Good 7,0
Cons: My Lyft driver canceled three times and I had to hitch a ride with another customer. A shuttle or guarantee is need for people reaching flight on time
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Clean and accessible
Cons: The WIFI wasn’t that great
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location! Pool area fantastic, great view and wonderful walking trails. Close to food. On site Starbucks that had what I needed to start my day. Staff was very helpful and took care of getting us to the airport. They are not using their shuttle service but they booked us a lyft and covered the cost to the airport. Fantastic service!
Excellent 8,8
Cons: Hotel elevator needed upgrading. Very small and shaky
Okay 4,2
Cons: Way too high for a mediocre place. Place just seemed run down. It was loud too. Place is just serviceable and I chose it for convenience sake. For what I paid, I expected much better.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Nice staff, great location, nice rooms, clean hotel in general. Good breakfast area and selection.
Cons: Worlds slowest elevator. Tv's in rooms not HD.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: Can't think of anything to write.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: our family suite was great for us! 2 bedrooms and bathrooms for our family and grandma! full kitchen too. what a great place. staff close to so attractions. awesome breakfast. my boys loved making waffles everyday.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Nice location . Close to all attractions. Friendly staff.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I loved our spacious suite and the options for the complementary breakfast.
Good 6,0
Pros: The location was very nice. Great view. And the complimentary breakfast was good!
Cons: We had a 2 bedroom suite but the bedrooms themselves were so tiny. We could barely move in there. The linen seemed pretty clean but then we found a condominium wrapper on the floor and we have small children. I informed front desk that one of the bathroom sinks had very low water pressure and they just said thanks for letting them know; they didn’t seem to care too much.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: A great place to stay with family. Away from downtown noise, five minutes drive to downtown! Different types of kitchen ( Mexican, Greek, sushi, brewery, even Starbucks) 1 minute walk away. Great staff, special thanks to Liz! Great variety of hot breakfast.
Excellent 9,7
Cons: Only complaint is the water heater was a bit bipolar. I've stayed here before, but in the other building, and didn't have that issue.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: All staff very nice accommodating and helpful!!! We had hide a bed issue and a memory foam pad was brought to us. We had a phone dropped in toilet and rice was found for us. We had toilet leak and repairman was out to fix within 1 hour and he even made arrangements for fresh bath mat to be brought to our room!! Very impressed!! Love walkway and seating area outside!!!
Cons: Too small of a room for price. No door between bedroom and sink and light area therefore always woke up other person as getting ready
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel. We stayed for a local triathlon and it was perfect.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: It was clean and located within walking distance from Old Town San Diego
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The service, location, and the cleanliness above all
Cons: Everything was good
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The location is only a few miles from the car rental center. It was the first time since the pandemic that the room was cleaned on a nightly basis in my experience.
Cons: The internet wasn't reliable. I would get on, do some work, go off, try to get back on and couldn't, even with the correct user name and password. It just wasn't consistent.
Good 6,0
Pros: Very sparse
Cons: Breakfast options
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The location was convenient. The rooms and grounds were really clean. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the softness of the mattress. The staff were super friendly.
Cons: The bed was too soft and lumpy for my taste. I will say that I am pretty picky. My husband had no problem with it.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: We requested and received a very quiet room. The room and hotel overall were very clean and the staff friendly. Free breakfast options included steel cut oats, no-crust quiche, and waffles. We had the oats, which were good. The fresh fruit was also high quality: oranges, green apples, and bananas. We didn't try the pool.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We love San Diego and the Old Town Inn. We always stay there
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Located close to airport for flights out. Located close to public transit and Old Town District.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location. Very walkable to so many things restaurants
Cons: The beds..hard
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location was amazing. Staff was friendly and room was very clean.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Staff was very friendly. The breakfast is lacking but COVID is what it is. The room seemed very clean and we were pleased to get a-joining rooms even though we weren't guaranteed. We would stay here again.
