Breakfast provided with no extra charge and with a range of choice.
The parking spaces and stairs were dirty. The level 1 of car parking could not be accessed by lift. Two towels provided in a 3 people bedroom. A small space for breakfast for too many people.
It offers exactly what one can expect in the price range ane type of property
It's a bit sterile and the TV is in an akward position. No bedside electrical sockets
Location is Reasonably good, close to city about 10 -15 mins walk Room cleaning every day was really good and staff were efficient. Breakfast is very good price and option to add day before at 5.20 or on the day for 5.80 Free on site car park. Check in was smooth and most reception staff were very helpful particularly Emer was very nice and courteous. Space in rooms is just ok with no chairs to sit etc but that is expected in a budget hotel , they have used space well with compact toilet and showers. Option for free tea and cofee near reception is a good one Eating options including Nando’s nearby and cinema next door.
Lifts from car parks are complicated Outlook is a bit run down though once you are inside it is fine Outlet outside is ok but walk towards city is through some run down areas and road works etc
The rooms were minimal but clean
There wasn’t enough seating for breakfast
I felt it was an unsafe environment, people wandering around, sitting in corridors watching TV on their phones, eating takeaway & leaving the rubbish in the floor. There was a wet room not a bathroom & it was grimy, I refused to use it or walk in with bare feet. The room smelt unpleasant. Absolutely no facilities other than TV in the rooms, no hairdryer or drink facilities. Just a bar if soap in the bathroom, no shampoo etc.
Just a half-hour walk from Glasgow's vibrant centre, our modern, affordable hotel puts you up in style without breaking the bank. Taking things out of the city a touch (but not too far) allows us to offer those little things that make all the difference, like free parking and super-low room rates.
