Pros: The pick-up area was severely understaffed, but the guys who were there were extra courteous and worked hard to help me quickly.Cons: It seemed the guy at the front desk didn't know what kind of van I would be offered. I don't know why the actual rental make/model has to be a mystery right up to the point of getting the keys. Also, the pick-up area was way understaffed.

Pros: car was ok. Location service was unusual. First time asked to provide insurance proof(did not have). Settled for name and coverages. Also first time that I had to agree to a $200 advance deposit. Why?Cons: Check in was ok, although not very professional. Return was a big disappointment. Placed was closed(Sunday) however nobody told us they would be closed. Took a while to read a sign that said to drop keys on side of building. Walked around until we found drop. Had planned to have staff order us a cab, but no one there. search online for a taxi took four phone calls. Next day (Monday) I get a call from Jackie that they did not find the keys. I told her I had dropped them as instructed and she said they were not in the drop. She said she would look for them. It is now 3pm and I have not heard back.

Pros: The staff was friendly. They didn't have what I requested so I got a free upgrade. Return was seamless and quick.Cons: The pick-up explanation felt a bit rushed. He was throwing a lot of add-ons and numbers at me and I didn't really get a chance to process everything. The insurance I bought before pick-up was not through Enterprise. Theirs is different. That needs to made more clear.

Cons: The check oil light came on in the very expensive premium SUV I rented. I had to exit and stop at a gas station to check the oil. The oil was not even touching the full tube. It took two quarts of oil at $10 to make it right. Not a big deal, but a minor inconvenience. I thought Enterprise would simply reimburse me the $20 and make it right - they didn’t! A very pretty move... We were told by the represent that the only the store manager could make that call and he would call us to discuss. They never did. Terrible customer service a real shame to lose a customer over $20...

Cons: Pick up took forever. Car had hardly any gas in it when I picked it up. When I asked if I could drop off at airport you said you’d charge me $100 drop fee. I offered to pay $50 as a compromise but you said no way. Will not ever use enterprise again.

Cons: The car smelled like smoke and I went back to the counter to exchange it but they had a long line and I couldnt wait. It game me a headache every time I drove it. I know Budget has a fine for smoking should be a deterrent but make sure that the Budget employees who clean and check-in/out the car aren’t making it smell like smoke. A headache is miserable and was not appreciated especially for the steep price. Other than the smell, the car was very clean as fas as vacuuming, etc.

Pros: Drop off was fine and the car itself was clean and ready to go.Cons: When I arrived to get the car they said I had already picked it up but they had actually given the car I rented to someone else and it took longer than it should have to get me on my way. Also, they tried to charge me a deposit after I left and never discussed this with me.

Cons: I arrived to the airport 11:30pm with a reservation, and NO ONE was present at the booth or at the parking lot. I waited until almost midnight and had to talk to other company and rent a car there. Sixt was open and they made an excellent overtime work to get me a car. Once on my car I tried to call Hertz and of course no body picked up the phone, but put me on hokd saying "we currently have many calls, please hold".

Communication is keyPros: The customer service reps for the pick-up and return locations were very kind and helpful.Cons: Payless allowed me to reserve a car but didn't tell me that their shuttle wasn't working. I waited for 30 minutes before attempting to get a new car rental with Avis and noticed the sign regarding Payless customers speaking with Avis reps for car rental info. Then they didn't have the car I wanted and I had to drive a Jeep Wrangler in a storm. I will not rent from Payless again.

Pros: The person at the Washington Street pick up location was very nice and helpful. We also really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the shuttle driver.Cons: We were traveling as a family of four with a young child, an infant, and lots of gear. They sent us to pick up the car at a location far from the airport, but when we got there, the staff couldn’t understand why we had been sent there and told us we should have gotten the car at the airport.

Cons: Avis tried to sell me on almost $1K worth of car insurance despite purchasing with Allianz via Kayak. They said they didn't see I had any coverage - I had an email saying otherwise. Extremely confusing and terrifying not understanding if I was covered or not. There was also only 1 person and a giant line started forming (it was 4pm...seem like a high traffic time so felt odd), so I didn't feel like I could even take a moment to better understand what I was paying for and waiving because I was with the ONLY person available. I was also sent to the wrong space number. And I wasn't told how to open the trunk of the car, which sounds stupid, but this one was hidden under one of the backlights (??? horrible design) so I stood at the car for 20 minutes pushing random areas of the trunk like a moron trying to open it. This is the 2nd terrible experience I've had with both Avis and Kayak. Last time ever - others beware. Check out other rental dealers

Pros: The car itself was a wonderful ride.Cons: The pick up was a nightmare and it was all over me using a debit card. The first person I spoke to refused to help me because I didn't have a Major credit card even though it stated online you can use a debit card with a return flight. Finally, after an hour a nice lady helped me and got me out the door with my car.

Pros: The car was great but they didn’t give it to me at my quoted price. I had to call customer service and am still trying to fix it.Cons: Horrible pickup experience!Waited an hour past my reso for the ONE worker to clean a car for the renter ahead of me, rent it to them, check in another group who just wanted to extend their rent, then go back to the garage &clean/vacuum the car I would be renting! Again, she was the ONLY PESON THERE!

Dirty van!Pros: The Indianapolis airport rental car experience is always easy. No bus, no shuttle, no hassle. It's arguably the best big airport rental car experience in the country.Cons: We rented an Avis 12-person passenger van. It was filthy and had two major dents on the outside. I was embarrassed to put my guests in this van and was told I had no alternative van to choose from. For the price ($500+) for three days, I was extremely disappointed. Avis is better than this.

Pros: Nice people, easy process. We were renting a van for a road trip and they let us our car there for a week while we took our trip in the rental. It's close to where the airport used to be, not so much to where the airport is now, but we weren't flying into town so that didn't bother us any.

customer service lies!!Cons: The employee at pick up was told that I was denying the insurance because I bought it online when I paid for the rental. I don't know if it was a mistake or not but I had to pay more at pick up and she said that it was a deposit and that it would be returned to my account upon drop off. When I dropped off the van I was told that it was for insurance and it would not be returned. I am still trying to get my money back for that through there 1-800 number.

Overall I had a great experience.Cons: I believe that i dropped my drivers license in the car that i was driving and have been trying to talk to someone to see if it is in the lost and found and have found that your customer service in that department is inadequate.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful at pick up. The vehicle was clean and ran very well.Cons: There was no one at the drop off point at the airport at 6:00 p.m. on a Sunday. There was no communication given to us as what we should do with the vehicle. We found a Dropbox and put the keys in but that was it! That process could definitely be improved via text or email or some other form of communication

Pros: No staff at the counter when we arrived, a card said to use the kiosk and no kiosk to be seen. When we brought the car back there was no staff around and this was at 4:30 PM.Cons: Get anybody to be at your place of business or close down. And by the way we noticed that there was a big plug in the right rear tire. That is very dangerous in my opinion, and no spare along with no staff.

The agent couldn’t explain why.

Pros: No issues with staff friendlinessCons: They didn’t do the walk around the vehicle when I took it out and since I was in a hurry with lots of luggage, I forgot to do it. They just handed me the keys at the desk and pointed where the car is. But they walked around when I brought it back and claimed that a pebble off the street has chipped the paint off the hood.

Pros: There was no one at the desk. Walked out to the garage instead of the person helping me they sent me back inside. Moreover I didn’t get the size car I requested and the car has low tire pressure and need and oil change. Because we kept getting notifications on the dash.