Cons: No complaints really. The breakfast isn't phenomenal but I understand because of COVID. I would have liked to see more luggage carts available.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean, very friendly staff, great location! Definitely would stay here again!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location, and comfortable stay
Good 7,0
Pros: Na
Cons: Parking was very small. We didn’t have a view of the water. Mattresses were not comfortable.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Everything
Cons: That we had to leave
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located in downtown San Diego. It was spotless. The breakfast was actually served next door, and it was delicious!
Cons: They didn’t have a shuttle driver available when we arrived at the airport. However, we were told to take a cab, get a receipt, and they would reimburse me, which they did as soon as I checked in.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Typical BW facilities that are dependable. Great location. Ten minutes drive from airport and zoo. Easy walking to many downtown, bayside activities and restaurants.
Cons: Toilet not very effective at flushing waste. Breakfast choices somewhat limited compar s to some other BW’s.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was great, walking distance to Little Italy, the bay, and so much more!
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Loved the location. It was within walking distance to the star of India ship.
Cons: The wall beside one of the beds in the room was filthy.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent location, airport shuttle, close to public transportation, breakfast included
Cons: Parking fee
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The included breakfast as well as the shuttle to and from the airport
Okay 4,8
Pros: There is a free shuttle to/from the airport. Each room contains a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, safe, hair dryer, and iron. I was given a voucher for free breakfast buffet in the attached restaurant and the staff kept it well-stocked, even when it was nearly time to end the buffet. I flew in early and the hotel let me check in early without charging an extra fee.
Cons: There were several issues with the condition of the room. The refrigerator, TV, microwave, and lamp were all broken. I attempted to restart the fridge and the TV by unplugging from surge protector and plugging directly into socket, trying different sockets, etc. but was unable to get them going again. A very nice maintenance man did some trouble-shooting and was able to get them working with a bit of effort. The switch on the lamp was bent, loose, and shorted out. Cleanliness was also a problem, maybe because of my early check-in. A used towel was stuffed under the safe in the closet. One bar of soap in the bathroom had gotten wet and was unusable. There was a curly hair on the bathroom counter. There was no lotion. Overall, the experience was NOT what I expected from a $200 per night hotel and I do not recommend it.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great location, very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Even though the hotel was unconstruction, it had great service. Good room for a good price. We only stayed for one night and everything was great. No complains about anything. Highly recommended this hotel its rest the pier and has good restaurants near as well.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The view from the balcony was a direct line to the waterfront and the Star of India. The room was very clean. Breakfast is provided at the attached restaurant which is a nice facility. Transportation is provided to and from the airport and to the cruise ship terminal. The location is convenient to walk to Seaport Village, Little Italy, local bus line, the zoo, Gaslamp district, multiple other restaurants, as well as pharmacies and shopping. There is no need for a car.
Cons: The lobby area is being remodeled and I knew that when I booked. It was a little dusty, but not inconvenient in any way. However, although the rooms are very clean, the furniture, wall coverings, and carpet are looking a little tired and worn out and in my opinion, these are the areas which should be updated.
Good 6,0
Pros: location , friendly
Cons: construction, unable to find my reservation for quite sometime. not in the system and had to go to main office to get it cleared up
Excellent 8,8
Pros: It was close to the water. Very comfortable. Remodeling so it will even be better when that is completed.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: My stay here was great and coming back as soon as I can. Hopefully the restaurants open up because the place has a beautiful garden
Cons: the restaurant was closed but hopefully they open in the future
Good 7,0
Pros: Staff very friendly. Room quaint.
