Thought it would at least be clean
While it was very affordable the benefits end there.
It was not clean. Our coffee pot was disgusting - had something inside of it like someone tried to cook in it? There were hairs on the bed and the shower smelled moldy.
Internet connection is not good
Great location--in easy walking distance to central station and all the old town sights. A real bargain for the price in an expensive city.
A good base to explore.
Clean and pretty quiet. Close to central station. Efficient and tidy. Good value.
Not necessarily a place to relax. More a base to explore the city from.
Rooms are too small and the shower is extremely small it's actually part of the small bathroom floor. Rooms have no A/C so they are stuffy and hot. Also Windows are hard to open and you can't sleep with the window open because the clock bell goes off every hour and it loud. Also there's no way to turn off all the lights with removing your card from the door switch which powers the room.
Efficiency at its finest
Great value for the area. Incredible location. Impressively efficient use of space. Wonderful staff. Amazingly clean. Tasty breakfast.
Twin beds are small. Street-side rooms are a little loud. Might want to bring your own soap/shampoo.
Confort Quiet Breakfast
Simple, workable option
The location by the main train station, an art museum, and Tivoli is great. The hotel's motto of "all you need to sleep" is accurate. The rooms are simple and comfortable with the basics. A nice experience in tiny living! The breakfast is plentiful with a lot of seating.
There was little storage area in the room, and I was traveling with just a small backpack. Also, the wet room bathroom takes some getting used to, but is fun in its own way.
Great location, bathroom smelled like pee:(
Friendly staff, good facilities, easy check in
No air conditioning, but I knew that going in, I didn't realize it was going to be that nice outside causing high temperatures.
Location, breakfast; price
Noise of the gabage pickup each morning very early in the morning
Very friendly and helpful staff, warm and clean rooms, a perfect break from the cold outside.
The position is excellent! 3 min walking to the central station and the main shopping street. The breakfast is perfect, fresh stuff!
The std rooms are small but well-organized. I thought the shower impossible but in fact it was more then good!
Very tinny bath
I liked best the very light and warm accessories of the bed, it was really excellent.
The light in the room was quite poor
Close to Tivoli Gardens and city centre. Clean, well-kept, economical, and a reasonable breakfast.
Our standard room had bunk beds, and a pull-out bed that set up beside one of the bunks to make a double bed. With that up, the room was cramped. I would take the Commodore Room a second time, for another $20 Cdn. If you take the standard, be prepared to set the extra bed up yourself.
Convenient location, bar, tea/coffee facilities in room
Reception desk always very busy; building overheated & poorly ventilated; ensuite badly designed, inconvenient and unsafe; expensive.
The staff all spoke English, they were usually helpful, although a bit slow to help the lines and lines of people waiting, and the room was good enough for 1 night. I really enjoyed the breakfast, and the free internet access.
I dont know if there were any pictures on the site, and I realize Copenhagen is a very expensive city, but the room was much smaller than I expected... it was comfortable enough, but the value for the money was not really worth it. I felt like I was on a ship with how confined the room was. The walls are very thin, which made it difficult to sleep, but I realize it is a budget hotel, too, so it was fair, but just a lot smaller than I expected.
