Pros: The hostess, Rachael, must be a mind reader. We seldom saw her except whenever we had a question or wanted something she appeared out of nowhere and provided us with whatever we wanted. It must be what it is like to have a personal maid/butler always available to help but never in your way. (Don't really know because we don't have servants.) Next time I visit, I'll plan to stay as long as they'll have me.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Superb stay at this delightful, well located B&B with an excellent, spacious & well equipped bedroom providing marvellous views of the Firth. The super king size bed was very comfortable & the wi-fi signal coped with the demand of numerous devices. Rachel went out of her way to make us feel welcome and showed interest in all her guests. John cooked delicious breakfasts during our stay and the range of options was very good. Would highly recommend Sunny Brae for a warm, relaxing break in Nairn.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This Bed and Breakfast is a gem. Outstanding location overlooking the Moray Firth on a clear sunny morning, is just an uplifting start to the day. Breakfast is excellent. Service is second to none. The facilities are spotlessly clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, and excellent sleep quality. There are lots of little touches that make this bed and breakfast stand out from the crowd. The owners offer such a warm welcome, discreetly looking after all your service needs, and offering great tips of the local area. I can’t recommend this location more highly. You could spend a lot more money staying elsewhere, but not enjoy the excellent welcome, first class food and accommodation, and value for money. Best place to stay in Nairn.
Cons: It is very difficult to say anything other than the venue is very special with a superb dual aspect dining room, bright, light bedrooms, and cleaner than home. Absolutely no dislikes whatsoever.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Rachael was so helpful and thoughtful as I was attending a funeral. The room was spotless and very.comfortable . Lovely breakfast.
Cons: I couldn't stay longer
Excellent 10,0
Pros: the total experience
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Perfect location with parking and beach views. Electric charging points recently installed. Very professionally managed by Rachel-nothing too much trouble. Rooms were spotless, breakfasts delicious. Can't fault it.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was absolutely delicious, lovely dining room with the most amazing view out over the Moray Firth towards the Cromarty Firth. Rachel is the most amazing host, the establishment was perfectly clean and facilities were excellent, I can suggest no improvements.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfasts were generous and beautifully cooked, and really tasty; compliments to the chef! There was also a healthy continental option, with cereals berries and yogurt followed by toast. The location of Sunny Braes is perfect with stunning sea-views, and also near the town centre for restaurants. The owner Rachel was very friendly, always on hand to answer questions and extremely helpful. She made our stay most enjoyable. This B&B is highly recommended.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good choice of breakfast options. Every detail taken care of.
Cons: Liked everything.

Cons: N/A
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast exceptional, top quality local produce cooked to perfection, also fresh fruit and yoghurt available
Cons: Faultless
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The very warm welcome made us feel at home right from the start. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the semi tropical garden, so sheltered, it had palm trees, bamboo and shrubs similar to gardens that we are familiar with on the English Riviera, at Torquay!
Cons: Our short break was just what we needed. We really enjoyed the feeling of finally getting back to a more normal life after the Covid restrictions. Thanks to the way we were treated there was nothing to dislike. We slept well, although at first, the beds felt firmer than we are used to at home.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Superb welcome from Sheelagh, such a lovely lady! We had a ground floor room which was a good size with everything you could need provided and a MASSIVE bed. The cooked breakfast both mornings was sublime! Great selection of cereals, continental choices and lovely fruit platter available too. Delicious marmalade at the table. A lovely location just a short walk to town or the beach in the opposite direction. Would definitely stay again when we go back to Nairn
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Lovely facility, well maintained, ran by lovely people who couldn't do enough for you. Close for walks to the beach, and set in a quiet location. Rooms extremely comfortable and clean with facilities you would expect in a room. WiFi worked, so a real bonus for the teenage daughter. Parking for car at property and additional off street parking if required.

Cons: Coffee machine operating outside room, could be noisy.

