Pros: No doubt, the place is beautiful. Such lovely aesthetic and furniture, beautiful rooftop, two pools (tends to have girls Insta profiling 50% of the time FYI!), some of the staff are wonderful and the food, both room service and attached restaurant, Dona Lola, is very good. Cons: It is a small hotel and for the price you can not expect perfect breakfasts or fast checkin. Staff spoke english if imperfectly.

Pros: Decor and furnishing was amazing!
Cons: Location is in Getsemani ( in the middle of the local district and right next to a salsa club). Stay here if you want an authentic experience and don’t mind dancing to salsa until midnight

Cons: We really wanted to love this hotel, it is so pretty. But it's hard when you don't have a proper sleep or shower for 5 days. Firstly, 3 days out of 5, we had no hot water for showers. None. Tried in the morning and afternoon, nothing. Totally cold, and it's off season. Second, their staff can be quite abrupt, not all but some, took a little getting used to, certainly the reception is hit and miss. Rooftop team generally pretty good. Room service was also really hit and miss: we had used glasses and two kettles, clearly visible, left for 2 days, and some days we got pool towels, some days not. It could have been cleaned better too and the time she turned up were weird, 4pm one day. Mainly, third: THE NOISE. This is easily the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in, even compared to airport hotels: it is ridiculous. There is zero sound insulation between rooms and even being a floor above and slightly near the kitchen, we could hear them easily and they play music until 1130 or midnight, every night, start again 6am. We had a noisy guest on his phone, ditto his t.v., could hear everything and he was the floor below. Any guests walking past our room, anything. You are also right next to two quite loud bars/music clubs and the hotel is not equipped to keep the noise out. We were out late ish most nights, but when you have arrived from Cuba after a 5am flight and just want to sleep at 10pm, no dice. The bathroom window doesn't actually have any glass in it and half of our wall (room 9) was made out of glass doors with no seal. I'd try and avoid any ground floor rooms and rooms 8,9,10, with the higher number rooms being more secluded. Overall, this place needs some money spent on it if they are going to charge what they are charging. They also tax and tip you from loving the place, with 8% tax, 10% tips on everything and 8000 per day on top of the bill for a tourism tax!
7,9 Good
Pros: Casa Lola is in a perfect location for Getsemani. You can walk to absolutely everything. Very safe street, lots of restaurants and bars, great nightlife. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Good rooftop area with multiple pools. Staff were friendly and did their best to help.
Cons: You could hear everything from the room next door and the breakfast area was incredibly hot as there is no airflow in the courtyard and hot plastic tablecloths.

Pros: I fell in love with the design of this building and the decor. This place isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience. I never wanted to leave the atrium! Breakfast was always delicious and the staff cheerful.
Cons: There is no bar by the pool. The pools are small but AMAZING. The views are great from its rooftop. Ordered a few drinks via the guest phone but both times the order was wrong and the wait very long. It’s the only bad thing I can say about this place. Otherwise, the entire experience was amazing. It’s a place I’ll never forget. Highly recommend.

Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly. We weren’t happy with the size of our room and they were very happy to upgrade us to a much nicer room at a small cost. The new room way exceeded our expectations.
Cons: Be warned that the standard room is basic and small. I don’t think the photos on booking.com reflect this room tier, so it’s misleading.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice building and great location. Nice view from the rooftop. I very much enjoyed the meal I had in their restaurant although I found it overpriced.
Cons: The room was very small and noisy - right across the kitchen. Be aware that many rooms are inside facing and if you end up on the ground floor there will be quite a bit of traffic and noise. Also, your room might not be ready at 3 p.m. and do not expect an apology or gesture. Bathroom needs painting and deep cleaning.
7,0 Good
Pros: It was a beautiful and very special hotel, originally being a home. It was amazing. The staff was friendly and the food was very good.
Cons: One of our rooms were not ready even if we arrived after 15.00, which was check in time, also being a late check in time. Our daughter was not feeling well that day so that was unfortunate not to have the room. We did not have to wait very long but still. Cleaning could have been better.
7,0 Good
Pros: everything was above average.
Cons: on the day of the departure, we asked the lobby to call a taxi with a hope that a taxi company which has a connection to the hotel would be more reliable and up-scale. But the taxi that the hotel called was the smallest, filthiest, and oldest taxi that I have ever taken in Colombia.

