Handy for train station .hotel was as expected for the price, staff were friendly and cheery
Immediate area is quite rough, beggars approached us at night and quite verbally abusive. This has put me off staying in the area but is not the hotels fault .did not use wifi so cannot comment , room was tired and bathroom quite tatty.a lot of oise out side due to bottles getting disposed of by pubs ...
Not a lot to be fair on saying that the bed was confy and the room nice and compact and happy the room was serviced daily.
I think the bathroom was put together by monkeys. Unrated tiles and loose fixtures. My friend got a 20% price less then me that included breakfast. While I paid for one breakfast that was overpriced for what it was. No free view that I could receive on the TV anyhow.
I couldn't ask for a better location. It's literally located right across the street from Glasgow Central Station, so it's essentially in the heart of the city centre of Glasgow. The staff was also very nice and accomodating. I ran out of coffee and the front desk receptionist literally went back to the kitchen to get me more coffee packets. There were actually 2 staff members working teh front desk reception at different shiftf (one younger genetleman and one younger lady,) and they were both very friendly and informative with my inquiries about different destinations to see in Glasgow.
I don't really care about the fact the hotel room was average at best, because for the location and price it is well worth it. I didn't even care about the fact it could get very noisy all the way to 5 am on the weekends given its proximity to the nightclubs/pubs. My MAJOR issue with the hotel was the lack of heat at night. There's a radiator right by the bed that seemingly only works in the morning. At night time it's completely shut off which is a problem given the weather was usually around 0 degrees celcius (32 farenheit.) This is a major issue that they need to fix promptly and I'm just glad I didn't end up getting sick during my stay there. I would rate this hotel much higher if I didn't have this heating issue. Unfortunately I did, and it factors in heavily to my decision of rating it as just "okay." If they fixed their heating issues, I would have no problem with staying there again, but if not, I'd look elsewhere.
Great location next to the central station right in the centre of town.
Mould in the bathrooms, rooms need some TLC. TVs are poor quality and have some random channels
Considering the price, the facilities were not great and the room was fairly noisy (from the plant/deliveries at the back of the hotel).
