We had to wait in the Avis lineup at the Salt Lake City airport when picking up the vehicle, even though there wasn't anyone waiting for the Payless representative. It took a long time. There should be a separate Payless line.Reviewed Oct 23 2024

I had a blowout on the freeway shortly after picking up the vehicle. Realized then they had rented me a car with no spare tire and I had to get towed at 10:30 at night. The next day they sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle, but made me get my own ride to the airport to pick up a new rental. They did offer to pay for an Uber, but it was incredibly inconvenient. I had originally been told they would deliver me a new rental, but then they said they didn’t have the staff to do that. It literally took half a day to get all the arrangements in place and pick up the new car. After all that inconvenience, they only refunded me $120 from a two week rental. I will never, never, never, rent from Payless again.Reviewed Jun 23 2021