Pros: Right on the beach. Our room was spacious. The breakfast, which was included was wonderful. Very quiet and tranquil. Michelle and Ryan were sweet, knowledgeable and helpful.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: the atmosphere, the location, the service.
Cons: nothing .
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Harvey & Marlin are great! very helpful and accommodating! despite arriving late for our afternoon tea (more like evening tea) they’ve made us feel very welcome and we had an exceptionally beautiful evening
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The building looked breathtakingly magnificent as you drove through the gates - architecturally superb in a large, peaceful parkland setting (ideal for dogs). The interior was equally fine and the location proved to be ideal for both Culloden Battlefield and for Inverness itself, close but on the quiet outskirts of the town. The whole staff team were exceptionally attentive, friendly and sympathetic - nothing was too much trouble. The dining-room and drawing-room were a delight, the bedroom and bathroom very spacious, spotless and well warmed, and the food was of a very high standard, at breakfast as well as dinner.
Cons: Everything was wonderful but I still thought that staying there was inordinately expensive. However, such quality of venue and food is rarely found, and it is backed up with superb service. My only negative comment would be that I might have struggled with the menu if I had stayed longer than 3 nights as there were not enough choices for pescatarians (vegetarian plus fish) like me and the menu did not change, though the complimentary starter of warmed breads and accompanying spreads was really good and much appreciated.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: stunning location and such an amazing history
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything. Wonderful staff. Beautiful with history is an understatement and the food for dinner and breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. I also met several very educated and interesting guests.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Spa was nice and views from the hotel were lovely
Cons: No fridge in room, service at breakfast very slow
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We loved our night at the golf view hotel, it has fantastic leisure facilities with a great outdoor hot tub and beautiful views from the pool. The room was super comfortable and really enjoyed the selection of teas especially the roobios and rhubarb. The steak meal was exceptional and the restaurant atmosphere was very relaxing. The breakfast is freshly prepared and has a fantastic selection, the smoked haddock and poached eggs where really good. Nairn itself was very nice with a lovely sea walk right from the hotel.
Cons: Breakfast service was a little slow
Okay 5,0
Pros: location is wonderful. Room was comfortable with an excellent bathroom
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great staff, beautiful hotel with great views. Good parking
Cons: Dinner slightly disappointing, nothing exceptional compared with other 3 star hotels. Charged twice , £465, still waiting for refund
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Wonderful location
Cons: Dreadful entrance foyer carpeting - for hotel of this standard the carpet design and colour - dreadful
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Excellent location. I had a room with a superb sea view. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Both dinner & breakfast were excellent.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Gorgeous hotel, friendly and professional staff. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Outdoor area by the spa/swim area is a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine looking over the beach.
Cons: The swimming/spa indoor area could do with a bit of attention. In particular the steam room I found unwelcoming. Small things like sinking drains or grouting needing replacing. Otherwise the area itself has a lovely view. The staff in the Restaurant area seemed quite stretched with only one person behind the bar, but the service was still good nonetheless.

Good 6,0
Pros: Staff friendly good price good food
Cons: Needs total renovation
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location, staff and comfort were all good as was breakfast. Despite being in his own and busy, the man on reception welcomed us and explained everything well.
Cons: Despite arriving before 8pm and being residents, we were told the kitchen was closed and we weren't able to have dinner in the hotel. Odd and strange so we went elsewhere. The shower in the bathroom was also difficult to use and a bit inefficient. Either dangerously hot or unpleasantly7 cold. It took a bit of adjusting to avoid scalding.
Good 7,0
Pros: Staff were great, location was good
Cons: Room was a bit dated6
Good 7,0

