Simple drop apart from no petrol station near the airport.Cons:
Booked a VW Golf, then we were asked if we wanted the Golf to pay an extra premium for it. Ended up with a Dacia Sandero. Awful car to drive. Wanted a car we were used to handling in a foreign country. the car handled poorly and was very clunky.GREEN MOTION

Cons:
subject: Contract no. 72967895 o. Complain To whom it may concern: I made an reservation with #43733087us6 for 3 days for the amount the of $75 on a small car (reservation is attached) . Upon our arrival Budget agent: " do you want to upgrade the car". we replied: No. we have already booked 4 door Citroen according to our reservation. Budget agent: " No. you have 2 door car with manual transmission. and if you want to upgrade must pay 8Euro per day". and she insiste. we had to accepted. Because, at that time I had no other option. so we by force agreed to upgrade the car to a 4 door small car for 8 euro per day extra. Budget agent: also convinced us to get extra insurance to cover our 1000 euro deductible for total of 28 euro for 3 days. we asked her: then how much would be the total. Budget agent: 65 euro(3 days rent incl. tax) + 24 euro(car upgrade) + 28 euro(ins. coverage for 1000 euro deductible) = 117 euro with tax around 130 euro she said. On Jan 18th before we returning the car we fill up the car with gas. But, at the returning point the budget agent said; According to our calculation 5 more liter gas must be added into your bill. we were very surprised by the final bill of euro 278.49 and he told us to go to the office inside the terminal. so we went in and there was a Budget agent who did not know anything about the contract and even a conversion of the currency from Dollar to euro and said that he must investigate and will let us know soon. no news until now, It is very clear in our contract which is attached , please be inform that i am not approving any charges to my citi bank card until we settle the matter. The car was clean, and new.Cons:
Very poor communication, as to a few users on here, i signed up thinking i was going to pay $200 for a week with a car and insurance from Allianz, but that was sadly not the case. Once i arrived, i was greeted with $300 of additional fees, Including VAT, city tax (which the rental said was already paid for when i checked out), and also a destination fee given i was not returning at the same spot, ($65). None of this was mentioned when i booked the car! To top it off, they had the nerve to give me a car with 3/4 of a tank (marked full) and have you agree to the policy of $65 to fill up the tank at the end of the rental if it is not exactly full. Ridiculous. Then Avis recommended we purchase an additional $40/day of insurance to ensure our deductible ($1000) is not put into jeopardy if we get into an accident. Just insane. SO in summary, i got a car with 3/4 tank of gas (marked full). Was supposed to pay $200 with insurance taxes fees for 5 days, ended up paying $600+. STAY AWAY!! SCAM!!4,0 Mediocre
