Pros: Staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Bedrooms were small but perfectly sized for our needs. Bed was very comfortable. In room technology was quirky and fun. Bar - cafe - canteen was modern and exciting, with a well curated bar selection and good food. Good views from 6th floor and up. Despite the bar being busy well into the night, we were not disturbed in our room by noise or light pollution.
Cons: There did not appear to be a gym or fitness area. This probably not a good hotel for families with young children.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very innovative with electronic check-in and room controls. We loved the shower! The food was delicious and staff were friendly and courteous. We like how the various spaces for relaxing, reading, meeting, and computer use sort of `unfolded' as we explored the first two floors of the hotel.
Cons: Difficulty in dropping off bags - no apparent place to stop car for that purpose. Parking was a bit far but ok.

Cons: Wakened at 4am by other guests on the 6th floor and had to call in a complaint. Didn't sleep again which wasn't ideal as I was down in Glasgow for a business meeting the whole of Monday and felt really tierd. Not impressed!

Pros: The central location in Glasgow.
Cons: The two single rooms we booked were very small with no air conditioning. The one upholstered chair was thread-bare. With the window open for fresh air the traffic noise was unbearable. The hotel has a very rigid no refund policy so be very careful when paying up front. We would not stay at the Grand Central again nor would we recommend it to our friends.

Instantly felt under dressed when we walked in from train station. Very lovely room, not much of a view but we didn't hear or feel a single train.

Cons: The booking process lead me to end up booking the wrong dates on a non-refundable deal - I contacted them immediately and we were able to sort it out, but do be careful when booking.

Pros: The location of the hotel is great! The staff were friendly and our room was nice.
Cons: The leisure facilities could definitely use some renovations. The changing rooms, steam room, and general pool/leisure area were not very clean. The Jacuzzi was not working when we first arrived, though it was available for our last day. I would definitely consider staying here again if these facilities are improved.

Pros: We were at a concert in the SECC. It was right next door so it made our evening hassle free. No parking worries, traffic worries. The room was absolutely fine, had everything we needed. We sat out in the sun at the water and had a drink beforehand, breakfast was lovely. It was perfect for our needs.

Cons: reception staff on check in were not friendly at all, breakfast was ok not a huge choice, both times i went there were only a few peices of dry bread left and the tv had jeremy kyle blaring out of it which wasnt my cup of tea!

Cons: The room was not very clean; and most unfortunately it was mainly in the bathroom. The toilet had not been properly cleaned. Also the shower head needed tightening; when turned on - water spouted in nearly every direction making it impossible to not make a giant mess. The pillows were flat and the mattress was stiff. I'm not picky about these things as long as they are clean - which they appeared to be.

It had everythin that anyone on an over night or short stay requires and we would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting glasgow its location in the heart of the city centre is fabulous and noise level was not an issue .

Cons: Breakfast was mediocre at best. Toilet in the room dripped all night, which wasn't too much of a problem due to the constant road noise. Shower head could not be lifted high enough to be over my head due to a short hose and the pressure was highly variable. Bathroom mirror is placed such that I had a nice view of my bellybutton but could not see my face to shave. Room was far too warm on arriving and turning the radiator "off" still left it heating.

Cons: The room felt like a nice hostel, not a 4 star hotel. This location is 2 blocks from the nightclub scene so it was very loud with people shouting on the streets and cars revving their engines. The water closet was very plain and the toilet paper quality poor. There is no pool/whirlpool/jacuzzi. We booked this room at a discount rate, thankfully. Had I paid full price, I would not have been happy with the full-rate and the quality of hotel. This is more like a 2 star hotel.

Cons: The tv is on the wrong wall on room 718, neither bunk bed has a clear view. The shower was a bit hard to work out and the pressure is not great. The soap in the shower should be actual bath gel or body shampoo not hand hashing foam.

Pros: The rooms are clean and tidy, I can't complain about that.
Cons: The bathroom light in the shower is motion sensing, but it doesn't sense your motion in the shower. So the lights turn off on you about every 2 minutes and you have to get out in the dark and make motion. Not the safest. Also the shower drained poorly so it would overflow if I didn't shut off the water. I actually had to switch rooms when I first got there. The first room had mosquitoes, and smelled musty. The place was cheap, but maybe too cheap.

Pros: The location couldnt be more central, the staff are very nice and rooms are as good as you can expect. There’s a bar downstairs which serves breakfast too. I stayed at a private room which was amazing for the money I paid. Everything you’d expect in a Hotel room at third of the price.
Cons: It’s very noisy with the traffic and trains as well as loud guests in the corridors. I didn’t mind but don’t go if you’re a light sleeper.

Very horrible experience, the rooms are very cramped, some of the reception staff are very bad, rude and disrespectful, I complained at one of the staff and unfortunately, my email was not answered! The internet keeps cutting off. Elevators are very slow. The lounge on the first floor is very cold and there is not enough sofas for comfort. I forgot an important thing: They will try to take any money from you for any reason, and you will hear to the word "deposit" all the time!! I will not stay with them no matter what happens.

Pros: The price was what we were looking for.
Cons: The rooms were extremely small, almost claustrophobic. You needed to pay for every single additional item that you wanted. Pay extra for the remote, WIFI, towels, and even for your room to be cleaned. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and I was afraid to even sleep in it because of the just general uncleanliness I felt in the room. This room is only suitable for younger couples or singletons with minimal luggage/baggage.
