Copenhagen hotels near Borsen

Pros: This place is unethical. They withheld money and continued to give me different dates for when they would return it. In the end, the stopped communicating all together. Luckily, my credit card (Chase) stepped in and I got my money back. But no help or thanks to the hotel. Go somewhere else!

Cons: Honest dealings with customers would be a start.

Pros: Very cosy, pleasant and service minded staff

Cons: The breakfast could better. And so could their red wines in the bar.

Pros: The staff really, really tries to please you. Bike rental is approximately $20/day and bikes are all well serviced and cared for. Breakfast is very generous.

Cons: The smell of house cleaning products didn't work for us. The closed windows did cut street noise very well but then there was a lack of fresh air. Bathtub (small) could use a grab bar. location is in transition. Sex shops across the street but a short walk away are great restaurants and design shopping.

Pros: This is the perfect hotel for you to use if you are planning on getting to the Copenhagen airport. The Central Train Station is a very short walk from the hotel where you can pick up a train that will deliver you to the airport in three, short stops. The hotel's location is also great if you want to go to Tivoli Garden and enjoy the downtown restaurants or walk around on the pedestrian streets. Overall, the hotel room was very clean and the room was sufficiently large so that you're not crowded. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. A small safe was provided for storage of items you don't want out in the open. An early breakfast starting at 6:30AM was provided as part of the room cost which worked well for us before starting on our trip back home. The breakfast had everything you would want, including hot service such as eggs, cold cut meats, bread, yogurt, etc. Well done! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.

Cons: There were only two, small things that I didn't like about the hotel; the lack of soap for the shower and their system of storing bags should you arrive before your room is available. Usually, hotels will provide a hard bar of soap you can take into the shower or else provide a dispenser for a body wash liquid in the shower. In this case, there was no hard soap available and the body wash liquid dispenser was outside of the shower over the sink requiring you to open the curtain and lean out. Not a big deal. Their storage of your bags if you arrive early is a little curious. The front desk will take your name and check on your room's availability. In the meantime, if you want to store your luggage, the hotel will give you a key card that allows you access to a luggage storage room. You retain this key card until you are formally checked in. Once checked in, your room key will also open the luggage storage room. Unfortunately, everyone else who arrives early also gets a key card. Thus any luggage you've placed into the storage room is now open to everyone else who also gets an access card while waiting for their room as well as those who have a room card. I would think that controlling the access to the "luggage room" to only hotel staff would make more sense from a security perspective.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, bed was comfortable, location was very convenient to the train station

Pros: The rooms are nice and food size, as you see on the pics, it’s really clean. The staff in reception is very nice and always ready to help. Breakfast is tasty and really fresh! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Cons: It’s advertised as “sound proof” rooms, I had to disagree as we could hear our neighbours at night!

Pros: I like the location, it was perfect. TThe first stay there, I wasn't as enamored as I became with the second stay. First time the room was a bit cramped and a bit worn, the second stay the room was much improved. Good service and very helpful staff.

Cons: The firstt time we were there, the room was a bit tired and need to be redone. The second time there we had a remodeled room that was great.

Pros: We arrived the day before Denmark closed down for the Coronavirus problem. The hotel is amazing and the staff were kind helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome at a time that was obviously difficult. It is our intention to return at a suitable later date as in normal circumstances it is a lovely hotel in an excellent location

Cons: When we arrived after an overnight flight, feeling very tired, the hotel computer was down and we had to wait for a coup[e of hours in the lobby for it to be fixed. The hotel should have made some sort of small gesture to compensate us for this. Also the breakfast included thawed frozen fruit which had turned rancid one day. The next hotel in Bergen had FRESH fruit. like melon, cantaloupe and kiwi. was was cut up and delicious.

Cons: The hotel is disputing us paying for a night we could not stay because of our urgent departure back to Australia because of the corona virus. Taking advantage of us under the circumstances is very bad publicity.

Cons: The towel I used in the AM looked like someone had previosly used it for toilet paper. Grossed me out. Not something you'd expect at a higher $ hotel.

Pros: Nice view from the window. A lot of mirrors in the room. More than enough hangers. Tea kettle. Free wifi in the room. Nice lighting.

Cons: They gave us a twin bed although we are a couple. No slippers, no bathrobe, and very few bathroom supplies (no cotton swabs, no cotton discs, just your basic shower cap, shampoo and lotion). Inconvenient bathtub/shower arrangement, but they never are convenient in hotels for some reason. The restaurant the consierge recommended was not very good.
