Match Your Expectations With E-Z Low PricesPros:Price - lowest I could find anywhere online.Cons:Interior Condition was as expected (clean/good) but Exterior condition of vehicle we rented was the worst I ever rented anywhere from any car rental company. Would suggest that any E-Z Rent-A-Car customer at Boston Airport VERY closely inspect their vehicle for dents, scratches, etc. PRIOR to checking it out. Many car rental companies will offer free upgrade if vehicle selected (Jeep SUV) was not available - not E-Z but they did provide same class/similar. Also, no "wiggle room" for early pickup -we arrived about an hour earlier than scheduled pickup and had to pay $34 for additional time. Finally, I was never asked "are you familiar with this particular vehicle?" (common I think to most rental companies) - it would have been nice to know 3 clicks of lock button are required to LOCK vehicle and if manual shift mode is engaged, pull right shift paddle and HOLD to disengage.Reviewed Jul 17 2016

Good overallPros:This was a first time renting with EZ. The car was clean. The desk agent was great. Very personable.Cons:I was downgraded to a smaller car because they did not have the size I reserved. They gave a corresponding price adjustment, but slightly disappointing. Agents in the garage were not super helpful. They assumed a lot of knowledge I did not have, having never rented from EZ or in Boston.Reviewed Oct 26 2016

Pros:Unfortunately, there was no chance for me to like anything as E-Z did not have my reservation on file. I spent over an hour at the counter looking to see if the order was wrongfully placed for a different day, if it was set for a different pickup location, or if the rental company had been changed (I individually checked with Alamo, Advantage, Hertz, Enterprise, and more) to unfortunately find out there no company had my reservation on file. By the time the entire ordeal was done, and the option was to reserve a new car, we were so late that we decided to completely change plans and not rent a car for the day. This put extreme stress on myself with family visiting town and I am incredibly frustrated with this experience. Terrible experience!!! Charged late fee due to Advantages cheap signsPros:NothingCons:Hi I recently used Advantage rental for the first time and found I had a lot of difficulty in locating the pickup and return locations in Boston Logan airport. This appeared to be due to Advantage not having appropriate signage and labels indicating where customers should go. Advantage did not have an illuminated sign like all the other rental places had along the entry ramp into the parking garage. Because of this, I drove all around looking for where it was located and I ended up on the 3rd floor instead of the 2nd (where Advantage was) and had to ask an employee of a different rental place where it was. He said this happens to people A LOT and told me I would need to find the gate person and tell her what happened so she could let me out. I got stuck waiting in a massive line of cars paying to exit for nearly a half hour and had to convince the lady what had happened and to please let me out. By the time I got out and had to loop all the way around, find the correct Advantage return area, and get the car checked it was 12, an hour past the 11pm due time. Because of this, I was charged an extra $35.98 as a late fee. Also, the rental agreement says all charges are based on a 24 hour rental day which is misleading because technically my two day rental should have ended at 12 not 11pm. I see on Yelp advantage has just 1.5 stars which is not a competitive rating at all. Instead of writing another nasty comment to compound the poor rating, I am reaching out directly to see if the situation can be rectified here. I believe that due to lack of Advantage location signs around the (very confusing) Logan airport, as well as a misleading rental agreement, it is very fair to refund me the penalty fee of $35.98. This is definitely the way to establish rapport with your customers and get better reviews.Reviewed Dec 6 2017

Pros:The car was fine. The gentleman at the pick up desk was nice.Cons:There was only one person at the pick-up desk; it took thirty minutes to get finished with my paperwork and there had only been two people ahead of me. The car had not been refueled when I finally got to it.Reviewed Dec 12 2017

Great late night service!Pros:My flight was delayed 4 hours and i was exhausted when i landed at 11:30pm. The attendant met me inside and walked me out to the outdoor checkout even tho the inside counter wasn't supposed to be manned. He specifically said he knew that he had a few more customers coming and he wanted to make sure we got taken care of. Car selection was limited and I ended up with a brand new toyota highlander, which was a great vehicle. Returning the car was super easy. Would definitely rent from these guys again!Reviewed Feb 23 2017

Huge Problem - but it got fixedPros:After experiencing the horrible problems, becoming incredibly hot, having to drive back to the airport, and paying the extra tolls, the gentleman at the booth was very apologetic, and switched me to a working van immediately without any further hassle - by him politely and quickly fixing the problem, the lost day would have been completely ruined. EZ should fire immediately the people who lent the first vehicle, and commend the gentlemen who lent me the replacement vehicle. Also, why have a phone number than no one answers, and have a message system where no one returns messages?Cons:I drove away from EZ at Logan Int'l in Boston with a minivan, and did not notice till I had left the garage and was in a heavy traffic flow that the van was dirty on the inside - dust everywhere that no one had wiped for a while, but far more importantly it was 95 degrees out AND THE AIR CONDITIONER DID NOT WORK - it only blew UNconditioned air. I had places to go right away and pick up family members and of course had paid the toll to leave the airport, and I did not want to return unless EZ had a working replacement. I called, and called and called their numbers, left message after message for several hours - NEVER received a call back, and no one EVER answered the phone. Five hours later I was able to go back to the airport and luckily there was a replacement van, but I, plus my familt members were fully perspired. And, when they got in the back of the van, realized the seat was broken and not secure. Ridiculous.Reviewed Aug 17 2016
