Copenhagen hotels near Tivoli

Pros: Wonderful location. Walkable to all sites. Beautiful building and great breakfast.

Pros: The location and atmosphere are great.

Cons: The bar area is a bit uninviting, as is the breakfast room, both in the basement. The lounge area is OK but nothing special.

Pros: Great breakfast (although with short natural fruit variety); cozy room and heated floor in the bathroom.

Cons: Walls are too thin and do not isolate noises from next door guest.

Pros: We really loved the comfy bed and the homely feel of the room. We also had a wonderful view from our window. The breakfast was good and we also dined in the restaurant which was excellent. It was a good location for winter time but I imagine it would be a fabulous location come summer in Copenhagen.

Pros: The location was perfect. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Great bar and spectacular restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was both helpful and exceptionally courteous. All in all, a wonderful place to stay in Copenhagen.

Cons: Took a Junior Suite which was really uncomfortable with the eaves of the roof and the upstairs sitting area which was not comfortable at all. Bathroom had a crazy layout - you need to be very thin...

Pros: The staff at 71 Nyhavn are friendly and welcoming and made our stay easy and comfortable. We were travelling with a dog and he was greeted with treats and amenities (bowls, etc.) in our room. Although dogs aren't allowed in the main breakfast room or the hotel restaurant, we were able to enjoy breakfast and also order from the full restaurant menu while we remained in the bar area.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location. It was very quiet in the hotel and the breakfast was brilliant

Cons: Some of the staff were quite rude, not particularly friendly and spoke loudly about a stabbing in the area. (Whilst laughing about it) Particularly the male staff on reception were quite loud and brash. One in particular liked to vocalise himself off duty at the bar. Room was comfortable, small and clean. Adequate. Breakfast busy but replenished frequently. Need ashtrays outside for the smokers. Good location for station. Might not suit more discerning travellers who don’t like a bit of rough as regards area. Prostitutes opposite hotel. Great Thai on same street and some quirky restaurants and bars to visit.

Pros: Small room, without a/c so we open the window and it was a little bit noisy, breakfast was really nice in a big and nice room. The stand was very helpful

Pros: The location was great (easy walking distance to central station) and the rooms were were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was great as well.

Cons: A false fire alarm went off at 4:30AM the first night of my stay.

Pros: The staff really, really tries to please you. Bike rental is approximately $20/day and bikes are all well serviced and cared for. Breakfast is very generous.

Cons: The smell of house cleaning products didn't work for us. The closed windows did cut street noise very well but then there was a lack of fresh air. Bathtub (small) could use a grab bar. location is in transition. Sex shops across the street but a short walk away are great restaurants and design shopping.

Cons: No Air Conditioner!?! At the very least, a hotel needs to have Air Conditioning. There was a fan in the room!!

Pros: This is the perfect hotel for you to use if you are planning on getting to the Copenhagen airport. The Central Train Station is a very short walk from the hotel where you can pick up a train that will deliver you to the airport in three, short stops. The hotel's location is also great if you want to go to Tivoli Garden and enjoy the downtown restaurants or walk around on the pedestrian streets. Overall, the hotel room was very clean and the room was sufficiently large so that you're not crowded. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. A small safe was provided for storage of items you don't want out in the open. An early breakfast starting at 6:30AM was provided as part of the room cost which worked well for us before starting on our trip back home. The breakfast had everything you would want, including hot service such as eggs, cold cut meats, bread, yogurt, etc. Well done! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.

Cons: There were only two, small things that I didn't like about the hotel; the lack of soap for the shower and their system of storing bags should you arrive before your room is available. Usually, hotels will provide a hard bar of soap you can take into the shower or else provide a dispenser for a body wash liquid in the shower. In this case, there was no hard soap available and the body wash liquid dispenser was outside of the shower over the sink requiring you to open the curtain and lean out. Not a big deal. Their storage of your bags if you arrive early is a little curious. The front desk will take your name and check on your room's availability. In the meantime, if you want to store your luggage, the hotel will give you a key card that allows you access to a luggage storage room. You retain this key card until you are formally checked in. Once checked in, your room key will also open the luggage storage room. Unfortunately, everyone else who arrives early also gets a key card. Thus any luggage you've placed into the storage room is now open to everyone else who also gets an access card while waiting for their room as well as those who have a room card. I would think that controlling the access to the "luggage room" to only hotel staff would make more sense from a security perspective.

