Pros: Great location right across from the pier, large awesome living area with separate room, kitchen stocked with dishes and whatever you’ll need. They even have beach toys and games and movies to borrow for the kiddos. We came in on the train and they were great about letting us store our bags until we left.
Cons: The floor and furnishings of the room are updated but some parts of the overall property/the bathtub could use some TLC — not a big deal, just worth noting. Seems like they had some works in progress though!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff that helped me after I botched up the booking for the 4th of July holiday and an unparalleled location next to the beach away from the enormous crowds during the busy holiday. Less than 100ft from the pier.

6,7 Good
Pros: Beautiful view, central location for local beaches, nice staff and comfortable

6,7 Good
Pros: I liked the surroundings.
Cons: The toilet wasn’t working properly .
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location was great...beautiful views...remodeled lobby nice ...parking valet was easy
Cons: First room was a disaster...like being in a cave...very noisey...bad sewer odor...after first night moved to another room...both rooms had the "worst" showers ever!...no doors ...water leaks out all over the floor...very poor design overall for a new remodel...same sewer odor when you shower but not as bad as the first room...overall a very poor representation of a Marriott property!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and modern hotel with all the amenities. Love the ocean views
Cons: You have to pay fir parking
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The view. Location. Service.
Cons: Construction in and around hotel property. My first room’s balcony looked directly at the roof of the next building. Zero view for such an amazing place. My second room was much better.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Beautiful views.
Cons: We reserved a king size bed and there wasn’t one available at check-in. We were told there would be one available the next day if we wanted to move rooms. We were willing to do that. However, a room was not available until after 6:00pm. If they had told us that up front it wouldn’t have been so bad. We were led to believe we would have our room by 4:00. Could have been handled better. Also, soap, shampoo, etc was not replenished the second day.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable, rooms were large, pool was very nice and breakfast was good. The service and hospitality was outstanding.
Cons: The only negative was location near the freeway.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely front desk staff, breakfast room staff was cheerful and diligent with keeping breakfast stocked and the area clean
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We came for our daughter's wedding on the premises and stayed 2 nights. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good and had a variety of food, including fruit and yogurt smoothies. There was plenty of seating in the breakfast room, so you didn't feel like rushed. We also had a nice view of the golf course from our balcony.
Cons: Since we were there for our daughter's wedding, we used the "boardroom" for the bridesmaids to get ready. There were 6 of us, a makeup artist, plus a hairstylist in the room and it didn't feel crowded. The problem with the room was that the lighting was way too intense (too bright and too hot) plus the fact that there was very little ventilation. I propped the door open and put the dressing screen in front of the doorway to try to get some cool air in there. My husband and I were staying in a queen suite which, in retrospect, would have been a much better choice for a dressing area.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property was close to beach, great views , old but clean and everyday had a new breakfast menu. The staff was always happy to help with a smile.
Cons: There was limited parking, one small elevator . Needed a little TLC.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and big rooms
Cons: Nothing I can think of
6,3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was lovely room was nice a clean staff were helpful
Cons: Pool was small, right next to the freeway was overpriced for what it was would not return due to cost

Pros: Getting a fridge/freezer in the room; gets cold enough to freeze my ice packs (some don’t) great value for the money

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The beds were very comfortable, the location to the beach and to town were great. Everything else was great.

Cons: Parking is very tight.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice facility, clean, had everything needed in the room (iron, hairdryer, refrigerator, coffee pot) sanitized TV remote, good breakfast, amazing staff who were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Only issue for me was parking with an oversized vehicle, but staff went above and beyond to find a location and city parking permit.
7,5 Good
Pros: The scrambled eggs were awful! I don't think they were made from fresh eggs but from a carton instead. The potatoes were good. The coffee was terrible!
Cons: Room assignment was facing the street which was noisy first AM. Also, having to pay for parking is annoying...there is no reason to charge a guest for on property parking except to overcharge!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s pet friendly!!! And we had to bring our two cats with us and they were welcome!! Made us feel more welcome and breakfast was delicious!!!
Cons: Nothing

