Excellent 8,0
Pros: Excellent service and wonderful room
Cons: No car parking facilities available - big disappointment and hinderence.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The property itself was beautiful but when you take a closer look it could do with a bit of TLC. We had a suite on the ground floor, which was lovely.
Cons: We didn’t like the suite on the ground floor, twice we forgot to lock the door and twice someone walked in thinking it was the bar!! We also had people congregating outside for a chat, which was fine during the day….but not late at night. There were no hooks or storage facilities in the bathroom…which was huge so could accommodate storage.
Good 7,0
Pros: The buildings the hotel were located in were beautiful. The room was lovely and had a little outside seating area which was cute.
Cons: There was a light out in the bathroom, no tissues in tissue box, in the shower a fixed toiletries holder was broken with a prong sticking out. Our room was located at the back near the kitchens and the noise when bottles were being lobed into the bottle bin was disturbing. We ate dinner and breakfast but were soo disappointed the portion sizes were tiny.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff great and very helpful. Excellent location
Good 7,0
Pros: Location great. Staff great.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room was very big, light, comfortable, quiet and special
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The room, hotel and service were all first class. Sadly we had to check out before breakfast though

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Everything is great. Stayed for sisters wedding amazing what a day will be back
Cons: Only think I would expect paying of this amount is a fridge in room
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It is in a beautiful building which has recently been renovated. The staff were very helpful
Cons: They take a huge number of wedding bookings which over run the hotel. If you’re not part of the event it’s a bit unfair and we had music playing in the room below ours, luckily only until 10pm
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Facilities in the hotel were excellent, hotel set in lovely gardens. Rooms were fantastic and dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The staff couldn't be any more helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again .
Cons: Under covid restrictions there were things the hotel had to follow but was not a negative for the hotel if anything it was more positive.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The rooms were spacious the staff went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect really good value for money :)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were nice really clean and food was very good.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room was larger than I imagined. Decor was modern and beautiful. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The grounds were well taken care of. All together had a lovely stay with my family.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Beautifully appointed comfortable rooms. Restaurant was fantastic with really nice friendly staff and the breakfast was excellent. The two ladies serving breakfast were a credit to the hotel. The room price was fantastic.
Cons: Check-in was very slow - several minutes - not really sure why it had to take so long.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Nice decor and big room
Cons: Room was very warm and only window was a door out onto an open roof. Our booking had a 3 year old so not ideal

Excellent 10,0

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff couldn’t be more helpful at a difficult time, bravo
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Just a superb 👌 hotel and magical comfy bed
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Mini fridge in the room
Excellent 8,8
Pros: A short walk from the airport. Late-open done-in bar was welcomed.
Cons: Pillows were insufferable.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: It was easy to find and great for parking if you were going on holiday. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff very friendly.
Cons: There was a bright clock on the TV that wouldn't switch off, which was annoying. There was not much selection for breakfast if you were vegetarian or vegan and not a big cooked selection either.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Value for money, location
Cons: Service at bar
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Loved the decor and the size of the room. Perfect for an overnight stay within quick access to the airport.
Cons: I walked over from the airport and it was confusing since here was no signage or directions. It was easily confused with the actual Holiday Inn. It was a pain to wander around dragging my bags.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Clean, modern rooms. USB ports built into sockets.
Cons: Internet dropped out constantly. Bathroom was a little basic.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: A comfortable hotel only two minutes walk to the airport. We always stay here when we have an early departure. Nice breakfast and friendly staff as well.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: In addition to earlier comments, we really find the parking convenient and fairly priced.
Good 7,3
Pros: Walking distance to the airport.
Cons: Air conditioning in the room was broken and the room was small.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: The food was excellent at breakfast and dinner. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: The room was in the garden extension. There seemed to be some damp issues in the corridor and the exit door did not close properly because of damp and it looked like it needed replacing. A little bit vulnerable to anyone coming in from the street if one was on their own.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great two night stay cheeky upgrade to the tower room was lovely
Cons: Bar/lounge area lacks any personality and structure felt like you had to be quiet 🤫 rather than relax
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I absolutely loved everything. I felt like a princess in a castle 🏰
Good 7,0
Pros: After checking the hotel website if I had booked through them we would have had breakfast including for same price as booking through booking.com. Excellent dinner and extremely helpful and friendly waiter.
Cons: On checking in we we’re told the room was outside the hotel down steps on opening the door the floor was soft and sinking underfoot The bed was extremely hard.

