Distance to city centre
I hate the plastic undersheets some hotels use. I understand why they use them but I asked for it to be removed & it wasnt. The bed was only acceptable (Lenny Henry must have got a new one in the Ad). The bathroom smelt stale. The pub next door was closed when I arrived on Friday & had a poor selection of Vegetarian food available by 8pm on Sat. Disaster - Use the one in Dundee city unless you are self contained
Met all our requirements
staff were all very friendly
i would have plug sockets by the bed 4 people 2 charge phones
Room very clean, good breakfast, good location to an on the road trip around Scotland
always comfortable and spacious enough for a couple of days with our little one
had problem with card machines due to a fault their end and had the drive again t get cash to pay on arrival having already travelled 9 hours that day and arriving at 10pm with a 2 year old so was rather annoyed that they couldn't take their payment the following morning as we were booked in for two days and it was their fault not ours .
Staff friendly and helpful
Friendliness of staff
a large room
a second chair and a "moving pipe" in the bath would be better
The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room
it was handy for what we wanted to do tour around the area