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, nice pool, good breakfast, quiet, and liked being able to access the shuttle right across the street. Mexican restaurant next door should stay open later!
Cons: Once you take the shuttle home, if you have had a couple of wines and don't want to drive anywhere there really isn't much to do. The only place close closes at 9:00.. We do not have the Uber app
5,8 Okay
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Dated.
7,5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good and Maria was so nice!! Very nice people at check in and they were very helpful since we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room ( first time that has ever happened) but the problem was solved in no time!
Cons: The room we had was handicapped, it was very clean but a little old. The bed on the other hand was horrible, it was not comfortable at all so I ask for a topper and they didn’t have one but put I think a blanket on under the sheet, it was still very hard but we made the best of it!!

5,8 Okay
Pros: Location. Nice lobby. Spacious room.
Cons: Carpets needed cleaning. Exterior needed paint, wood rot repair. Room was not as clean as it should have been.
7,1 Good
Pros: Room had full kitchen.
Cons: Bathroom shower was hard to regular hot water. Sliding door and screen was broken and would not lock. We lost power at one point and there was NO ELEVATOR.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The pool and hot tub, location
Cons: Old beds, cheap foam pillows, door keys kept failing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach! All the extra activities to do on the property.
Cons: Thin walls. I heard “everything!” all night long next door.
7,1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and good facilities.
Cons: A little noisy, bedroom window open to main corridor. Detected noise at night from adjoining rooms.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location pretty good. Big Hill but manageable. Housekeeping Staff was friendly. Size was great.
Cons: Light went out in bathroom. Ants in cupboards. Restaurant only open in am.. Like a place for an evening glass of wine before dinner.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I liked that there were so many amenities offered and that the location of the inn was so close to the beach.
Cons: There were ants in our room. The room we were given was not the same one advertised in the online pictures. The room we got needed an update. The closet was behind two doors making it an awkward, tight, and pretty much inaccessible storage area (We had to leave our clothes in our suitcases.) Amenities were all taken up by kids (billiards, mini golf, pool, etc.) Pool hours did not account for an "adult swim time." The bar was small. And THERE IS NO GUEST ELEVATOR..we had to carry all of our luggage up and down stairs.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Landscaping Grounds are maintained nicely. Rooms are very decorative and modern. Great price for all that’s included. Beach very close by. This is our 3rd family beach trip. My 4th time here. Will continue to make it a yearly destination. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Had some issues with my credit card and they worked around that.
Cons: We arrived Friday night. Come Saturday morning we noticed there was an awful smell in the hotel. We blamed it on the meat packaging in the trash from cooking dinner the night before. However after throwing the trash out the smell was still there. As we searched the entire room we went to open the closet door in the master suite, there was gut wrenching smell of death. Maintenance came to inspect and said it was mice season and there was probably a dead mouse behind and in between the walls. The walls would have to be knocked down. We were offered to change rooms but we had all our groceries in the fridge and there was too much of our stuff to move for the 4 of us. Such an inconvenience to move to a different building. We kept the closet door closed and the ceiling fans going full blast thru our stay until Sunday morning. Also the pool/jacuzzi hours should be extended by at least an hour for adults.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very Clean and well maintained throughout. Extremely convenient to the beach and center of San Clemente.
Cons: Check in can be as late as 4PM but check out is by 10 PM with a charge of $50 per hour after that if you are running slow. We were accommodated with a check in at 1 but in order to do that, you have to return to the property and "pre-check In"... Coffee supplied in room is nasty. Why bother offering it???
5,0 Okay
Cons: We weren’t told anywhere when we booked that it was a huge time share place and that on sundays you have to wait to be called to check in. We were number 52! Also, we were told we could not check in or our room wouldn’t be available until after 4:30 or later. We were only staying one night and that seemed a bit bizarre to me. I feel people that aren’t staying for extended amount of time should be checked in first and have priority. I mean we spent a chunk of our vacation day sitting and waiting in the lobby. Ridiculous! I feel this info should be listed somewhere. And when I did get to check in the employee wansnt overly friendly and didn’t offer much info. She seemed more annoyed that I was asking question and asked for a quiet room (since you can pick). Also the room was dated and the sheets were worn.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The amenities around the hotel
Cons: Have a coffee station in the lobby.