Cons: Very noisy from traffic & train station. My previous room was shielded from this noise. It caught me by surprise. The breakfast was lacking, understandable due to COVID restrictions. Clawfoot tub not a good option for showering.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Liked Robin our hostesss
Cons: Service was great
Okay 5,0
Pros: That is was historical and the area got to look around in old Town but not everything was open in old Town
Cons: The room was extremely small and the bed was not comfortable an barley fit 2 people they were just getting ready to start putting breakfast after 8am an we were leaving so we didn't get anything.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Love the location of the Cosmo, Old Town is such a unique location within San Diego that should be experienced by all who visit. I stayed in the Ysadora Bandini suite (Rm 11), and although I am sad to say I didn’t experience any paranormal happenings during my stay the room itself was very welcoming and comfortable, I especially liked the rustic bathroom features. Robin the manager is an absolute delight, she and her staff will handle anything you could possibly need.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 8,0
Cons: That everything wasn’t open, eg, common areas, saloon, etc.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: It was comfortable.
Cons: Sucks that the downstairs area was closed, so we were unable to experience the hotel in full.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was amazing and super friendly, from the moment we arrived. The gal the met us at the front desk was very informative and walked is up to our suite, she really made our anniversary stay memorable from the very beginning. When arriving after our walk through old town we had a need for ice and without even asking one of the hotel staff came up and accommodated us and took our drinks and set them on ice in a bucket. Definitely will be coming back to stay again.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: I Booked this for my boyfriend and I to stay and attend the Chargers/Raiders game and not have to worry about the traffic. I did it the day of and didn't really look into the hotel much bc it was just easy and right next to the trolley line. To my surprise there wasnt a TV or a phone ..... I didn't even miss it and just enjoyed not having it but I did tend to use my phone to play music. But it was so relaxing and well worth not having those items in the room. The staff was more the amazing and the ghosts in room 9 were definitely making themselves known which made it even more interesting. It was nice to roam around Old Town over the weekend but was bummed that it closed down so early. I've stayed all over in all kinds of hotels and by far this one stands out in my experience and it's nice for family and for couples to go and have a stay-cation to recharge battery's
Cons: I personally loved the bed you just sunk right into it but unfortunately my boyfriend is very tall so it was kind of a tight squeeze for him. I Personally liked the tight squeeze haha but as far as making it comfortable for someone his size a much larger bed would of been nice. Also I wish the bar in the restaurant would stay open later as a place for hotel guests to hang out once Old Town closes down.

Good 7,0
Pros: The view from the back deck
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Really good
Cons: Wish we could afford to stay longer it's our fourth time here
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely views. Staff was friendly, parking was reasonable and secure.
Cons: I paid extra for a balcony suite…technically there was a balcony, but one certainly couldn’t sit on it (see photo). Also, with the lovely view it would be nice to have a seating area to be able to enjoy it while having a drink.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Loved our room! We had a balcony overlooking the marina and all the beautiful boats. The location was perfect for us because we could walk everywhere and the beach was right across the street.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Angelo who worked at the reception desk was friendly, professional and helpful
Okay 5,0
Pros: Location
Cons: They didn't have enough staff to take care of the customer . They made a mistake on my reservation .
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very nice, right on the water, friendly/professional staff.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: From the first initial telephone conversation, to checking out, we had a very pleasant experience. They were accommodating when we arrived a bit too early. Every single staff person we encountered was friendly and attentive. The room was so fabulous and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the beach across the street and walked all over the island, taking in the views. We came here to relax and get away from a horrible Airbnb experience & that’s exactly what we got. Bonus, the Quarterdeck restaurant is in the lobby and they have great menus! If you’re in search of a tranquil and relaxing experience, please check this place out. The prices are pretty good for the area too.
Cons: I have thought about this question & honestly, the only thing I can think of is; they don’t offer complimentary razors, but that’s not even an issue.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Bed good/ no breakfast was served.
Cons: Close pool and pool bar at 10 pm so rooms right above Can sleep with patio door open!
Good 6,5
Pros: Pool was clean and pretty quiet. This hotel is ok for a one-nighter before an early flight out of San Diego but I wouldn’t stay here otherwise.
