Pros: Room and en-suite was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast, and particularly the coffee, was excellent. David/Julia are very nice and welcoming people - great hosts!
Cons: Not much, if anything, that I didn't like. The only thing I could make a minor point about is the location, but to be fair if you're driving as most people will do and as I did, it shouldn't be a huge issue.

Pros: Comfy beds. Clean. Modern bathroom. Quiet street. Could open windows at night without being disturbed. Got UK Adapter for charging our phones. Friendly stuff
Cons: 1)Way to the entrance is not trolleyfriendly.we had to Carry our bags from the sidewalk over the parking slot. 2)Costs for airport shuttle (5-8£ one way) 3)Extra Cost for hot breakfast and normal breakfast was really basic. Toast and Marmelade. Some fruits. Some cheap Joghurt. Some cereals with milk. 4) small sink next to bed.
4,0 Okay
Pros: they kindly allowed me to store my bags between check-out and my late afternoon flight. the bathroom was very clean. lovely house.
Cons: •WIFI: the wifi internet was super slow, and then shut down entirely. unacceptable in a developed country. •DIRTY: there was a old fan in the room that turned on, but didn't blow any air. the wiring around the fan was entirely coated in dust. disgusting. it clearly had not been cleaned in months, which shows a lack of attention to detail. •CHECKOUT: checkout is at 10am. considering people have afternoon flights, would it really kill them to allow guest to checkout at 11am or noon? i never heard of a 10am checkout at such a small guest house. •ODD: the owner quoted a 7 pound taxi to the airport but it was 8. i don't care about the money, but this again shows a lack of attention to detail considering they must send several people to the airport daily. not knowing the price of such a core part of the stay seems strange.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was amazing. He explained everything, inspected the room with me, made sure I had everything I needed, even told me to go help myself in the breakfast room with anything I wanted as I was leaving very early in the morning. This is a very well managed guest house!
7,0 Good
Pros: Clean everywhere, comfortable bed, friendly staff.
Cons: Extra cost for parking and then asking if you would like eggs for breakfast and when they bring them first then telling you they cost extra
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Even though we arrived after 8pm we could still easily get in to the building and our room key waiting for us. The room was clean, warm and very homely. The shower was hot and all the facilities worked. We were also asked if we wanted breakfast the next day and whether we wanted to book a taxi to get to the airport which I thought was very nice good customer service.
Cons: The left hand bedside table lamp in our room nr 8 buzzed unless it’s on full brightness. The dimmer switch perhaps needs attention. A part from that there wasn’t anything we didn’t like about staying here. Many thanks
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Arrived at the hotel a bit late, however, the host was extremely understandable and explained what we needed to do. The room was nice, modern and clean!
Cons: Nothing

6,0 Good
Pros: The location was nice. Had the weather been good it would have been nice to see the grounds more.
Cons: Terrible smell in the first room we were checked in to. I'm assuming this was due to the seweres flooding due to the rain. We got our room changed but it was no where newer is good as the upgraded room I had paid for.
2,0 Mediocre
Cons: The lack of staff, the service, the lack of heat or hot water during our stay.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was very friendly and informative. She explained the situation with the boiler and told me when it would be fixed. The room was very big and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The boilers were down due to the storm, however the following day they were fixed and the water was warm again. Room service took a while to come, therefore the meals wasn't always hot. Other then that, this hotel exceeded my expectations.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was amazing and lots of parking available
Cons: Food was not great and service in restaurant was very poor, but hotel were very understanding when we explained our experience.

Cons: N/a
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great Site Stylish House Perfectly arranged old and new times design
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the shower was good when there was hot water. The building and setting are beautiful.
Cons: There was no hot water for the first day of our stay apparently due to storm Dennis damaging the boiler, we were not offered any compensation for this. Very drunk guests returned about midnight on our first night and carried on until 3:30 in the morning, they had been fighting and in the morning there was blood in the lift, 36 hours later this had not been cleaned until I pointed it out to reception. We had breakfast on our second day, the coffee was cold, the plates were cold and the scrambled egg was rubber, probably the worst hotel breakfast experience I have had in years.