Pros: The lobby was nice.
Cons: It is just a dump. The room was old, tired, and smelly. The carpet was torn and sticky. The shower was gross. The walkways and exterior were ugly and shabby like an old tenement. Dump.

Pros: Good location, pleasant and helpful staff. Hotel was clean. Parking was good, free laundry was useful. Marginal breakfast was OK, but no whole wheat muffins or bread!
Cons: Booked a timeshare setup - should have cooking and eating facilities, and reasonable seating accommodation. Instead, we got a microwave, no table or chairs, one armchair and one desk chair. There was a jacuzzi we didn't need. Shower floor was like glass.

Pros: Pool lounge chairs and cabanas. Clean and good hot breakfast
Cons: Rooms and hallways seem outdated

Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful area of San Clemente, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops and the beach. There is also a free trolley to take you around the area
Cons: We arrived a little earlier than check in time (40 min) and were told our room wasn’t ready (understandable). But after returning from a walk after check in time it still wasn’t ready. We waited an hour and the man at the desk said he would call me when it was ready and didn’t. I went to check on the room and he said it was now ready.

Pros: Loved it, if we ever make it back to San Clemente we will definitely be staying there again.

Cons: I wouldn't say the photos of the room were misleading, but did not quite live up to what I expected.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The decor was awesome. Kate, our hostess, was real, timely, and kind! I want to work with her!
Cons: Wish we had known about the coffee outside the office. Though it was visible, it did not register, and the next morning we wondered. Though we had a kitchen, there was no coffee in it. Also, the fan in our room was too loud. Without it though, it would’ve been too hot. These are minor details. I would love to stay there again!

Pros: I love it.
Cons: Manager walk through patio.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location was great!
Cons: Our room was next to trash bin which you could smell when the window was open. Couldn’t open restroom window neither since it was next to recycle bin and took away from our privacy. Miscommunication on getting clean towels... assumed those would be provided daily

Pros: Location
Cons: Bathrooms were really gross, the tub didn’t drain, the shower curtain was tattered, the sink area was just old and had chipped countertop. When I turned AC unit on to access the fan because there was so much humidity in room, black stuff came flying out. The blackout shades are useless because all the balconies have a bright light and it comes shining through. One positive, is that your breakfast lady takes pride in what she does and area is kept clean and well stocked. Hot tub could be wayyyyy warmer as well.
3,4 Mediocre
Pros: I wish I could have stay there to find out what I like.
Cons: If they had given us the rooms we booked it would have been amazing. we booked and paid for the rooms, and then when checking in they said, sorry its a holiday weekend and there was a mix up with your booking and we DON'T HAVE ROOMS for you.... so they out us in a Hilton near by, it was already 9PM when we checked in and missed dinner. Horrible.
7,9 Good
Pros: It was exactly as advertised.
Cons: night check in staff. woman seemed bothered to be helping me, it was around 11pm
7,9 Good
Pros: We arrived late from LA and the staff made our check-in quick and easy. Our room was on the first floor around the corner from the check-in desk. That was perfect because it was late, we were tired, and the last thing we wanted to do was walk around the hotel to find our room. We were able to get situated and enjoy the room immediately. Breakfast was fun and delicious. The fresh fruit and ability to make our own waffles made it a unique experience.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Rooms were small.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Love the location, and very nice variety on breakfast. Coffee with flavored creamers always available. And the staff is always so nice.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Comfortable clean living area. We had fun hanging out on the deck.
Cons: Bathroom definitely needed an upgrade and it wouldn't hurt to clean under the mat in the tub once in a while.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We could check into our room earlier than expected as we were attending a wedding. Staff went out of their way to enable us to do this.
Cons: Nothing
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good location right next to the beach
Cons: We booked a double bed room. We got a single bed room.. I also sent a message asking about having some flowers and a card for my girlfriend when we arrived. I received a message from booking.com saying the host could provide that. This was not fulfilled. After my stay I asked what happened with that and they replied that they don’t fill any special requests. So I’m curious why I was told they could fill my resquest when they claim they don’t do that sort of thing..
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs update bathroom not the greatest
6,3 Good
Pros: Close proximity to whale watching.
Cons: Basic hotel and rooms. Felt a bit gloomy. Reservation of room said mountain view. We had the view of another room like ours across from a walkway. The only mountain view was a hill across from the hotel through the windows while getting to our room.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: There were stains on the carpet near the end of the right side of the bed, very visible. They can be and should have been removed. All of the pillows were too soft. A mx of firm and soft would be better.