Good 7,0
Pros: As a member of IHG I thought I would have been given a rate at least comparable to that offered by Booking. com but I wasn't.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location of hotel is fantastic over looking the River Clyde, SSE Hydro and Armadillo Breakfast and dinner were excellent with a great choice to suit every dietary requirement
Cons: Pillows and mattress in room a little on the firm side for me
Good 7,0
Pros: The location was great as we were heading to Glasgow Science centre so just a short walk across the bridge.
Cons: The room wasn’t very clean especially the bathroom. Not enough places to hang towels. We had a meal in the hotel which was lovely after it eventually came. Started our meal at 7pm and didn’t get finished until after 10pm due to slow service. Difficult with kids at the table.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Closeness to the conference venue.
Cons: Quality of the restaurant.

Good 7,0
Cons: The food wasn't as good as it potentially could of been and breakfast really let it down. Some food felt expensive for being expensive. Room had no Aircon but we were provided with a small fan
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: The bedroom and ensuite were very clean. The spa treatment was excellent and therapist very professional and receptionust at spa very welcoming. The grounds of the hotel were well kept and the scenery and golf course were stunning
Cons: Hotel looks faded and has seen better days. The waiters were inexperienced and lacking basic training and an overall feeling that no one was fully on charge. Food was mediocre, promising on the menu but not delivering on quality.
Good 6,0
Pros: Good but expensive. Been to better
Cons: Close to my home
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Food is excellent
Cons: The hotel is at exquisite location
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful grounds, interior and wonderful attentive staff who went above and beyond to make it memorable especially Craig in reception and Morgan in the restaurant.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The hotel was really spacious and had lovely furnishing, staff was very friendly and helpful. Never had to wait too long to have my request sorted out. Food was really tasty and nicely presented. There was plenty facilities to use. Overall nice&relaxing stay.
Cons: Our room was really big and had a sow factor with 4 poster bed and glass furnishings, but unfortunately some of the crystal door knobs weren't attached properly and it was almost impossible to open part of the wordrobe and drawers. Bathroom was very spacious with double sinks and bath as well as big shower, but overall was a bit dated and didn't suit the rest of the room deco. The fan which we requested was delivered to the room very quickly but unfortunately only the lowest setting button was working.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: A fabulous hotel and spa in a beautiful location. Staff were brilliant and looked after us so well!!
Cons: No complaints … everything was perfect!

Good 7,0
Pros: As i said location is perfect. Agnieska was really professional answering all queries. The place is quiet grand but felt it could be cleaner. Just my opinion....
Cons: See above
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location was brilliant. Staff were very helpful with allowing us to leave bags at the hotel as we arrived early in the morning.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything is perfect. The room is clean with sunlight. The staff is nice and kind. Definitely recommended if you want to spend a great time in Glasgow.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Although ,due to Covid19, it was a contactless entry etc there was plenty communication via texts and messages
Cons: Can't say there was anything I disliked. It was room only which was fine for us as there are plenty places around to eat. However if I was a business traveller I may have preferred breakfast to be available
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The receptionist Jade was very kind and helpful she provided excellent service and gave us all of the information we needed. The room was beautiful and clean and the bathroom was sparkling. Overall it was an amazing stay and very close to restraunts and minutes away from the botanic gardens which was lovely to visit through the day.
Cons: The stay was magnificent the only downfall was the cafe and bar ect were not open. However this is due to current COVID restrictions and at no fault of the hotel.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location is brilliant and facilties are good
Cons: Requested for flower petals to be scattered in room as it was my Girlfriends birthday which hotel confirmed they would do but when arrived it was not done, other than that nice stay