Good 7,0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and well served.
Cons: Staircase to the rooms looks worn and unkempt.
Good 7,0
Pros: Good breakfast location on main road no view difficult d
Cons: Difficult to get luggage up narrow stairs no lounge or breakfast room
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Really lovely room, with a huge and very comfortable bed. The best breakfast we had on our trip. Friendly and welcoming staff. Only there for one night but would happily have stayed longer.
Cons: Bathroom was small. It was pretty loud when anyone walked along the corridor outside the room.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: location, friendly, comfortable and accommodating.
Cons: vegan menu could have been better.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Every was excellent so good I've booked again on August
Cons: Nothing
Good 7,0
Pros: Spacious bedroom area, the shower was good and warm. Bed super comfy!
Cons: Bathroom bit tight for space
Good 6,0
Pros: For the price the room was adequate and the bed was very big. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast which was made to order.
Cons: The en-suite was very small. The housekeeper forgot to leave a soap bar in the bathroom and the bin in there was just an empty shell - no container inside. Having a room (7) overlooking the main road wasn't ideal but there isn't much traffic overnight so not a major problem. Light pollution in the summer mornings could be an issue for light sleepers as the curtains don't cover the window. Blackout blinds would be a useful addition.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Nice little hotel, bar for the football, friendly staff and bar members, perfect for what is needed if working away. As I had to be away before breakfast, I was made a packed lunch to take away. Fantastic I thought.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: It is a pity when special dietary needs pre-advised and noted at reception are not shared with the restaurant nor kitchen.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very helpful staff .good atmosphere plenty parking facilities
Cons: Nil
Excellent 8,0
Pros: There were comfy chairs in the room, so we didn't have to sit on the bed. The hotel went out of their way to provide us with a vegan breakfast, which was great. There were USB ports for charging phone/Kindle. It was a good price and very handy for our trip to Culloden. It was easy to find.
Cons: There was a bottle of hair and bodywash on the sink, so we used our own hand soap. We could hear people in adjoining rooms, but that is to be expected to some extent.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: .Value for money was good. Good location just outside city centre. Friendly staff and made sure we got breakfast before an early departure.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: staff very friendly from the start.very helpful. room was spacious and very clean and comfortable .was in a good area for visiting different areas around Inverness 😊
Cons: nothing
Excellent 8,0
Pros: everything you need to rest after the trip
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent rooms and facilities that were very clean and comfortable. Peter was very accommodating and friendly, and made a great breakfast as well. Food was very delicious and gave us a good boost to start the day. Highly recommended if you're near Inverness, are driving, and would like a quiet, chill place to spend the night.
Cons: Floors and walls were a little thin and sounds/footsteps can be heard from time to time, but it is still acceptable. Many stairs and doors to climb/open so it might be a bit of a struggle if you're carrying a lot of luggages

Poor 1,0
Cons: Breakfast was lukewarm at best and the woman who checked us in was very patronising when i said I didn't realise there was a fee for having my dog stay. She made me feel extremely embarrassed and not want to come back! The shower was very shaky and dirty around the sides of it. Very disappointed
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent room as always with a good breakfast in the morning to start the day
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staffs
Cons: Not serving dinner
Good 7,0
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly on arrival. The room was large, clean and well-equipped with a great walk-in shower.
Cons: For the size of the room, we were surprised to find the bed was no larger than a double which, for us, was too small and therefore we had a uncomfortable night. The breakfast the following morning was OK: the sausages and bacon were over-cooked, cold and dry. As this was a complimentary breakfast, we were grateful for the toast and continental selection.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Great buffet breakfast. Roomy rooms. Located not too far from a bus stop, so easy to get places. We stayed here 4 years ago, and liked it.
Cons: Would be nice if they had transportation to/from train/bus stations, but getting there via the city bus is not too difficult (as long as a bus driver doesn't mislead you as to when your next bus really is). It was our most expensive room on the trip.

Good 7,0
Pros: Breakfast and pool
Cons: the room was old fashioned with no fridge and there was water damage to the door of the bathroom
Good 6,0
Pros: Leisure facilities were good and the reception staff helpful.
Cons: The attitude of the barman on duty and his lack of charisma, a very rude man who displayed absolutely no hospitality skills which even my 11 year old son pointed out. Slammed every drink down and made you feel like an inconvenience, pointed out at 3.30pm he was shutting the lounge at 10.15pm because he couldn’t be bothered.
Good 7,0
Pros: The staff were v attentive and professional I liked the food at breakfast I loved the swimming pool. I loved the voice in the lift, the local accent made her sound surprised everytime the doors opened The showers in both the room and swimming pool changing room were fantastic, great pressure and temperature. The jacuzzi was fantastic Bed was very comfy
Cons: On the bathroom floor next to the bath there were hairs which were not mine. In the toilet in changing rooms at the pool the lock was broken and the bottom of the door was damaged. The single poolside shower was broken and closed for maintenance The room felt quite dated and had no fridge
Good 6,0
Pros: The leisure facilities were excellent Breakfast was expensive but very good
Cons: Our room had a very strong chemical odour the carpets in our room were heavily stained bathroom could of been cleaner