Pros: Close tobthe beach
Cons: Ocean view rooms are actually partial ocean view rooms. Too noisy
9,6 Excellent
Pros: They provided beach chairs and umbrellas
7,9 Good
Cons: We were charged USD 29 per night for parking which seems a little steep
7,1 Good
Pros: Location was amazing!
Cons: Morning breakfast staff was not very attentive at all. Would have been better if it were just a seat yourself buffet...since that is what we were treated like even though we had the full hot breakfast. I wished we hadn't prepaid for the breakfast so we could've went somewhere else. The room next to us was coming in and out all night, between 1 and 3 in the morning. 2 nights of this was more than enough! Not the hotels fault but the doors slamming shut were really loud.
4,2 Okay
Cons: Here is a list of everything that was wrong (although I may be missing something) - Torn couch cushions (multiple); screen door off track, bathroom sink faucet was very loose; toilet wouldn't flush properly; Shower drain wasn't connected; incredibly loud fan on a/c going off and on and waking us up during the night when the toilet wasn't constantly running, also waking us up.
7,9 Good
Cons: The toilet room accessories were upgraded by a designer without practical application. Mirror lighting inadequate, no shelf space for dopp kit. "Modernization" attempt failed...should have stayed with original layout and plans, not 'goo gah' modern.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: By the beach,
Cons: Bathroom set up, door didn’t close

Cons: Bathroom was crazy small like a motel 6...smaller. Also was never told about $25 self parking per night. Was a total surprise and I would have picked a different hotel. Thank you

Pros: Wifi was free...
Cons: Full ocean view isnt really what I expected. Blocked by trees and the camp site in front of the hotel. Just expected more of a view for what I paid.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The location was convenient and the staff members were friendly
Cons: Lots of traffic noise from nearby roadways and the train track running directly behind the hotel. The water main broke during my stay and there was no water for several hours. Had to check out without showering or cleaning up.

Pros: Lois check me in nice & friendly, asked if stairs would be an issue, this was great since my 82 year old mother does not handle stairs well. Lois gave us a ground floor room next to the handicap parking. The room was nicely appointed and was very clean.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location close to the beach.
Cons: Expensive. Noisy rooms cleaning from early morning in front of the rooms at ground floor.
7,5 Good
Pros: Everything was normal. Nothing espectacular ñor fancy. The location is super good walking distance from cafes, restaurants and beach.
Cons: The breakfast was not good at all. All disposable and just junk food. We have to go to a cafe for breakfast.
7,5 Good
Pros: Room was clean and great price for a very last minute planned trip! We were over all very happy that we picked this hotel. Coffee was good.
Cons: Water pressure could have been a little bit better. But it wasn’t terrible and we were glad the sheets and towels were clean.

Pros: View of ocean
Cons: breakfast
4,6 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The bathroom was dirty. Needs a paint job and thorough cleaning. I even scrubbed down the toilet myself. The hotel sits on a hill which for an elderly person is hard to migrate up and down. Very scary! The breakfast was very disappointing without any real healthy choices. Nobody at front desk most of the time. Have to ring a bell to get someone's attention.
7,9 Good
Pros: Everything else is decent.
Cons: Area behind the bed was not so clean.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: You are in a prime tourist beach area for a price I don’t find in most places in poorer city areas. The rooms are large, clean and have many amenities in wasn’t expecting for the price. The manager is helpful. With family in this city and sometimes a room crunch at their place we’ve found our 2nd home option when visiting from out of Syate

Pros: Great location. Friendly staff.
Cons: Although the room was recently remodeled, the A/C dripped water from condensation all over the area beneath it. No other room was available and the problem couldn’t be fixed on Saturday night. The room was sparsely furnished with low end furniture. The bed squeaked. The floor felt like plastic. Sheets were pilled and should be replaced.

