Wonderful Gym,small but again, Wilber went above and beyond to assist.Finest Hotel in Latin America without a doubt.To illustrate a point,I was staying on a split schedule due to availability,somehow I was given a suite overlooking the pool which normally costs thousands, for the price of a classic room...just because.Pure heaven!

Pros: The hotel is beautiful and in a wonderful location inside the walled city. our room was very basic, in the wing by the pool. it was really nothing special - looked like any room with 2 beds but the beds were so comfortable. our friends stayed in a suite in the convent area and it was really beautiful. upgrade if you can!

Pros: The hotel is positioned well, with nicely decorated rooms, the view of the sea is nice. The Lobby is poor with mildew and mold odor, I was in the 16 floor, the corridor stinks, there is a permanent smell of burnt frying oil, of fried fish, fried eggs at any given minute of the day. The same bad smell hits you when you go to eat breakfast. If you have allergies or have a bronchial issues you will get sick from this air quality. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone no ever go back there

Pros: Breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of choice. All staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. There is a stair lift between mezzanine levels that was very useful . Bedrooms were spacious and had a balcony looking over seafront. Plenty of small cafes and restaurants in the area although the restaurants in the hotel were good.

Pros: Breakfast was very good - it was supposed to be included, but we were still charged. The view was outstanding - close walk to beach. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough with clean sheets/towels. Elevators were quick which was nice since we were on a top floor. Place to clean your feet with water after the beach right outside door to hotel. AC worked great.

Pros: The hotel is location great. Many shop and restaurant in the area. The beach is a block away but I wouldn’t recommend it. It didn’t look great. This hotel is ok for a night or two.

Pros: The hotel staff is very nice, they were very helpful, they can assist booking day trips to the islands or anywhere else you need to take a day tour to get to. The rooms are no frills, just a bed, desk, and TV, but they are very clean. The maid cleans the floors, makes the bed, and brings fresh towels every day. The rooms each have an air conditioner, which is essential in the heat of Cartagena. It sounds strange that there isn't hot water in the shower, but it's normal in northern Colombia. It is so hot out that you wouldn't want a hot shower, and the water isn't freezing cold, more like room temperature, so don't be surprised if it's your first visit. There is a filtered water cooler on every floor, so you don't need to buy bottled water. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast every morning, fresh fruit, arepas, eggs, juice, coffee, etc., it's enough to get you going in the morning. The price is right, very reasonable rates for a conveniently located, friendly hotel. The hotel is just a couple blocks from the walled old city and also a couple blocks from the pretty areas of Getsemaní.

Pros: Hotel located in the very center of the old town so you can easily reach any historical attraction walking. At the breakfast apart from usual options you can find in any European hotel there is very tasty local food and a lot of fruits. Everything is super fresh. In the bar you can order coctails which are maybe the best I've ever tried. And the personnel is very nice. They helped us a lot during the stay, recommended places to go, gave us late check-out, and really helped when we were leaving to another place in Colombia and had problems with bus tickets. Fantastic staff of NH hotel is one of my best memories in Colombia.

Pros: The service of all the NH staff was perfect. They have done their best to satisfy all our requests. We have given them feedback and they were acting promptly on it improving our stay and making us feeling at ease with the staff. - Welcoming, nice and professional - Good food and service for the breakfast. - Amazing toilets & showers. - Great view on "Torre del Reloj" and the port behind. - Amazing pool on top of the hotel.

Pros: The location is quite good in centre of Bocagrande. Even if you want to go to the old town a lot you can do it for 2500 pesos by colectivo, or bus, or Transcaribe BRT. I found breakfast adequate. I liked the largish pool on fourth floor. Finally the price was lower than other hotels.

Pros: Honestly the only thing good about this hotel is the location. Everything else is just horrible. It’s a low budget hotel but that doesn’t mean the condition have to be this way. The Lobby has no AC , I asked for a room with ocean view , I was given a room with the view of a wall. The rooms have no towels , no phones , no safety box. THEYRE INFESTED WITH ROACHES. The food is greasy. The elevators are dirty. The lobby smells like FISH. The towels they give you can barely wrap around your hips. The sheets are stained . They close the Pool at 6pm ..... like how does that make any sense whatsoever ? It was such a let down staying here. I didn’t expect 5 star service but at least a decent stay . On our second night we arrived around 12 pm to find a huge roach on one of the beds. Although seeing baby roaches prior my dad didn’t let me tell management (for whatever reason) but upon arriving and seeing that huge roach he killed it and said to relax it was our last night . But then another one in the bathroom and TWO HUGE ROACHES ON THE BED I SLEPT WITH MY SON . That’s when i said nope and went to the lobby. The guy was very understanding and offered to switch our rooms, he offered the one in front of our old one ... i said no. Then offered one on the 14th floor. Which was in way better conditions than the 10th floor. As soon as we switches and settled .... another roach on the wall. This place is disgusting and in need of serious renovations and maintenance. Will not be coming back