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Staff were super welcoming and helpful.
Cons: Didn't really need to use it but the TV remote had some buttons that were not too responsive.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Location
Cons: No service, staff not very helpfull, bathroom grout black fungus
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Fabulous location. Immediately close to the terminal. Very comfortable hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: It would be nice if there was somewhere to sit outside, especially when we have such great weather.
Okay 4,0
Pros: What did I like about the hotel? let me think... reception was nice, but thats about it.
Cons: room and bathroom very dated, bed uncomfortable and its easier to charge my phone in Highlands than in the hotel.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Quiet and comfortable and within walking distance of the airport.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: So close to airport. Easy for early flight. Staff pleasant.
Cons: Liked it all. Food average.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Proximity to Glasgow airport
Cons: Mould, broken sink, broken tv.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location good. Coffee good
Cons: The toast was limp, poor choice of cereal, and all very impersonal
Good 6,8
Pros: The air conditioning was not working adequately due to unexpected heat wave, apparently. Staff was pleasant and tried their best to find us a room with operable air conditioning
Cons: We were first settled into a handicapped room. Warning signs were that there was a portable fan on the bureau (air conditioning not working in that room) - the next room we moved to had guest bottles of water available, where the handicap room didn’t even have a refrigerator in the room.
Good 7,5
Excellent 9,3
Good 7,4
Pros: right next to Glasgow airport. Very convenient for early morning travel.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: proximity to airport
Cons: restaurant was a bit expensive
Good 7,1
Pros: Location, location, location. Also, very clean with good bedding.
Cons: It is rather old. It appears to be well maintained with no wear seen but room format shows its age, such as the tiny bathroom.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location could not have been better four our 12 hour layover.
Good 6,8
Cons: It was disappointing to learn that I had to pay extra for breakfast since I booked through Kayak instead of booking directly. There was no price difference if I did book directly.
Mediocre 3,1
Pros: Location to airport is the only good thing
Cons: $333 for one night in a 2 star hotel is ridiculous
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Staff was pleasant and helpful. Bed was soft and comfy. It was also nice and quiet. Excellent location.
Good 6,0
Pros: That it is walkable to the airport.
Cons: Very basic room and bed. Everyplace we stayed in Scotland had free wifi - there is no reason why this isn't available for free at HIG as well. Restaurant was also very expensive. Bring a sandwich. Wake- up call did not occur- a true disappointment and potential disaster.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very clean. Check- in very efficient Covid procedures very evident. Didn't see any staff otherwise and did not eat in hotel so can't comment about that
Cons: Minor complaint, bed a bit too firm for my liking and pillows very uncomfortable, possibly needing replaced. Room was boiling hot- no air conditioning. Thank goodness for a fan found in wardrobe!!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great location by the botanical gardens. Really nice room, fresh and comfortable and classically decorated. Loved the long windows and airy feel of space and calm. An oasis in the city.
Poor 1,0
Pros: The hotels location is handy and we had help with our bags which we much appreciated.
Cons: The pictures on Booking.com are very misleading. The family room that we booked was very small, far too warm and stuffy, there was no air con and a tiny window that hardly opened. There was no fridge in the room. No couch (like the pictures showed). Reception gave us two small, dirty fans that were covered in dust we had to clean them ourselves before turning them on. We were told we had views overlooking the gardens but we looked directly onto a carpark? Lauren from reception sent a message asking if everything was OK with the room, I replied saying we were very uncomfortable and stuffy and she ignored it? Very bad experience and two very uncomfortable nights sleep for £400 for two nights it's definitely not worth the money would have been more comfortable in a Premier Inn. This is a budget hotel charging 4 star prices. Very disappointing.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location, friendly staff, comfortable room, good shower
Cons: Very noisy on Sunday night till about midnight. My room was on the 1st floor. No fitness room on site
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Nice rooms, comfy bed (if a little firm) and good breakfast. Location is perfect for the west end.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: We enjoyed the cleanliness and kindness of the staff and everything we met.
Cons: We did not get to go on the tour we wanted or at all. The tour was booked up and the remainder of or time was to short of a stay in order to see what we wanted to see.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Nice clean rooms, plenty free parking, great breakfast and friendly staff. Great pint of Amstell lager.
Cons: Shower was blocked but was offered another room immediately. Bar only had 2 lagers and a Guinness on tap as others out if stock.
Poor 1,0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hi hotel is in need of big renovation, staff was rushing too much, lift is too small only for two people, room sizes small, and stinks of cigarettes, beds are just ok, shower doesn't have a head. In general we won't recommend this hotel to anyone Not happy at all

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Lovely old place with an interesting history and delightful desk staff. Bathrooms and beds clean and comfortable. Very spacious rooms with high ceilings. New bathrooms with a modern feel. The continental breakfast was a nice work-around for covid restricted dining.
Cons: The carpet in my room could have had a better vacuuming.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location great.
Cons: Nothing.
Good 7,0
Pros: Staff were friendly and the place was clean and tidy, also well located for the west end and transport.
Cons: Bring your own soap, towels in the room but no soap
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very friendly staff, great price and had parking available for the hotel. The rooms were very big and had plenty of space. Very clean.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The hotel was cosy, comfortable, and quiet especially considering it's location (excellent for anyone visiting Glasgow as the transport links are great and there is so much within walking distance!) The bed was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The shower was electric so no issues with water pressure. The staff were an absolute delight - very approachable and friendly, and made us feel right at home. It has a very old-fashioned decadent feel, we loved it! Felt very safe in these covid-conscious times. It was inexpensive for the location and size of room, I feel it was great value for money and would be happy to stay again. They have only just started up the breakfasts again - paper bags with a wee selection of breakfast goodies, just perfect for having in our room before checking out.
Cons: The premises is very dated and in need of upgrading, eg grouting/sealant/accessibility to pullcords in the bathrooms, curtains difficult to close/open. The plumbing is also a tad antiquated!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Huge room with lovely big windows. Nice breakfast. Clean and friendly.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: EXCELLENT LOCATION, FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF
Cons: N/A
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Our stay was great. De rooms where clean, the beds comfortable and we had WiFi. The breakfast was also good. There is also a parking lot for your car. And the staff is very friendly.
Cons: The beds roll when you go lie in it. Bit irritating