Cons: Needed something on the shower floor for non slip and more grab bars strategically placed.
7,1 Good
Pros: Room was newly renovated and very clean
Cons: Could not use my terrace because the door was swollen shut, but not that big of a loss because the view is of the ocean behind a train track and fence. Bbreakfast was a big disappointment. For a non smoking property there were smokers all outside in the public space

Pros: IT WAS GOOD
Cons: NO ICE MAKER
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice, the bed could have had a “better” mattress. One more thing! The management could leave 2 coffee packets; sometimes people like an Evening cup of coffee, & of course in the morning. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, I would come back
4,2 Okay
Cons: The facility is very old. Patch spots on walls not painted. Lamp did not work. Could see light through door jam. Second room had food under the bed and bath tub did not drain.
6,3 Good
Pros: Parking was scarce. They even had a sign that suggested parking in the street if necessary. No ice machine without bothering the front desk and he was busy doing laundry. Our room had no wall decorations at all. It was very loud by the highway and a major street (this place is not by the beach no matter what the name says). There was no breakfast although the donut shop across the street was great.
Cons: See above.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a newly renovated room, which was done very well. There is a nice view from the balcony area on the 3rd floor. We liked having an area outside to sit and relax and enjoy the view. It is across from the freeway, but we didn't let that bother us! It is conveniently located near places to eat, get coffee, and groceries. Close to the local beach too! Wish we could have stayed longer...we would stay again! Oh, the guy in the office is very nice, and check in and out was a breeze!
Cons: We liked pretty much everything, but a few minor suggestions...the barn door on bathroom in renovated room needs to be able to close all the way, it was kind of weird being able to see into and out of the bathroom through the door that doesn't close all the way. Also, bed was a little too soft for us, and maybe some pictures and other decor would make it feel more homey...and a blow dryer, and cups for water and the coffee would be a nice touch. But in there defense it was a newly renovated room so maybe they just haven't had a chance to spruce it up! All the furniture was new and very stylish! These are just minor things that can be improved upon, but we would stay again for sure!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfort and cleanliness. Close to beach
Cons: The only problem was parking. Not enough spaces for the place when it is sold out. Came back about 10 pm and there wasn't a spot left. Was forced to block almost two cars and couldn't sleep worrying I would get hit.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: Staff was horrible especially the blonde witch
7,5 Good
Pros: I liked the family-run hotel atmosphere. They are upgrading the property, so I didn't expect the latest interior decor fad. But the room was big, it was clean, and it suited our needs. Very close to freeway on and offramps made for a convenient location.
Cons: Needed more towels in the bathroom. Curtains didn't close completely, so used clips to hold shut.
4,2 Okay
Pros: That it was close to my daughter’s apartment.
Cons: That there was no ice machine, microwave, phone. Also a really slow elevator and the the no kept thing was weird. Also the bed was very soft and dipped in when you keyed on it
8,2 Excellent
Pros: It was clean. Staff was nice
Cons: NO PARKING..It was limited and to tight.. 2 dents in my new car door. I think it was high priced for listening to the freeway all night. need blinds. The outside is lite up for safety but to bright to sleep.
7,5 Good
Pros: Staff was amazing. When we got there, there was a strong smell of marijuana.. it got stronger in the elevator, and when we got to our floor, there was a guy sitting outside smoking it in plain sight.. Not good when you have a family with kids. Although this is not the hotel's fault, it seemed to be ignored. Parking was insane.. I watched as people tried to squeeze in their spots, and not be able to get out of their cars without bumping the cars next to them. I did like the staff though.. they were very friendly and courteous. The donut shop across the street had bugs flying around in the clear glass cases and wouldn't give me a bagel with cheese, although they serve bagel egg and cheese sandwiches. The floors in the rooms are extremely dirty but that's ok though, overall it was a good experience, we walked to burgers and shakes and had a great meal there. Like I said, the staff was awesome.
Cons: The dirty floors, the parking situation, and the blatant drug use of the neighbors next door. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. The staff was awesome! The price was decent.

