Pros: Clean, comfortable, lovely breakfast. Lovely place to stay & made very welcome by owners.
Cons: Maybe a short extension lead would be good so can dry hair in front of mirror more easily. Very small thing only.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for visiting the city, while atmosphere & setting of country quiet. Being near bus route meant we could get into town without having to fuss about parking. The owners, Morag & Steve, first class in greeting & hosting. The building is extremely comfortable (especially bed), with charming decor. Breakfast was great - & served with wit and friendliness. Highly recommend.
Cons: Hard to think of anything negative, except suggest a tiny improvement of one brighter lamp in the room, for the ease of more mature eyesight?

Pros: Free parking as part of the hotel a real bonus these days especially in Dundee where it is generally difficult and can be £10 a night.. The excellent breakfast is wide ranging with a buffet and freshly cooked options. The staff are excellent, polite and very helpful
Cons: To be honest although the breakfast was good, we found the restaurant for an evening meal disappointing with a limited choice. Although to be fair what we had was well cooked. Otherwise it would have been a 10.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Many of the staff smiled in the passing. Enjoyed use of the swimming pool. Bedroom and bathroom seemed newly refurbished. Modern and calm.
Cons: Husband found bathroom mirror too far way when shaving. I found it easier to put on my make up at big mirror in bedroom but lighting too low. Had to ask for bathrobes and shower cap. One bathrobe arrived but had to ask again for other one and shower cap. A minor criticism of really no importance because we were looked after extremely well.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Very little. Bed comfy enough.
Cons: Firstly its advertised as a hotel on booking.com when it's actually a guest house/b&b. Check in was no frills nor smiles. Room was adequate but of relatively cheap looking furniture. Bed was comfy though. Bathroom only had one towel for 2 guests...couldn't find the owner when we realised at about 10pm. Shower door was swinging loose from its roller track. Breakfast was a huge disappointment....bacon incinerated, yet everything else seriously undercooked (toast, sausage, poached eggs, tomatoes etc).

Pros: Clean, comfortable, well presented, adequately appointed, complete tea and coffee, biscuits tray, complimentary bottle of water-all room and en-suite facilities in working order, well maintained and decorated

The bed was comfortable and the tv was a good size. Food in the restaurant was delicious and very filling, both when I had dinner and breakfast. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
Cons: The wifi wasn't that great. I don't know if it was due to the location of my room or its general reliability, but my phone would lose connection now and then. On my laptop, it seemed a little slow loading some pages but it was free wifi so can't complain too much.

Pros: Big individual room. Laundry service. Friendly staff. Great location.
Cons: Everything was great.
7,0 Good
Pros: Card key. Staffs are kind. There's a kitchen! Good location. The bed is good for me.
Cons: There are two toilets and one shower in my floor. If lots of guests come, it'll be not enough. The shower is very bad to use... Not hostel's problem, but I met one bad guy. When I say hi to him in the kitchen, he said, don't say hi to me. After a moment, white group came and said hi. He enjoyed talking much. It was in kitchen while I was making. So I felt uncomfortable during the time. He was staying in the kitchen for long. So I didn't want to use anymore... Is he a guest or a staff? He has a bit long hair. Staffs also use kitchen, so I don't understand.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The building has been beautifully restored. My room was a decent size with a very comfortable bed and tasteful furniture (and a fireplace). Clean bathroom with a large, hot shower. Right in the centre of town but not noisy when I was there.
7,9 Good
Pros: Perfect location right in the heart of Dundee. Basic (as advertised) but comfortable.
Cons: Awkward conversation on check-in as the receptionist demanded ID that I didn’t have. On checking back it is buried in the small print but I was already on the train to Dundee when I booked and I don’t carry extra ID when travelling in the UK. Fortunately common sense prevailed.

Cons: Loved the hotel, but the duvet on the single bed in room 4, was really very heavy. Made turning over difficult.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable beds and great breakfast.
Cons: Railway is nearby and could be distracting as trains pass every 15 mins from early in morning.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Safety! Family-friendly hosts that treat you like 'family'.
Cons: Beds have castors - suggested to owners to put castor cups on these to prevent the beds from moving whilst guests are asleep :-)
6,3 Good
Pros: The property was fine, good view and a nice looking room. The owner was also flexible over the breakfast time.
Cons: I was told the room wasnt paid for and had to pay at the property, but I realised I had already paid so paid twice and went back. The owner admitted it was his mistake, but to be fair to him the virtual card process didnt seem very good at alerting the owner the room was paid for. I hope my refund goes through soon. The window in the bedroom was open upon arrival and it's october. We were a bit chilly, I think the heating could have been on more often.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location was good as was comfort and cleanliness. Nice people too
Cons: Nothing, all good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very comfortable and spacious room on the top floor with a great view of the ocean. You could see the Carnoustie Golf Links in the distance. The room was larger than most B&Bs in Scotland. There is plenty of parking and you are only about 1 mile from the golf course and about a 5 minute walk from downtown. Cons: Facilities
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Arbroath smokies for breakfast. Superb! The location is 100 yards from the sea and startlingly beautiful.
Cons: There was an issue with WiFi, but the whole of Carnoustie was having issues - even the card machines were down, so can't blame the hotel!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great Breakfast. Excellent location.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This was our third stay at the Station Hotel. It met our expectations as usual. Excellent young staff in the bar and dining room who were very attentive and went out of their way to ensure good service. Breakfast is really good, and our Number 1 out of a considerable number of places we have stayed in Scotland, including some 'big' hotel chains. Really generous portions, good quality produce that is cooked to order and is hot and very nicely presented. Bedroom was comfy with a large double bed.
Cons: Our only issue was that the sink was not in the bathroom, which was rather cramped, but in the bedroom area. There was a large underused cupboard that could have been used to extend the bathroom area and keep all the facilities together.