Pros: Beautiful property overall, could walk everywhere within the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Hot water didn’t work, tv didn’t work, pool is very small and only had 4 lounge chairs. Rooftop had more seating but jacuzzi is too hot for Cartagena weather. Breakfast a bit lacking as bread was stale and juice was not freshly squeezed. Twin rooms on the ground floor also not good as bathrooms open up to floors above so you can hear every word of other hotel guests in their bathrooms above.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Placed in the historic centre. Nice design in common areas
Cons: Rooms are leading to common areas with complete lack of privacy, isolation between rooms is absolutely non existent, I was next to a communicated room with a thin door, we virtually shared the night with our neighbours. Staff quite unfriendly and stubborn. Not a place to stay when in Cartagena, choose Santa Clara or Santa Teresa hotels

Pros: The hotel staff is very nice, they were very helpful, they can assist booking day trips to the islands or anywhere else you need to take a day tour to get to. The rooms are no frills, just a bed, desk, and TV, but they are very clean. The maid cleans the floors, makes the bed, and brings fresh towels every day. The rooms each have an air conditioner, which is essential in the heat of Cartagena. It sounds strange that there isn't hot water in the shower, but it's normal in northern Colombia. It is so hot out that you wouldn't want a hot shower, and the water isn't freezing cold, more like room temperature, so don't be surprised if it's your first visit. There is a filtered water cooler on every floor, so you don't need to buy bottled water. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast every morning, fresh fruit, arepas, eggs, juice, coffee, etc., it's enough to get you going in the morning. The price is right, very reasonable rates for a conveniently located, friendly hotel. The hotel is just a couple blocks from the walled old city and also a couple blocks from the pretty areas of Getsemaní.

Guests are not welcome past the front gate so avoid meeting anyone in town.
Stay at a hostel for less money, better service and a friendly atmosphere.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean hotel, super helpful and friendly staff, one of the better breakfasts we had in Colombia. Rooms are bright and spacious. Located inbetween the historical center and Getsemani, plenty of restaurants around the corner. Everything well in walking distance.
Cons: Beds were ok, not the most comfortable (the single bed of our room was plain old, double bed was alright).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice old-school hotel in a great location, not bang in the touristy areas but a short walk to the walled city and Getsemani. Good buffet breakfast and pleasant staff.
Cons:

Pros: Hotel located in the very center of the old town so you can easily reach any historical attraction walking. At the breakfast apart from usual options you can find in any European hotel there is very tasty local food and a lot of fruits. Everything is super fresh. In the bar you can order coctails which are maybe the best I've ever tried. And the personnel is very nice. They helped us a lot during the stay, recommended places to go, gave us late check-out, and really helped when we were leaving to another place in Colombia and had problems with bus tickets. Fantastic staff of NH hotel is one of my best memories in Colombia.

Cons: The hotel could improve the status of some of the rooms that have a view on the street next to the hotel (& not on the Torre del Reloj). Those rooms are a bit noisy in the night and are not in the best conditions. The walls and some of the furniture is a bit old. Overall, amazing experience!

Pros: We had a room with 2 beds. It was quite spacious. A small fridge, TV and towels were provided. Everything in our room was so far clean. The area around the hotel is not a nice one. During day time a lot of people are gattering around the hotel. I assume its an area were most of locals live. The breakfast buffet was very good. They had scrambeld eggs, arepas, saussage, fresh cut fruits, coffee, tea and also heavily sugared cornflakes :) Here a little granola would have been nice but overall everything was very delicious.