Pros: We have been coming here for 4 or 5 years the staff are very nice and we love the location.

Cons: No ice machine... but a 7/11 across the street!!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room was comfortable and spacious for a young family with a 1 year old baby. Facilities were more than sufficient for a short stay.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing and could not really be considered breakfast. They just provided packed items/snacks so a proper freshly made breakfast wasn't provided. I didn't think the staff were very hospitable either.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was larger that I expected and it was very clen and cozy. The location is great accessible to good dining and the beach.
Cons: I liked everything about it.

Pros: Close to beach , great value
Cons: Not a good breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to the beach.
Cons: No ice machine.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was great comfortable beds and decent breakfast spread
Cons: Did not meet expectation of quality and luxury for the price paid per night. Microwave didn’t work and refrigerator would only make a soda ice cold if left in freezer portion. Night staff lady could be friendlier lack of comprehension is noticeable with a superiority complex
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Miramar was a excellent value. Clean, comfortable and great. The staff was attentive.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location only a mile from an awesome beach, as well as restaurants and the center of town. Its small but very comfortable and quaint. Staff was very kind and I would totally book here again.
Cons: I thought it was great, but if you expect a larger spread for a continental breakfast, then it may not be for you. I personally had coffee and would then walk the beach in the morning, and that was perfect for me.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice people who answered my few questions about the area even though I've been there before. I liked my room it was very nice and clean and a decent size. Nice bathroom decent size. Shower water pressure was very good. Good location close to the beaches. There was an ironing board and a safe that I didn't use, barely watched the TV but it worked fine.
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. The rooms were smaller than I thought but very nice and clean. Very quiet even though we faced the freeway. The bathroom was very small that the sink was outside the bathroom next to the bed ...lol. But the pillows and the bed were super comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if need to. Very good price.

Pros: The bed was comfy and the staff were kind. Best two star hotel I've ever stayed in - by a long way.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was right off the 5 freeway, just a few blocks from the beach. There was plenty of local places to eat nearby. The staff was super friendly and had lots of recommendations for us. The room was so clean and spacious and had a balcony.
Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: Loved it!! We had the honeymoon suite it was perfect.
Cons: Our room the terrace with the ocean view and sunsets was beautiful
4,6 Okay
Pros: The room was large. The bed was comfortable
Cons: The hotel was old and dated. There was a musty smell in the room. The parking was terrible we had to park in an alley way along with the homeless folks. There was a balcony that was so loud from the freeway you really couldn't enjoy the open door. There was also a light on the balcony that was on all night, lighting up the room and making it too bright to sleep.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location is great for distance to Camp Pendleton gate . Fridge in room
Cons: Not enough pillows in the beds . Usually there’s more than 2 - no breakfast .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Never ate the breakfast but the staff were so friendly and helpful that it was an absolute pleasure to stay there
Cons: It was all great
8,8 Excellent
Pros: No breakfast available. Rooms were plain but extremely clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. It was a little far from the beach, but it was priced fairly.
Cons: Location was a bit tough, but all in all, I would stay there again if I had a tight budget.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Friendliest possible staff. Treated me like they already knew me and remembered my name even though it was my first visit. Location was very close to attractions. Room was cleaned spotlessly. Good-sizes refrigerator.
Cons: Parking can be tricky when the small lot next to the office fills. They explain it well at check-in, though.