7,1 Good
Pros: Nicely done out rooms. Vintage look. Great bathroom.
Cons: Expensive for 12m2. Looks like it has been in use for a time without some Maintainance. Little things, a missing curtain tie, poor ceiling lighting, tetchy TV set.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, great food from the restaurant, comfortable bed
Cons: It's such a same that all of the good points above were ruined by the noise from the road. Being located next to a main road, we were kept awake throughout the night by passing traffic due to the poor noise insulation from the windows which may of well have been opened. Provision of earplugs would have been a small benefit and something to consider?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Always fabulous
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly efficient service
9,0 Excellent
Pros: What a fabulous place royally looked after very homely wonderful food absolutely brilliant staff . Especially Z0wie , I will return the menu is fantastic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay and will be our hotel of choice from now on when in the area. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was also great.
Cons: The style, staff and overall experience was spot on.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A lovely bar with great food - I had the cauliflower steak and the chimichurri was amazing! Even though they were really busy on a Sunday afternoon, the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was lovely - a rustic and cosy feel which made me feel very at home and relaxed. They even provided proper coffee with a little cafetière and a cute bag of tea bags in the room. It was a little cold when I walked in, but the staff turned the radiator on as soon as I arrived and it was soon toasty and warm. I had the pancakes for breakfast in the morning which arrived quickly and were delicious!
Cons: It would be great to get some decaffinated drinks options in the room eg decaf coffee or herbal teas, and perhaps a biscuit or two? :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was clean and cozy. The food in the pub was excellent. Great beer and pizza, and steak!!! The delicious breakfast was included with the room. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are inspired to come back again and explore more of England. This was a layover from Spain heading back to Canada. One night at The Curious Pig In The Parlour has given us some very fond memories. We tell our friends of our stay there. We know some day we will return.
Cons: I have no dislkes to report. We loved it!

7,4 Good
Pros: Good service in the restaurant and nice breakfast
Cons: Monorail can be heard through the windows
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location in a walking distance from the airport
Cons: Breakfast was not included. For a price like that I would expect breakfast to be included, otherwise it's a hidden fee In my case reception offered me to prepay breakfast, in the morning it turned out it was not paid for
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Bed was super comfortable. I like the toiletries provided. Breakfast was good too...a really wide variety of options. The hot chocolate for breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Minor details but at breakfast what was labelled as fig compote was actually prunes, the smell of jet fuel was probably unavoidable, but was a bit queasy making, and it would have been nice if the direct access tunnel had been open. Very minor issues, I will stay again.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Reasonable price, convenient location, nice rooms!
Cons: A little awkward to get suitcases up the small staircase by yourself after tiring travel!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: perfect location for the airport. friendly service. taxi run to the airport super helpful.
Cons: the room was very hot, a little smelly and no soap - nothing that couldn't be fixed there and then I'm sure, but I arrived late and was very tired to inform the staff at the time.

Pros: Great location, shuttle and breakfast. The staff are always friendly. My room was good value for money.
Cons: There was a boiler in my room which was quite noisy during the night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Airport shuttle very good and punctual
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location was the best thing about this hotel if we had know that we was going to be put in one of the chalet rooms we wouldn't of booked here and to make matters worse the toilet seat was hanging off would not stay in this part of the hotel again
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly. beds were comfortable Lots of hot water. Transport on site
Cons: nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for an overnight stay before an early flight
Cons: The room was tiny, but for the price I'm not complaining.
7,0 Good
Cons: Mistake online and the wrong date was booked so had to pay for another night without any refund. Pity. Otherwise good service
9,0 Excellent
Pros: quaint and charming..very friendly and helpful staff..
Cons: no
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and evening meal were fine. Room was clean and bed was comfortable
Cons: The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from Gatwick airport. On the outward journey it was very efficient. On the return we were left for an hour in the cold. The car parking charges are quite high per day. The high parking charges and the wait at the airport somewhat negated the benefits. I think in future we will go back to driving to Gatwick on the day of the flight rather than staying over the night before.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Convenient location to the airport.
Cons: Front desk staff very rude when told about old blood stains on bedsheet, and phone in the room not working to make a call to the front desk to rearrange shuttle time (due to delayed flight out). Is there anything else you'd like to moan about?
7,0 Good
Pros: The main staff were lovely, very friendly, as was the chap that picked us up from Gatwick. The room was lovely and warm, which was great as it was freezing outside. We liked the fact that they picked us up from the Airport and took us back the following day at a cost of £6 each way. We didn't eat in their restaurant as we had been told of an exceptional Fish and Chip shop, "Golden Fish and Chips" about 5mins away close to Lidl and we certainly weren't disappointed, l can honestly say that they were the best we have ever tasted.
Cons: I always strip the bed before l leave accommodation, so was a bit shocked to find blood stains on pillows and sweat stains? on both pillows and mattress topper, considering we had just been told it was all new?? Maybe she just meant the bed? Pillows were a little too hard for us with no choice of softer ones. Noticed every ashtray dotted about, even those attacked to walls were full to spilling over. They need to keep on top of their cleaning staff. Our room was in an annex near the back gate with cars arriving through said gate at all times, their head lights lighting up the room in the dark as there wasn't blackout curtains at the windows, also cars crunching over the gravel on arrival, so with that and the hard pillows, we didn't get an awful lot of sleep.