Pros: Super service. We arrived friday late just at the beginning of the closedown The staff was very helpful and helped finding a fligth back to our place We have been fully reimbursed depsite the fact we spent one nigth there. It will be for sure the spot for our next stay in Copenhaguen

Pros: Hotel is located near the train station, so it is super easy to get around with public transport. Rooms really look that nice like they do on the pictures. Huge windows in your room as well as in your bathroom that you are actually able to open wide. Even got some trail mix as a welcome present as well as personal message. I really liked that. Breakfast was good, but can get very crowded sometimes. Loved the pastries :)

Cons: Mattresses slide around when you move at night. Although self checking is available inside it's hard to get inside the hotel at night for the very first time.

Pros: Great location, steps to the central train station (15 min. ride to the airport). The room was very comfortable, well appointed, and extremely clean, while and the lobby a great place to relax and the garden and sidewalk tables and chairs are perfect for smokers. Excellent value for the price.

Cons: Rooms do not have air conditioner and, while the city's temperature in August was cool, keeping the windows open at night was not an option because of the street noises generated by people. The staff graciously gave us a second room, which was significantly better in terms of noise, but you still could hear people eating breakfast in the garden

Pros: The things I’d rate most highly are its staff (helpful and friendly), its location (central yet quiet) and its facilities (comfortable bedrooms with a number of lounge/dining spaces.) If available, take up the option of including breakfast as part of your booking as it allows you a huge range of hot and cold items and unlimited (and unhurried) coffee. Fantastic!

Cons: It’s a shame that the current exchange rate means prices are fairly hefty for anyone from the UK - but this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Pros: Staff were all very nice in dealing with a poor hotel, facilities, and management. I do not fault the staff for the low quality of our stay.

Cons: We did not have the right room, but were moved to a room that resembled the one I booked. In the morning there was no water. No cold water, no hot water - no water. We were told we could shower in another room and given a key. Luckily, the water was restored, but only after hours of waiting. Do not stay here until all the construction is finished.

Pros: First of all I like to point out that I will visit - stay at Hotel Skt. Annæ in October 2020, and not like it was planned mid march. This All regards the Sars Cov-2 restrictions in Europe - Denmark, so the complete planning was a mess. Let alone the flight that was not possible. Gladly Hotel Skt. Annæ was Very understanding regards this. They did deliver a Super Service regards all, I can't thank them enough. In no time and without hassle or discussion they did change my booking 2 times to a later date in the year, even that my booking was a non refundable one. Talk about customerSERVICE. Just super, and I am already very comfy that my stay there in october will be a warm one at heart. My compliments to Hotel Skt. Annæ and there complete Staff ! Much respect and warm feelings from Belgium. I can recommend everyone to book here, they run a business with passion. See you'll in october Hotel Skt. Annæ. Farvel!

Cons: This can't go wrong !

Pros: Great location within walking distance to Nyhavan and Metro. Decent neighbourhood with some shops and cafe around for a cup of coffee and pastries. Will probably stay there again if the price is right. Room size is good compares to other European hotel. Do ask for air-conditioned room when booking. Our room has air-conditioning but my sister’s room doesn’t. Overall, a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

Cons: Would be nice if the washroom has more space.

Pros: This hotel was a pleasant surprise as we were unexpectedly delayed and found this last minute. Price was very fair and we were not expecting anything special but found this beautiful, quirky place with beautifully decorated rooms, a relaxing courtyard.

Cons: Unfortunately it must have been garbage collection day and early in the morning it was quite noisy outside our room making it impossible to sleep past 6am but we probably got one of the last rooms that was on the noisy side of the hotel?

Cons: Loud, party atmosphere in the garden area. ZERO respect for customers who wish to sleep. They literally let random drunks in OFF THE STREET to party all night. We made several phone calls to complain and nothing happened. Housekeeping is BAD. DIRTY also.

Pros: My wife and I spent two days in Copenhagen and we could not be more pleased with The Strand. It is about a 2 minute walk down from Nyhaven, making it incredibly easy to get to and from. It is also right next to the water and the footbridge across the water, making it very easy to get to the other side of Copenhagen where Christiania is located and wonderful food spots. The hotel also rents out bikes for a fair price and the bikes were incredibly nice. A built in locking feature so the bike is secure when you are gone, it was a wonderful addition to the trip. The room itself was comfortable, the bathroom had a tub, and the bed was very nice. Overall, a great hotel for a good price, we would definitely stay here again.