Cons: Main reason we reserved here was because of free shuttle to airport, however it has limited hours of operation and our flight left early (9 am, so we had to get there by 7 am), and the shuttle didn’t run that early. Person at the desk placed an order for ground transpo for us that evening, but the morning shift desk staff couldn’t find any record of it. So we had to scramble last minute, which completely negated the reason we stayed there in the first place: to have a nice low-stress airport transfer. Otherwise, room fixtures & furnishings needed updating.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The price was perfect. The beds are comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect and having a view of the water was great! Breakfast was a little pricey (like it is in California) but it was delicious. It's really a great little hotel!
Cons: Only con was that there was no fan in the bathroom to draw out the steam after a shower.
Excellent 10,0
Loved my view of the bay and the marina. Older place and a little worn, the doors and carpet but the rooms are nicely done and clean. All the workers were friendly and helpful, starting with Micheala who checked us in and the lady who served us breakfast. We thought we needed a late check out and it was immediately granted. Hated to leave and would have liked to stay another night. Loved the soaps in the bathrooms and the complimentary Solar Rain premium ultra pure artisan water was truly appreciated. The beds offered a great rest after a long day of golf at Torrey Pines and the balcony view could not be beat. I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved my view of the bay and the marina. Older place and a little worn -- the doors and carpet, but the rooms are nicely done and clean. All the workers were friendly and helpful -- starting with Micheala who checked us in and the lady who served us breakfast. We thought we needed a late check out and it was immediately granted. Hated to leave and would have liked to stay another night. Loved the soaps in the bathrooms and the complimentary Solar Rain premium ultra pure artesian water was truly appreciated. The beds offered a great rest after a long day of golf at Torrey Pines and the balcony view could not be beat. The only real complaint we had was that this hotel was not as convenient to the places we wanted to visit during our stay.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great bed...clean, close to entertainment.
Cons: My "server" was in a strange mood. He ignored taking my order 10+ minutes. He didn't fulfill a simple request, place half my order in a box. A fellow server saw his lack of professionalism and actually did his job.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff and location were great. This is a great place to stay out in the Point Loma area, with a great view on either side of the complex and an exceptional staff.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Everything went will with our stay at this property. Staff, was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean but bathroom small in size. Not enough counterspace to set up your toiletries or makeup when getting ready for a night out. Loved the location, near the marina. Hotel is near the Gaslamp District where you can enjoy a nice walk with a lot eateries and sights to see.
Cons: Did not know there was a Marathon the day of our check in which made it a mission to get to our hotel with all the roads leading to our hotel were blocked off or closed.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Love the location, close to the park for the kids, close enough to walk to to the Gas Lamp for adults. Close enough to Sea Port Village for both.
Cons: That half of the balcony/terrace was closed off. The past few years it was all opened. Not this time.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Everything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great views, amazing beds, spacious rooms, excellent free breakfast in the morning, nice staff, clean rooms, and one of the best locations in the downtown area. Excellent value for the price with short walks to anywhere in the downtown and along the bay, or if you don't want to walk it is a $4~ Uber to Gaslamp/downtown. Will stay again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay downtown!

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Humphrey's has scenic tropical grounds along the bay water-front. The two-story buildings house rooms with updated beds, bathrooms, and patio furniture. The pool area is delightfully relaxing and the size of the "heated" pool is extra large. The skyline lights of downtown San Diego across the bay is enchanting. I am a " hotel snob" and this was a staycation for me. I recommend Humphrey's to my out of town guests repeatedly. This time, our group enjoyed a concert on the grounds. Breakfast the next day in the restaurant was delicious while I sat in modern luxury. What a great venue!!
Cons: The price was high for my guests, even when splitting the bill (cheapskates). The pool is nicer than the Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi should be re-done. Please look into repairing the loose rails along the Jacuzzi steps.
Okay 4,0
Pros: good location. nice restaurants close by. park and bay across the street.
