Pros: Locations room size breakfast
Cons: Bed was too hard pillows were hard too ask staff to switch room didn’t get new room got crook in my neck
6,0 Good
Pros: The front desk staff is wonderful. Friendly and dealt with my complaints very well. Breakfast is also very good. Excellent for a chain hotel.
Cons: Heater didn't work and room was cold. And I couldn't leave the bathroom door open to help warm it either. They did offer to switch rooms, though but by then it was 10pm and I was just sleeping there. (They did bring me a blanket). The way the shades work is a little funky. The walls are quite thin. Easy to hear people coming and going. For the money, it's not awful.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I love how the staff was very welcoming and nice.
Cons: I disliked how there was hair in the shower and the balcony screen door was broken.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Room size
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent good selection, Lovely omelettes
Cons: The porridge could have better , was only partially cooked one morning
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like that it was spacious with a living room , didn't feel like a hotel room. It was like being in an apartment. With a small kitchenette and full sized refridgerator
Cons: The plumbing from other rooms is pretty noisy and they could do a better maintaining the grout in the bathrooms, but overall great experience and comfortable stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoy the delicious variety of food at breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the kitchen staff is excellent.(cooking, preparation and presentation) and the rooms are extremely comfortable and quiet.

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Sliding door off.

Pros: This hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast area was completely inadequate in terms of size for the number of people having breakfast. It felt like a school canteen. The quality of the food was passable, but eggs coming out of a carton rather than shells when making omelettes at the omelette station was completely off-putting
Cons: Room was good, well furnished and provisioned, and comfortable
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious and clean room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was just great! This breakfast had a great variety and saved us substantial money over dining out.

7,0 Good
Pros: Everything was clean and looked good. The room was very nice and comfortable for the price and location. The breakfast options and free parking was a huge plus.
Cons: We did not like the bad sewage like smell that was coming out of the bathroom sink whenever the water was running. It would be nice if earlier check in was available.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place is off the beaten path.Very quite and clean.
Cons: The hotel does not have a hot tub
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facility was exceptional. We come to Cypress every year, sometimes twice for family and were staying at another hotel down the street. The hotel was booked and we tried Hampton Inns and this is now our new hotel and wherever we go when we travel.
Cons: No negative comments.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: cleanliness. Very helpful staff. Very good location which is close to the mall (but still quiet place to sleep) and breakfast.
Cons: none
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, spacious, beds were super comfortable and breakfast had a big variety of food, for the entire family to enjoy. Would definitely stay again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and it was just as pictures had shown. Parking was available a plus we didn't expect. Overall great service.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff took the time to find me another room once they understood I had a disability.. great customer experience! The facility is clean and nice!
Cons: That we couldn’t stay longer.. lol
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so friendly and not in that I'm-this-way-for-work type of way. They all seem to take pride in what they do and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. I have sensitive skin and always need to get the sheets washed without bleach. I've gone through a range of experiences with this once I get to the hotel regardless of the how many stars they have. Sometimes they lie saying they've done it with me laying and getting an immediate allergic reaction. Here it went as smooth as butter. I usually don't expect much from free continental breakfasts, but was pleasantly surprised when I tasted the omelet and chicken sausages. Delicious. I wish I would have come down earlier so I could have had time to eat more. Even the pool had nice furniture. For the what it was, they were doing a great job at keep the place clean, inviting, and filled with great service.
Cons: The walls are super thin. When I was trying to go sleep, the couple's normal level conversation next door was coming through the wall as if amplified by a speaker. I also feel some of the chairs in the lobby could do with some reupholstering on the seats.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best staff ever. Reception and all others make you feel welcome and ready to assist you if needed. I come to this hotel yearly and it always looks like new
Cons: Why is it that 90% of hotels only have one sink? This sink was a bit high for my 5 ft wife
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All staff members greeted you warmly and made you feel welcome. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and bedding was just right weight for the weather. Free breakfast had many options and everything was laid out beautifully. Felt like we were family.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employee was wonderful and sweet. I told her that my partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and she managed to put stuff together even though the other front desk staff failed. Hotel employee is the best!
Cons: Staff checked us in and they were both cold. Also, hotel employee made a note for our room to be decorated plus fruit and candy, but I practically had to beg them to figure it out. I wish I was checked in by hotel employee. She has great reviews!