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Staff were really nice.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Booked the family room and it had a double and a single and was very spacious, and very clean, the bathroom was a good size and also very clean, location was perfect for us as we were visiting the Botanical Gardens which was about 100 yards away, it was also very handy for Glasgow city with many buses going into City as for the breakfast, well that was excellent, with so many choices and so well cooked, and we were looked after throughout, got the impression that nothing would have been too much trouble, WILL DEFINEATLY STAY AGAIN AND SOON
Cons: Hot water took a while to arrive initially but once there it was lovey and hot dont think its a big problem though just nit picking
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Fantastic breakfast with lovely service
Excellent 9,0
Pros: perfect location, 2 mins away from botanic gardens and byres road. lots of food options around to order and staff were excellent!
Poor 1,0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Very poor standard of room, extremely dirty and horrible smell of cigarettes in room and through out building. Decided not to stay at property due to this as it was not ran with a professionalism. Even tho there are good reviews they are not accurate. Even on arrival there was a guest complaining at reception about the sate of room which rang alarm bells straight away. Very disappointing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great friend staff
Cons: It was all good

Good 6,0
Pros: My friend was in hospital it was perfect location
Cons: The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was a glass down the side of the dressing table and the bathroom floor was covered in hair.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Bar
Cons: Room wasn’t that clean Too noisy Far too warm in rooms wasn’t even warm that day Bath didn’t fill right
Okay 5,0
Pros: Available parking on site
Cons: Dated and tired hotel.
Good 6,0
Pros: Really nice large, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Very handy for bus service and good price.
Cons: Room could have been cleaner, obviously was not vacuumed before we went in, towels were a bit threadbare and overall (except for the bed) was quite tired and in need of an upgrade.
Good 7,0
Pros: Good value for money. Our room cost £39 for the night which was super cheap. We just wanted a cheap hotel as myself and my boyfriend were spending the full day / night out in town so just needed somewhere to sleep really and this did the trick.
Cons: The room was very warm and didn't seem to cool down at all. We couldn't get the shower turned off in the morning. When we came back in at night we were playing music through my phone (no speaker or anything) so fairly quiet we thought. We had an aggressive knock on the door from a male member of staff telling us to turn the music down. I apologies and told him I would and that I didn't realise it was loud as it was just playing through my phone. He was very aggressive, raising his voice and telling me you could hear my music from the elevator? Could have went about this nicer as we didn't realise you could hear the music out with our room and he was very rude. This would be the only reason preventing me from staying again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: All
Cons: Psy for carpark
Excellent 8,0
Pros: comfy bed decent room but no a.c. in room
Cons: bathroom a bit dated and shower not great. Room very hot and no air con
Mediocre 3,4
Pros: parking
Cons: Stayed here before without any problems but this time I booked a double bed, only to find two singles pushed together, which kept coming apart when slept on which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The duvet was too small for the bedsheets and the bedsheets weren't fitted properly, looked like a rush job. To top off, I was on the 4th floor, 436, and all morning the housekeeping staff wouldn't keep the noise down and respect guests peace and quiet. There is an "office" at the end of the corridor on the forth floor where staff congregate. I had to bang my door several times so the staff realised that their noise was exessive. Did I mention the lift was broken too? Also, only had one towel in the room when two guests were staying. Overall, a total shambles.
Good 7,1
Pros: Bathroom was great I especially love the bathtub. The hotel was really cozy.
Cons: It could have been a lot cleaner. After we checked in I noticed someone else's hair in the bathroom. A little noisy. Room was a bit small for the two of us.
Excellent 8,6
Pros: Staff were excellent. Friendly and very eager to help.
Cons: Room was quite warm but fans were available upon request