Pros: The hotel itself was beautiful and the spa was dreamy! The second best one i've been too, first best is the blue lagoon iceland :P. Staff were great! showed me around everywhere and to my room, very person which was nice. Room was huge, i won a bid on a spa suite for a great price.
Cons: Food was a tad pricey so had to venture into town.
6,0 Good

Cons: Awkward if you want a smoke. Not clear.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the bedsheets and room was to a high standard
Cons: The price of the food was too high for what it was
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful grounds. Friendly staff. The best mineral water I have ever tasted in the mini fridge. Lovely spa facilities- although at an additional cost.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Getting away for the night.
Cons: The spa has separate sauna and steam rooms you have to go into the changing room. When you're away for a romantic break it's not good enough. The reflection resturant was over rated and over priced. My wife had the prawn cocktail for starters which the water from the frozen prawns had run into the sauce leaving a very bland taste. I had the squid ink hake which I struggled to eat . The room (wendover) was clean however the radiator was very noisy like it was running water all night and the pillows were flat and hard.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly and helpful, with a free lift to the airport to get my plane!

9,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very lovely stay! I had to spend the night to catch an early flight from Gatwick. Instead of a cheap 'uniform' hotel room, this place convinced with character, charm, comfort, was super easy to reach from Gatwick. My room was Huge, looked better than on pictures, and the pub recommendations for dinner were great. The town itself was very cute, too!

Pros: Great location for anyone needing to stay at Gatwick South Terminal. Good discount offers for locally available food so check-in before you eat! Bed very comfortable and room astonishingly quiet given the location.
Cons: Bathroom too small for the shower which was not enclosed in any way - ie the water gets everywhere leaving no dry space to stand at the sink/use the loo; probably manageable by solo guest but very difficult for two...

Pros: Great location, comfortable bed and great shower. I considered some cheaper options at other hotels, but for time saving and for early flights, this was an excellent choice.
Cons: N/A
7,0 Good

Pros: Location and convenient for travel. Comfortable bed
Cons: Lack of tea coffee making facilities. Discounts afford at nearby restaurants and bars should be pointed out sooner. Didn’t see the offers until I had eaten. Room very small as expected. Great for me as I had a double and was alone but if travelling with my partner it would be very tight

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is attached to the departure hall of Gatwick north terminal. That made it very convenient for us to catch our very early morning flight out. Will definitely stay here again when we have to catch early morning flight out of Gatwick.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to terminal
Cons: Indifferent / robotic staff
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: The “eggs” at the the breakfast buffet were not really eggs and tasted horrible, but all the other food was great. And the hotel was clean and conveniently located.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The ease is the main benefit, from evening bag drop in the terminal you can walk straight into the hotel. Its location means no transfer time in the morning you go straight through to security. This makes spending the extra money worth it for us if we are on an early 6am flight. You can get up 5am, shower, breakfast and still make the gate, just!
Cons: Cooked food/breakfast starts after an early departure but then if that is really important to you, book a later flight. There is a great continental and if your flight time allows a brilliant cooked breakfast, maybe different/lower pricing for early breakfast might be nice?
6,0 Good
Pros: Location, location, location!!!
Cons: The room was hot and the a/c did not work.
9,0 Excellent
Cons: Would have liked a mini fridge
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rude staff on reception and the fact that bedrooms were being allotted on a first come, first served basis. There was nowhere to leave our luggage.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: A hotel attached to the departure terminal should be a thing in every major airport. So convenient for extended layovers.
Cons: The AC in the room either didn't work or didn't work very well. The room never achieved the temperature set on the thermostat. The staff attempted to fix it from somewhere outside the room but we didnly notice a change. We were too tired from traveling to deal with it any further and just slept.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location for one night stay at the airport ... bar and restaurant were convenient and adequate ...

