Pros (+) Lovely period building, great location travelled by train and used station entrance. The standard room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff could not have been nicer.
Cons (-) There was a bit of noise from town and station, but considering the location it was to be expected and cant see how the hotel could do anything about it

Pros (+) The central location in Glasgow.
Cons (-) The two single rooms we booked were very small with no air conditioning. The one upholstered chair was thread-bare. With the window open for fresh air the traffic noise was unbearable. The hotel has a very rigid no refund policy so be very careful when paying up front. We would not stay at the Grand Central again nor would we recommend it to our friends.

Cons (-) We had no remote control for the tv, the room had no fridge or minibar, we had no menu for room service and when we phoned to ask for one it took 1 hour 30 mins to arrive