Pros: Really nice place near the mall
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Coffee and water were provided. Nice view but the annual Christmas tree was not lit up.
Cons: No lights on Christmas tree.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Commitment to conservation / eco strategies
Cons: The parking was kind of far away. I expected a 4 star to have either sauna or jacuzzi in their "spa"
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was....the room was beautiful and the staff was phenomenal. Absolutely perfect. The hotel was full and yet they make you feel like you are the only guest there.
7,0 Good
Pros: The bed was very comfy!
Cons: For this being such a high-end hotel, having to pay for wi-fi seemed a bit ridiculous.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The location:Although this hotel is well located for our purposes of seeing "The Nutcracker" at the nearby theatre, it's level of service is somewhere below a Motel Six. The help is poorly trained really at every position we encountered. Our room's telephone did not work when we got there (where was the quality control inspection of the room insuring that everything was in working order). They spent an hour coming to the conclusion that they couldn't fix it. We spent the first two hours of our stay with them running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The "engineer" seemed totally untrained and incompetent. The on duty manager had nothing to say but "Sorry" over and over literally scores of times.
Cons: Virtually everything could have been better. Read above. We also did not have a menu for room service in our room and had to ask twice before one was actually brought up. Our breakfast room service order that was delivered was not what we had ordered even though I had made a point of repeating everything and having it read back to me before I hung up. Something is seriously wrong with the management and staffing at this hotel (and I stay in hotels all over the world for business). We will never stay here again and I will now think twice before staying at a Westin anywhere. I am a believer that 'a fish stinks from its head'.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable rooms.. awesome view of the giant christmas tree. Good tv with great channels and on demand movies for the kids
Cons: 29 dollar parking!!!! For guests.. that's way too high for guests already staying at a high end hotel.

Pros: Gorgeous I was in love with everything about it
Cons: Parking is expensive
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk person was extremely nice and helpful when I made an error when I booked my room.

7,0 Good
Pros: Bridge to South Coast Plaza.
Cons: No jacuzzi. $29 for parking.

Pros: Comfy beds, Very affordable, and great location

Cons: The hotel in currently remodeling. Lots of construction and noise. This should have warranted a lower price.

2,0 Mediocre
Cons: Not a 4-star hotel. Do not book if you are expecting 4-star
1,0 Poor
Pros: I booked because the price would have been good for a 4 star hotel
Cons: Not a 4 star hotel. We were woken up by house keeping at 8am even though we had the do not disturb sign on our door. They were also doing roofing work right outside our room starting at 9am so we checked out early even though we wanted to sleep in.
5,0 Okay

10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was pretty and clean.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant staff is wonderful. Have been here a few times and always look forward to Carlos our waiter who is always cheerful, friendly and is someone who you can not help but like right off the bat. Food is good too. We always stay here once a year for a couple of nights to go see the Pageantry of the Arts in Laguna Beach. Have never been disappointed.
Cons: Having to leave ……..we enjoy our stay here always.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: My room was located near the open lounge area which was noisy from other patrons.

Pros: Friendly staff Small store for drinks or snacks Nice little restaurant
Cons: Did not read anything about paying a $22.00 per night parking fee. I was a guest and needed a space. How unfair to make a paying guest pay for parking. I will think twice about staying here again.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Remolded room was nice ,the price /deal, new gym& warm cookie upon check in. Hotel employee & her manager were helpful. I Got delicious food so didnt need to leave hotel & drive in heavy rain during Christmas (when nothing is open) .
Cons: $22/night parking fee... very small.pool/ jacuzzi
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean and comfortable and safe. Though my check in experience was wanting; they were gracious to let me delay my check out until noon because my son was getting discharged from the hospital and I couldn't make it back by 11. I want to give a shout out for Nelson, the driver. He was very kind, warm, friendly, and prompt!
Cons: When I checked in and went to my room I found that it was a handicapped room! Why when I did not request one? I do not like to use the handicap rooms, so I had to go back down with my luggage and request to change rooms. The receptionist seemed a little put out by my request. Then, because of this, I almost didn't get served at the bar. They claimed they were closed when it was 10:55. Again, I felt like I was an annoyance when I pointed out it was not yet 11pm. Thankfully, they did serve me and a few other people. It was a rough ending to a rough day.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Privacy is respected and staff were very welcoming, the environment is very clean. The bedroom is very spacious and comfortable.

Pros: Courtyard was clean. Staff was kind. Love the t.v. service you have.
Cons: When we got to room, I put was items in the bathroom. The closes on it's own and locks. So we had to call service desk to request repair. When the service staff came in room, he said they have had issues with locks. I don't think he was here any longer than a minute, when it was fixed. Door closes and locks again. Waited 40 minutes for repair. He asked how long we were staying. We said for night. He said leave the door open, we will repair tomarrow. ( Leave the door open? ) ( ANOTHER ROOM MAYBE?)

