Pros: Space and original interior design

Cons: Very poor breakfast process. Complete chaos and overcomplicated process. Many, many people were upset and even angry as instead of free and normal naturally organised breakfast we in total spent close to an hour before to run to business meeting. Our room two nights in the row was forgotten to clean. On the carpet old wine and coffee stains.

Pros: The location and room was as expected, but that's where it dropped off a cliff, No restaurant service or bar snacks after 830pm, they have parking on site but it £5 extra. But its a gr8 place if your on a Stag or Hen night, yehhhh

Cons: The lifts stank of carry outs fast food and curry takeaways, due to the curfew on hotel food restaurant/bar snacks and absolutely no room service, as a first time client I just assumed a 4 * hotel my family would have access to 24 hour facilities

Pros: Nice central location for exploring Dundee. Good sized room. Clean and well equipped. Very good food served in the restaurant. Good view over the Quay. Really nice Spa

Pros: Love this hotel stayed few times central to shops etc and luxurious rooms.

Cons: Car parking used to be free when staying at hotel but now costs £5.

Cons: The pool was very busy with young children. Also, we could not have the cocktails we ordered, because the bar ran out of pineapple juice. My sister's pancakes at breakfast were saturated in sauce and were shop bought, rather than made fresh on the premises. However, the restaurant staff were excellent when she pointed this out & immediately brought her an alternative & apologised.

Pros: Loved the staff. Rooms very clean. Just a lovely place to stay. Easy walk to the new V&A.

Pros: receptionist was great. She even offered a room upgrade as it was quite late at night check in. free parking was a bonus.

Pros: Clean, great food and service, great receptionist- just generally very good and well rehearsed

Cons: I asked for a quiet room , and they put me towards the end of the corridor - but could hear a tv one side and talking on the other (Not the hotels fault but a little annoying)

Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Receptionists are really lovely. They always greet you with a smile and a friendly hello. I asked to move rooms because the one I was in was too noisy and they gave me another room right away. Have stayed here before and would stay here again if I go to Dundee again.

Pros: Comfy room. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods. Location was fine for access to and from train station plus the town and associated sites.

Cons: Our room was on the road side of the building. The road being very busy it meant that we could not leave the window open during the night as the traffic noise would have prevented sleep. Ask for a room at the back.

Pros: It has table and chair and two large windows. A clean and basic bed, which does it job. The communal bathroom is clean enough.

Cons: Given I was paying, it is a very resonable deal.

Cons: The room door had a massive gap underneath it so the heating kept escaping the room. The kitchen was really gross. The owners should definitely upgrade the facilities.

Pros: Size of room and facilities in the room were excellent and always warm enough. Great shower also provided and cleaned daily. Good location for visiting family and access to restaurants and town. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice available

Cons: I didn’t realise when booking that the building was also an Indian takeaway. Strong smell of spices in the building.

Cons: inside the hotel looked tired, room was very warm and we had to ask for extra coffee on both days

Pros: Room was a great size, really clean and loved the style. Breakfast was really nice, I was busy when we stayed due to a Concert in Dundee. Staff was really friendly too.

Pros: The room was nice, it was quiet, breakfast was nice. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Sense of spectacle to the decor.

Cons: The bed was supposed to be a double, but was two single mattresses, so this was not nearly as comfortable as we would have expected as a couple sharing a bed. Also the air conditioning was faulty, so it flashed a bright warning light all night, and the bathroom main light and fan were not working (this wasn't a huge issue for us).

Pros: Nice toiletries and coffee.

Cons: Blind was broken, soiled towels, clothing from previous guest in drawer. Poor service for money paid.

Pros: Stylish hotel in a good location, friendly staff. Close to the waterfront and handy if you want to do a little shopping during your stay. Gorgeous grand staircase that any girl can imagine herself floating down like a princess! Ditch the lift and take the stairs! Contemporary bar with a cosy, intimate feel, enjoyed sampling the cocktails in there. Check in/out was fast, efficient and friendly. Found the staff to be informative and helpful.

Cons: Would have been an excellent overnight stay but for one or two little niggles. The room was lovely, unfortunately some construction noise from the building site across the road...not the hotels fault, although it was an upgraded room. The glass topped desk & tables are a curse for the housekeeping staff as they show up all the bits they hadn't cleaned from the previous guests. Dinner in the Brasserie was lovely, but the rice that came with my curry although nice and fluffy on top, unfortunately was sitting in water from half way down the bowl and they hadn't deveined the prawn.

Pros: Friendly staff, quiet and and very clean room. Overall a very nice hotel.

Cons: The room was a little dark and the furnishings tend to accentuate this. The duvet on the bed was somewhat oversized for summer and it was hard to get the room cool enough. To be fair, I did not ask to have it changed.

We have stayed at the Queens hotel many times since our daughter came to Uni in Dundee, the hotel is relaxed and cosy, the staff are helpful and welcoming, the breakfast is really good and there is parking

Pros: At the time - term had not started - it was pretty quiet, and the location made it possible to find streets that down to the Firth for some really fresh air. The porter helpful and friendly.

Cons: This was a muddle between Booking.com and the Campus/Univ of Dundee. The website said there would be breakfast included. Fact was, there was no breakfast at all offered. The Campus is out of town on the Firth Road with no shops handy let alone a cafe so this for me was very, very inconvenient.

Pros: The location delivers what it promises: no hassles, just a clean bed and a good location

Pros: Location was good, the night security guard who let me into my room was very helpful and friendly.

Cons: the room is only big enough for a double bed and chair. it is the wooden paneled wall and in my opinion it felt like a prison cell so I did not stay in there in the end I left. the bed I could feel the springs from the mattress through the sheets.

Pros: Plenty of on - street parking. Close enough to city centre to be convenient, but residential and not noisy or congested. Very friendly and welcoming host who cooked a delicious breakfast. Good - sized, airy room and quiet location, so I got a good night's sleep. Very nice bathroom that has clearly had a recent refurb. Would definitely return.

Cons: Couldn't fault it. Sharing a bathroom could've been an issue, but it wasn't.

Cons: Host was lovely the bed was so comfy all round great value for money would deffo stop again 👍
