Pros: We had a late check-in and a car to park, the lateness of the hour made no difference and we received a excellent service, friendly, efficient, no fuss ,no problems. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. The breakfast is excellent, the best we've had on our travels! The morning coffee served to your choice and is excellent, there is a cooked breakfast, a continental breakfast, cakes, biscuits, flans and fresh fruit, all top drawer and excellent.

Pros: Perfect for the first two night stay in Palermo before our tour started. Hotel arranged airport transfer for us, friendly welcome at late check in, spacious room and bathroom, big comfy bed. A lot of sweet dishes/cakes on offer for breakfast but was happy with the good coffee and tasty hot egg/sausage option. Quick walk to Teatro Massimo which appears to be the central hub of the city.

Pros: Loved the friendly and welcoming service, the location was spectacular, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is great. We were welcomed early and invited to a variety of breakfast items in a stylish area while we waited for our room to be ready, the friendly and helpful concierge booked us an incredible dinner at a local restaurant to celebrate our last stop on our honeymoon, and even packed us breakfast when we had to leave for an early flight. Incredibly welcoming and exceptionally good value. Highly recommended.

Once we realized our error, requested refund, they said no so then we we said it was our room and we may come back. They later texted that we made them lose a customer because we didn't go back....so they wanted to be paid for the room twice.

Cons: the hotel is in desperate need of an update. everything needs to be renovated. the classic rooms are falling apart, the paint, the bathroom, the door, the a/c, the decor. the superior is slightly better but there was water damage on the walls, scuff marks all over the wooden flooring, mildew on the mirrors and there was black mold all over the bathtub and shower. there is also smoking in the hotel which is a drawback. some of the front desk needs real hotel management training. the food in the restaurant is mediocre.

At check in, requested asked staff to arrange tour guide for city walking tour and tour of Monreale, but was met the following morning by an expensive driver. Only found out one hour into the “tour”that he was not a tour guide and wanted to just drop us off at sites.

Pros: Beautiful big room with an extremely comfortable bed. The a/c was a welcome relief from the heat of Palermo. Location was brilliant, a small walk from the main stretch leading into the centre. Onsite parking was brilliant, there is also parking available around. The staff were friendly and very accomodating, going the extra mile to make us feel comfortable during our stay.

Cons: The hardest bed ever slept on... The most worn out and thin pillows, even if we got 2 per person... In booking.com the hotel looks bright and fresh but it is not. It has seen its good times some 20 years ago... Elevators, windows or a fridge in the room: its infrastructure should have been changed some 10 years ago... Nescafe instant powder coffee or powder milk for breakfast cappuccino is below any expectations for Italy...

Pros: The breakfast didn’t change from day to day. There was no variety and for holidaymakers who spend more than 3 days there, this can be boring. I ended up skipping it even though I’d paid for it. The head waiter looked like he was busy but did not raise a smile. He only gave extra attention to the young blonde on the pool terrace haha. Staff could do with more training on how to greet guests and even a smile is good enough!

Cons: My one week stay was ruined by Poor WiFi in our room. We had to go down to the reception area to get connected. When we asked to have our room changed they told us it would not make any difference as it was bad in all the rooms. I am very disappointed that this appalling service is considered acceptable in an NH HOTEL. Breakfast disorganized.

Cons: The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The safe in the room didn't work. the shower head wasn't fixed which meant that it flooded the bathroom and soaked the other towels as well as the toilet roll when not held. When reported to reception we were informed on our return that it was all fixed. It wasn't. the safe still wasn't repaired/replaced when we left. The staff were rude and very unobliging. The waiters were unhelpful and the service was appalling. The breakfast was the worst that we had experienced in nearly 50 years of travelling in Europe. We waited 15 minutes for the barman to appear at the hotel bar and he then proceeded to serve the person he came in with before all those already waiting. The area around the hotel is a pigsty with litter and general filth on every street. Would advise giving this place a very wide berth.

Cons: Location is fairly close to sites but very dirty neighborhood. Trash and graffiti all over much of Palermo including area near the hotel. However, we did not feel threatened in the dark.
