Pros: The car that we rented was clean and ran really well.
Cons: The prices that they offer online is not what they actually offer once you go to pick up the car. They over charge their insurance and add so many fees apart from the regular car and insurance fees. Our price went from $60 online to $160 (picked up the car). Plus the deposit fee of $200. NEVER AGAIN

Cons: The check in counter was slow and the girl gave a space number to find my car which did not exist. We reserved a mid-size SUV got a Buick Encore which is at best a compact and only had room for one suitcase. The drop off attendant said it was a compact car but they would not credit the difference.

There’s a reason Thrifty is cheapest.
Pros: Car was clean. Car drove well. No complaints about car itself.
Cons: Wait time in line at pickup was over 1 hour. Cars not ready and available for assignment. Staff very slow. Staff not communicative about delays. Only 2 staff working Friday evening. 1 staff was a trainee. Customers were actually leaving the line and going to other rental companies.

Car issue resolved easily
Pros: After getting on highway, I noticed rear bumper flapping in the wind and stopped to push back in. Didn't get far before it happened again. Stopped and called roadside assistance who was very helpful and together we decided it best to turn around and trade the car. Super helpful attendant quickly got me into a different car yet before departing, I noted the front bumper was very loose! She quickly got me another car and 3rd time was a charm....the experience was seamless from there.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not have any issues when checking out the vehicle and also when I returned the vehicle. I will be sure to always use Thrifty Car Rental for all of my future traveling. Thank you!

NEVER RENT FROM THRIFTY EVER!!!
Pros: NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: WE DID NOT GET THE VEHICLE WE ORDERED WE COULD NEVER GET A HOLD OF ANYONE WHO COULD HELP US THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER FOR ANY THRIFTY LOCATION THEY ALL ARE DISCONNECTED AND THEY SEND YOUR CALL TO INDIA THEY TOLD US THEY FIXED OUR RESERVATION AND WE COULD PICK UP THE VEHICLE WE ORDERED IN ANOTHER STATE ON THE WAY TO OUR DESTINATION, WE GET THERE AND THERE IS NOT ONLY NO RESERVATION, BUT THERE ISNT ISN'T THE VEHICLE THEY SWORE UP AND DOWN WAS THERE AT THAT FACILTY!!! BIGGEST LET DOWN OF A COMPANY EVER!!! RUINED OUR ENTIRE VACATION!!!! FILLED OUT A COMPLAINT, WAS TOLD SOMEONE WOULD CONTACT US WITHIN 20 HOURS.... IT HAS BEEN 4 DAYS AND NOTHING!!!!!!

I Got Screwed
Pros: It was easy to place the reservation and for kayak to take my money.
Cons: It was easy for kayak to take my money and leave me without a rental car. Got to the Indianapolis International Airport expecting to pick up a van. Thrifty and all other rental agencies wouldn’t give me the time of day. Leaving me stranded with the option to phone a friend. Reasons stated are as follows: Under 25, No major credit card, No loopholes in their policies that allowed an Active Duty Service member to rent while in leave. I needed orders stating that I needed a rental vehicle for military purposes. They have me a “you’re SOL buddy” kind of attitude. Good luck to anyone who deals with such people on a daily basis.

Cons: Concierge style desk at cars. Just give a parking spot # and let us go. Should not need escort to car and should not feel the need to tip associate in garage to get rental car.

Pros: Easy access, clean and comfortable car. Friendly staff.
Cons: Short staffed both when I arrived and dropped the car off. Led to waiting both times that lasted longer than usual.
