low ceilings so claustrophobic and no wardrobes or drawers which for a two night stay in a four star hotel was not acceptable.
6,7 Good
Pros: The room was small but well designed with comfortable if small bed (standard double) average shower pressure but friendly professional staff.
Cons: Was disappointed by the hidden extra of car parking - just added to bill without warning and could have parked for free elsewhere and seemed an odd way of sneaking in extra charge.

Cons: Hidden parking cost of £10, you can park on the street for free!!

5,1 Okay
Pros: The hotel is well located at the top of Richmond Hill with easy access to Richmond Park for walks, and great views over the River Thames. My trip was to stay over following a company Christmas Party. The party was well organised, the food adequate, and we all had a good time. The hotel was quiet inside. Most hotels I stay in, from about 6am, you can hear doors banging - I didn't hear anything in my room. The room had fast, free Wifi, with no "big brother is watching you" warnings (although I am sure they are monitoring your use of the internet).
Cons: The hotel is expensive - over £100 for a single room with a single bed. My colleague described his room as the "smallest hotel room in the world" and mine was the same. I would estimate the room was no more than 2.1m wide x 3.5m long. The car park is an additional charge (£8 for the night) yet the hotel is not located anywhere near public transport, so a car is mandatory and should be included in the price. The car parking charge is used to deter hotel booking companies - they are clear that, if you book direct, then you don't pay for the parking, but I doubt this is better value than using Kayak. The room temperature was set at 26 degrees, but it was easy to reduce this to 23 degrees with the wall-mounted controller. The bathroom had a single shower cubicle, sink and toilet. There was no towel rail (the towels were on the windowsill). The shower was adequate on maximum temperature. Certainly not hot. On the day of departure, my bill was presented with a cheeky £1 "charity donation" but no mention of which charity. I asked for this to be removed and it was. Maybe the hotel could donate the parking charge to charity? Finally, the hotel would not provide me with a VAT invoice for the room cost as this had been booked through Kayak.

Pros: A beautiful location, clean and tidy.
Cons: Parking costs extra when booking through booking.com

Pros: Everything ... room ✅, restaurant ✅ shuttle to my terminal✅
Cons: The rooms are not very sound proof. I had a VERY drunk, loud, cursing lady in the room opposite me and her noise did keep me awake for about an hour.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean room. VERY polite and helpful desk staff. Nice food offerings. Relatively quiet
Cons: No fridge in the room, no bottled waters left, no toiletries. The number one worst thing about this place was that they offered "free" wifi - but the wifi was not only so slow it couldn't be used for web browsing, it BLOCKED my VPN client so I could not work! That is a bait-and-switch tactic; One of the reasons I booked this place was for free wifi, and then only upon arrival I found I would have to pay extra for it to be use-able? That is deceptive and fraudulent.

7,1 Good
Pros: Clean room, great location.
Cons: We asked for early check-in, knowing it is not guaranteed we called up in the morning to see if the room was ready. We would make alternative arrangements otherwise. The lady answered the phone was very friendly and confirmed our room was ready. But when we turned up, the Asian gentleman was not pleased at all. We told him twice that we did call to confirm before come in, he kept shaking his head as he checked us in...like we were a great inconvenience to him. We actually left earlier than planned. So not great.

Pros: Very helpful young lady on the first night. Gave me a short cut walk to Kew Gardens. The barman was very friendly and chatty
Cons: They ran out of marmalade at breakfast on Tuesday. They weren’t serving food when I got back from a long walk very wet mid afternoon
6,7 Good
Pros: Room very clean and comfy
Cons: Wanted to eat at the hotel but there only seemed to be one member of staff trying to deal with the bar, the restaurant and reception. There was no one to greet me in the restaurant and after waiting 10 minutes I walked into town. Felt very sorry for the member of staff who couldn’t possibly handle all these jobs alone.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Everything thing else was great.
Cons: Bathroom wasn't really clean, first Premier Inn this has ever happened at, not massive problem, just gave it a whip round myself.