4,5 Okay
Pros: Nothing after my poor experience with the employees.
Cons: I will never stay at a Marriott hotel again. I have never been so humiliated in my life like my last experience at the Springhill Suites by Marriott at 17601 Fitch, Irvine, CA 92614 (P 949.757.0500). It was by far the worst treatment you could ever give to a client. I arrived in Irvine on Tuesday morning for work and my meetings were extended last minute from Thursday morning to Thursday afternoon, so I needed to extend my stay in the hotel for an extra day right at my check-in. I talked to the front desk woman/employee and requested to extend my stay. She then requested my credit card to do another reservation just from Thursday to Friday, since my flight would be leaving on Friday at 6:30 AM. My credit card was charged on Tuesday (check-in date 10/15) in the amount of $70.00 and I assumed that was my extension since I had already paid $394.38 on 10/4 for my stay from Tuesday until Thursday. Thursday I worked until 6:00 PM and when I got back to the hotel my card was not opening my room door. I went to the front desk to talk to a different attendant than I had checked in with named Amy and she told me my check-out was scheduled for 3:00 PM on Thursday. I complained to her expressing I had extended my reservation and she told me that the charge might not have gone through because she couldn’t see any reservation under my name for Thursday-Friday. I asked for her to move me to a different room and her response was: -”We don’t have any rooms available anymore and unfortunately you will need to look for a new hotel.” When I checked my email I had an email from the general manager David Allen at 5:14 PM telling me to call him urgently, but he didn’t express any information that I needed to checkout or anything and I was in a meeting without access to my email. I am a LOYALTY client and Marriott has my phone number filed. Why didn’t any employee attempt to call me to discuss this situation? After the front desk employee Amy told me there was no room I requested my personal items and she brought my suitcase half filled with my clothes. The rest of my toiletries, dirty clothes, and shoes were put in a trash bag. I could not believe what I was seeing! First, it is an invasion of my privacy having your employees touching my underwear and personal items and second they didn’t even have the competence to call me at all. This is an offense to any client! This impersonal and indifferent treatment was not what I had anticipated when signing up to be a part of the Bonvoy program. Finally, I asked Amy if they would pay for my stay somewhere else and she said she couldn’t do that for me. I was shuffled out of a room I had paid for, without notice, and without a place to stay. I asked to speak with the manager and she told me he would only be available again tomorrow at 9:00 AM which is when I’m supposed to be on my flight back home! It wouldn’t have been as bad if it was just one employee that had made a mistake because mistakes do happen. But when every single employee involved in this situation from check-in until check-out made mistakes I realized something - this is a trend - a trend of poor management and poor hospitality. After this awful experience I stopped at a Hilton two minutes away from this hotel. I explained what happened at Marriott and they gave me a discounted rate and free valet for all of the inconvenience that I had dealt with. The attendant could see that I was distressed and wanted me to have a good night of sleep so she went out of her way to fix Mariott’s mistake. I was in Irvine because I have a job where I travel for work between two-four times per week around the USA and my plan was to find a loyalty program with a national hotel chain where I could stay over 100 nights per year. There is a silver lining to this entire situation . . . and I know now that Marriott will never have my loyalty.

Cons: Escalating parking fee is a big deterrent. from $0 to $15 in one year is excessive. Front desk staff were not familiar nor helpful to respond to my question about applying frequent flyer mileage plan # nor about the Marriott value card I wanted to u

Pros: the yogurt & fruit
Cons: There was a horde of fruit flies around open food. Cleanliness was not a top priority at this hotel, there were certain things I saw that were downright disgusting. Pros: Great location, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was typical “hotel” continental. The room was dirty, there was a ring around the bathtub so I didn’t get to bath just a shower. There were toenail clippings in the corner, room didn’t look like it was vacuumed. The bed skirt was also dirty and the room Was dusty. Regardless we will stay again just because of the location and the more apartment feel instead of a hotel.

Pros: The beds
Cons: The breakfast was not good especially the egg and every day was the same thing . We had one day in our room when the sink got clogged and they had to move us to another room. We had bought food and the fridge didn’t work the where the freezer part was supposed to be they kept telling me maintenance was going Go fix it and it just never happened they kept giving me different answer so our food got bad . Also the bathroom sliding door horrible idea especially when people can hear everything no type of privacy in a bathroom like that .

Cons: The heater in our room did not work. And the front desk didn't seem too interested that it didn't. We didn't like the floors hardwood/carpet. Would have rather had all carpet. And they brought two extra pillows but WITHOUT pillowcases though. Weird.

Pros: This place is off the beaten path.Very quite and clean.
Cons: The hotel does not have a hot tub

Pros: The facility was exceptional. We come to Cypress every year, sometimes twice for family and were staying at another hotel down the street. The hotel was booked and we tried Hampton Inns and this is now our new hotel and wherever we go when we travel.

Pros: The breakfast was just great! This breakfast had a great variety and saved us substantial money over dining out.

2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Located in a quiet neighborhood. Compared to the price, the room was large. Not as clean as a five-star hotel, but good enough for what you pay.
Cons: At the last night, I asked for a wake-up call but never received it. It was supposed to be a backup alarm just in case something goes wrong with my cell phone alarm. I told the manager to wake me up at 5:30 twice but never got the call.