Pros: Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Close proximity to beaches. Bed was comfortable. thanks
Cons: Breakfast had good selection but scrambled eggs were mush, no consistency just terrible.
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff in general was very nice! The bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. They have a small fridge and a microwave in the bedroom as well. If you come to San Clemente looking for surf spots, the location is perfect! Walking distance to Trestles surf spot.
Cons: Unfortunately there is a lot of plastic waste. During breakfast everything (cups, plates, cutlery) is made out of plastic or paper, and this generates a huge amount of waste everyday. The pool wasn't very clean either and the elevator could use some maintenance on the door. The water inside the pool was good, but inside the hot tub was way too hot!

Pros: Great price great location friendly staff

Pros: Loved the breakfast all the usual goodies all fresh.
Cons: Hey the telephone didn't work I had to Pry the hand up switch up to make a call then it was crackeling and the audio was intermittant. The handset in my rooms needs to see a trash can.

Pros: Location is perfect for getting on to the motorway and restraints are just a few minutes drive down the road. Rooms were clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. Parking is included but is very tight. The area felt very safe and welcoming
Cons: Parking was very tight, we had a small car and it couldn't fit in the front car parks near our room so we had to park around the back. The bed was so high you had to either jump to get in or hoist one leg up haha

Pros: the location was great, the breakfast was good and the room size
Cons: no
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Near of Trestles beach access. Free parking Includes breakfast Near (in car) from downtown
Cons: Use of disposable dishes! Please, show that planet cares. Breakfast has a few options There's no 3 bed option, just a Sofa-Bed Elevator old and dangerous

Pros: Good stay, good 2.5 star hotel. Room smelled like bleach really bad. I believe the cleaning crew put bleach in the tub and forgot to rinse it off. No big deal, we turned the bath water on and closed bathroom door and the chlorine smell went away.
Cons: We asked for a late check out and the gal at the front desk said 11:30 am. I asked for 12:00 noon and she said no because someone already rented the room. Come on, who rented room 337 on a Sunday?
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at a upper floor room as requested. Small patio was nice although it was possible the ajoining room next door could access my room if they were bad people. Not probable, but possible. Decent stay and not overpriced.
Cons: Overall a nice place to stay. Nothing fancy, but not bad. A bit out of the way from the San Clemente pier area, but just 10 minutes away. Good value and I will come back again.
5,4 Okay
Cons: One night the toilet didn’t work and the next day the cleaning person didn’t clean the coffee pot. The air conditioner is very noisy.

Pros: Close to the beach

Pros: My husband and I arrived on the train in San Clemente and walked up to the B and B! Frieda was not home, but gave us the code to get in and was so sorry she was not there to greet us! She volunteers with the senior center and was with them! I love that lady! We got into the house and our room was lovely! The house was so cool, full of treasures from friedas travels! Again, I just adored her! We are vegetarian and she made us special breakfasts! She is an amazing cook! We stayed two days and had an amazing time! The b and b provides, beach towels, chairs, coolers, boogie boards, water bottles, and whatever we needed! Such a great stay!

Pros: Freda made us comfortable and welcomed, and was happy to accommodate our needs. The place is very cozy; not at all stuffy feeling. The rooms are private with access to the beautiful patios right from the room. Each room is different and eclectic feeling. Freda recommended great restaurants which made our stay one for the books!

Pros: When we arrived the property owner wasn't aware we were coming thanks to booking.com not informing them. Subsequently the property owner found us a room at the Holiday Inn right next to the highway, a good 5 miles from the beach. The room was supposed to be an executive suite with a view of the ocean yet we were put on the bottom floor. My wife and I came hereabouts for our 39th wedding Anniversary. Yet spent all night listening to the traffic on the freeway and kids rrunning up and down the hall above us. I do recommend the Inn for what I saw of it but getting a reservation from booking.com is something I hope steer away from.
Cons: Having the room we were supposed to have, also I believe booking.com should comp the HORRIBLE room we were given at the Holiday Inn

Pros: The host is amazing!! She is just an incredible woman: her food is heaven, the place itself is so nicely decorated, you can feel the soul in everything. The breakfast was both one of the best breakfasts in my life and also the best mexican food I've ever tried. She cooks herself, and does different cuisines - everything is just delicious. Besides, she helped us to get around and feel like home, she even got us some cute souvenirs. This place is a pure gem!