Pros: Bed was comfortable and that’s about it.
Cons: Check in took forever; not enough staff. Parking was a nightmare and the room is outdated.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was close to airport. Good when you have early morning flight.
Cons: Hotel doesn't have back up generator. We lost power for over an hour and the hotel stayed in total darkness.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Purely location to T5
Cons: Took 25 mins to find a parking place. Room was dirty. Maid not too helpful when asked for more than one towel for two people.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable
Cons: Green motion car hire
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Ability to use shuttle. Felt safe and liked having food services on premises. Picked the filter which included breakfast for the stay. When confirming inclusive breakfast was required to pay and additional 12 pounds.
Cons: The web site said amenities such as toothbrushes were included so I did not include my own opting to take advantage of this offer. None was available. Also, picked this place because of the in room tea/coffee; but I felt there were limited supplies of sugar, creamer to add to the 3 teabags left for the room. (I had brought my own, but had not planned on opening to box until I reached my destination.) If you are going to be someplace for 12-16 hours, 3 cups can be gone in a matter of a couple of hours, if one learns to drink tea as learned while in the UK.

Pros: n/a
Cons: nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was good. Pillows good. Nice room on 10 th floor.
Cons: No bottled water in my room. Location is bad. No shuttle bus goes to or from terminal 4. It cost £17 one way in taxi and £23 the other. I won’t stay there again.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The reception and dining staff were all very professional, friendly and helpful. The room was quite, had plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was reasonably close to Terminal Three. Plenty of parking at a reasonable cost.
Cons: When checking out I was billed twice for our accommodation. There was a mix up regarding the fact that booking.com had already billed me for accommodation. It was fortunate I realised before I left the hotel and the reception supervisor fixed the problem quickly. I would have hated to have attempted to fix the problem after returning to Australia. When reading the hotel website prior to booking I gained the impression that the shuttle to Terminal Three was included in the cost of staying. It was not until I checked in that I found out that it was an additional 10 pound per person.

Pros: It was equiped with a very nice staff
Cons: no breakfast deal in a quite handsome amount of money
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: We requested non-smoking and breakfast, but it didn't arrange. We waited many time for check-in and check-out.
5,7 Okay
Pros: Plenty of facilities; restaurants, gym, spa and shop. However we chose the hotel for its locationa nd the shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Cons: Thought the internet was poorly priced, i.e. too expensive.
6,8 Good
Pros: Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow.
Cons: Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes, the receptionist made a new reservation, and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!
5,2 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Had to wait for check in, had no record of room with breakfast booked over the internet but found booking was in first name. good job I printer copy to show.
6,0 Good
Pros: Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25
Cons: For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.
6,0 Good
Pros:
Cons: Early check in after a long haul flight was not possible
6,0 Good
Pros: Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow!
Cons: Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.

Pros: Great location, tasty food downstairs in the bar. Room was surprisingly quiet
Cons: Bit of mould on the roof of the bathroom.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The pub was great good food lively helpful staff nice place.
Cons: The room a lot of traffic noise .
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent. Really friendly and really accommodating when I needed a document printed off. We stayed in room 4 which was a big double room. Bed was massive and comfortable. The room was clean and contemporary. Came with tea, biscuits and cereals which are replenished each day. Location was great being a 5 min walk from Richmond station and close to the Main Street.
Cons: We stayed in August 31 and September 1. There was a live band playing downstairs where we were told it would not disturb us. As the rooms are above the pub, we could hear the music to the point where we could even understand the lyrics. This when on till around 11:30pm and 12 so we headed out to get something to eat until around this time.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean good staff
Cons: Smell in bathroom 4
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was perfect for me to get food from town and meet with friends easily. The bed was also very good
Cons: It was not fully clear that the premises was a pub/bar with hotel rooms above, so it perhaps a little noisier than expected but this did not disturb me too much. The room initially had no heating but this was attended to efficiently by staff. The room lighting was also 'like a cave' as lighting was only provided by 3 somewhat dim table lamps but as I only needed to sleep, this was not too much of an issue but may be important to others. I did not sample the lunch or evening food, but it seemed busy at around 7-8pm which suggests it might be reasonable
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Large room Bed was comfortable Ideal stop over
Cons: Nothing Bar was a bit noisy but if you stay in a pub what do you expect. Not too loud to be of concern though