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay except first night heating did not work in my room - but the hotel sorted as soon as I told them
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely relaxed atmosphere and peaceful .....very pleasant.....perfect for a romantic getaway ....friendly hotel employees
Cons: Didn’t see a bar
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Truly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff is extremely kind and professional, and my room was magniificently decorated. The bathtub was even big enough for me, and at 6'3 that's rare to find. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, and the hotel grounds are gorgeous and well kept. I hope to have a chance to stay again someday for more than a one night visit.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very obliging and friendly staff, especially the gentleman who showed us to our room, nice character rooms and amazing restaurant. Extremely convenient for Gatwick, great price and plenty of parking.
Cons: A fair few cobwebs in our room which gave the impression that it wasnt very clean. Lots of stairs including inside our allocated room, a steep flight up to the bathroom which for me mobility wise, was an issue although we were very quickly found another room without any problem.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a hidden gem ! Nestled at the end of a track is the beautiful Longshott Manor. Set in beauts up grounds the hotel is quintessentially English and whilst luxurious it hasn’t been over done and still feels homely and welcoming. The restaurant food is exceptional and the staff are truly lovely going out of their way to make you feel like a friend visiting. This is a real find and I will be staying again without hesitation and with only a short drive to Gatwick Airport but away from being under the direct flight path ( my bug bear staying at airport hotels ) this really will be my go-to for when I need to fly out of Gatwick again
Cons: Nothing at all it’s gorgeous
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was amazing except the cost of food.
Cons: The price of food is ridiculous.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, perfect location next to the airportt
9,0 Excellent
Pros: reasonable price, good location
Cons: we were concerned about an 'elephant' in the room above us but it turned out it didn't affect our sleep at all - the soundproofing may be somewhat lacking for some heavy walkers!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Good clean friendly hotel room very quite which was surprisin as we were so close to Gatwick airport great nights sleep good food.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent price given the location, comfortable and clean room.
Cons: We were on ground floor & could hear people outside going to and/or coming from their vehicles. It’s a 24 hr hotel with people coming & going all the time so outside noise is to be expected, perhaps there could be some signs to remind people to think about those in the rooms nearby.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Within walking distance to North Terminal. Very comfortable bed and hot shower/bath. Restaurant food was lovely with good service
6,5 Good
Cons: Annoying to get to from terminal/coach depot despite being so close to both.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Needed to move rooms this was managed seamlessly. Quite room. Comfy bed. Great bathroom with excellent water pressure. Nice bar & reasonably priced for an airport hotel. Easy walking distance to North Terminal.
Cons: Nothing it was perfect for an overnight once we changed rooms as the aircon/heating wasn't working. The staff were very helpful.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room & bathroom, easy to get to from the airport (directly on bus routes), direct access to train to London or Brighton.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: location and cleanliness
Cons: the reception staff were a little unhelpful
4,0 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and spacious.
Cons: I was unable to get a shuttle bus from or to the hotel. I emailed in advance of arriving at the hotel to reserve a space on the shuttle bus. No one got back to me and when I got to the hotel they said it was full. The lady at reception was lovely and listened to my point but her manager I found very rude. Rather than apologise and listen to me, he totally shut me off and didn’t listen. I appreciate shuttle buses have limited availability but I think if that is a main attraction of booking that hotel, then something should have been organised to help me. And also I had emailed to reserve my space and no one bothered to get back to me. I spent an extra £30 on taxis so I should have just got a nicer hotel next to the airport. I definitely wouldn’t recommend if you are booking to use Gatwick Airport!!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Always clean Exelent food although expensive. Staff was friendly and efficient.
Cons: Beds are to small for 2 people
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful
Cons: No queen or king size beds
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employee (at the front desk) was very helpful and got us roll away bed. Staff was very friendly. Buffet was good and reasonably priced at $15.
Cons: Daily Mail was available at the buffet (really), who is the -voting nutjob manager that agreed to this?
8,0 Excellent
Cons: When arrived there was not any shampoo, shower gel, soap etc, I had to call reception and they brought it, I found them very confusing didn't know what is the purpose of each one.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location from the tracks at Crawley Station! Easy to walk around town to shops and restaurants! This was our second stay here because of the convenience of a reasonable cost transportation to the airport.
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: There were a lot of hair that wasn't cleaned off from the bed sheets/carpet/night lamp, so better cleaning would be greatly appreciated. The room was also near the train tracks so it was a bit difficult to sleep. Hoping my next stay would be better.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was reasonable, although the mushrooms were not that good, the tomatoes barely cooked. The pastries were not edible, they were raw pastry underneath, and gluey. Couldn't eat mine. Shame, they looked ok.
Cons: Breakfast, expensive for what it was.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Wifi was very slow and TV kept breaking up. Seemed to be more prevalent in the west wing
7,1 Good
Pros: Bunnies hopping around in the courtyard! Staff were friendly and professional. Wide variety of foods available in Continental breakfast (you pay extra for the full English breakfast). It's a safe, relatively inexpensive, overnight stay for someone catching a plane the next morning.
Cons: There was a "poopy" odor emanating from the bathroom. It did not subside during our stay. The television remote did not work. "Operator Error" on my part, but I thought I was booking the Premier Inn that's right next to the airport; it turns out "S. Gatwick" refers to location, not adjacency to South Terminal. Not a big deal, but there is a Premier Inn closer to the airport if that's what you're looking for. It was a 13 pound taxi ride to the airport (the hotel also offers shuttle service).

Pros: We appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the Manager, of the restaurant Romans and his team. Nina from Moldovia, was efficient and helped in the breakfast service and made our day with her welcome. Nina took our order and was friendly and also helped with explaining all the specials so we had two wines and got the bottle in the deal aswell as soup and sandwich. Toyah did the same another time. Uana cooked the breakfasts and made sure that we got mushrooms and fried eggs. Sandor the chef made a fantastic duck with red cabbage and salsa. Truly amazing
Cons: I wish there was a nail file
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is very good for access to Gatwick airport, very convenient. It’s a very no nonsense type of place, efficient staff, clean comfortable room. I have used it numerous times in the past and currently use it regularly for both business and leisure flights from Gatwick. The hotel has just recently undergone a refurbishment, modernising many of its rooms.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, convenient Holiday Inn near the Gatwick North Terminal, great place to stay that didn't break the bank before an early morning Gatwick departure. Frequent shuttle between airport and hotel was 4 pounds per person which was reasonable.
7,5 Good
Pros: V close to airport. Convenient
Cons: Lifts were very annoying and made me wait a long while
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities with great food
Cons: Having to pay £20 for a night car park you may as well put on the room
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy room, amazing breakfast
Cons: Dinner options, very limited and not good quality
4,0 Okay
Pros: Free shuttle from airport is best feature. Had to pay extra with reservation to get breakfast included. No other amenities included in description for extra 20 UK pounds/dollars/whatever.
Cons: Got room online for teen son stranded at Gatwick. Unable to phone hotel blocked no. Charges apply? Front desk refused to print/fax emergency form for him, office is closed 5 pm?! No customer service. Travel agent had to intervene from USA, unbelieva
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and modern room.
Cons: Tried calling front desk once to get another towel and later for a wake up call. They never answered the phone.
5,0 Okay
Cons: It said there was shuttle service, however it wasn't free £3 pp each way. Taxi might be cheaper than the shuttle for two or more people from North terminal. It stops at two other hotels before the Holiday Inn. I'll stay closer/on terminal next time.
7,9 Good
Pros: They brought me a toothbrush because I forgot xx
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employees were particularly helpful. We needed to receive some packages, and store some luggage: they helped everything go smoothly! Thanks again!
7,0 Good
Pros: It was clean and the front desk upgraded my room for free
Cons: I had a SUPER long wait at check in. Easily 20 minutes, yet there were only 2 people in front of me. Also £4 each way for the shuttle service was a bit steep.