Cons: surprise trip for hubby. asked for bay view room when i made res. way in advance. called hotel day before to confirm but did not get the room requested! also said other nice things would be waiting for my hubby's birthday. we got absolutely nothing! this place is far too expensive for what you get but i guess its because its in a pretty area. its about $400 and up per night. if they have a concert there plan to spend much more!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Had reserved a Garden View Suite and was upgraded to Marina View. Nice big balcony overlooking the Marina was a great way to enjoy night. Can not beat the room size and amenities (fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, etc.) and would be a great option for a family on a budget.
Cons: Room was a little dated and had to call out maintenance as the room safe was not working properly. Not a big deal, as maintenance came shortly after the call was placed and took care of it.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Unique
Cons: Need more trashcans located in room and i guess no more daily housekeeping.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great location, clean, comfortable and great staff!
Cons: A little pricey for us.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Peaceful and beautiful place!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Rooms are great! Atmosphere was enjoyable.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: My wife and children ate in the restaurant - I was away on a business meeting. They loved the food and said the staff were really nice.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: great place a little expensive but worth it
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Have been here many times before. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Decent accomodations; clean, well-maintained. Great concerts!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Views of the marina were wonderful, staff was helpful
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Nice comfortable room. Great location.
Cons: Enjoyed everything
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Grounds were well kept on this island themed resort. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, really made you feel like a welcomed guest.
Cons: Rooms were spacious and comfortable but needs a little maintenance. We had wall paper peeling in some areas and we found some items in a cabinet left from previous guests.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Went to see a concert at Humphreys and the customer service and location were great all around....... I'll be back.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Killer desk staff. Highly accommodating ..great rooms, happy family.... Didn't want to leave
Cons: Having to move out
Okay 5,4
Pros: Really pretty location and views. Process of getting in and out was awesome. Also very cute rooms.
Cons: The Ac wasn't working at first (was fixed later), our bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, extremely noisy in the morning, and ceiling was ugly.
Good 7,7
Pros: It's good overall, nice location and near the harbor
Cons: Sink in the bathroom smells bad, needs to be cleaned.
Okay 4,8
Pros: Shelter Island is beautiful, the concert area in very nice, and the live music was pleasant. The room itself had a nice, large TV and new amenities. The shower had good pressure and the restroom was clean and large.
Cons: The bed was HORRIBLE. It was extremely loud and springy, and uncomfortable. There is a ridiculous $10 "resort fee" AND a $15 parking fee on top of that! The staff was generally okay, but the manager was unpleasant and unsympathetic: I had called ahead to try and see if we could check-in 2 hours early. The staff member was able to accommodate our early check-in by giving us a small upgrade in room (premier no-view to premier with view). I thanked the staff member and was very pleased. HOWEVER, once we got there on the day of our check-in we were attended by a manager who quickly informed us that she had not 'approved' the upgrade and therefore could not check-in for another hour. She also made sure to tell us that she knew we made our reservation online (something she apparently looked down on) and that there actually were several vacant rooms at the time we arrived, but would still have to wait an hour. That was downright rude.
Okay 4,5
Cons: There was a lack of organization. We were assigned occupied rooms twice. The final room assignment needed housekeeping before we could settle in. The walls were extremely thin resulting in disturbingly loud night time noise. The carpeting was very old and smelled stale. As a result we never felt comfortable in this room.
Good 7,0
Pros: The location.
Cons: We did not appreciate the "Resort Fees" It's a rip off. They are trying to pass on their cost to doing business to the customer. We had it removed. I am getting sick of these type of charges. I will not go their again if the "Resort Fees" are in place, nor any other accommodation that try the rip off. In the years past, I favored Half-Moon. When they appreciated the customer and didn't try tricks. PS We were not notified in advance of the charges. That's sneaky. I wonder why? Take a guess.
Mediocre 2,6
Pros: The concert was good, but fold up seats jammed together too close.
Cons: I booked a king premiere room months before our stay. Put into a queen. The carpet outside the bathroom on both sides was soaked from leaking shower or air conditioner. Patio had a "view" of the parking lot. Staff totally did not care, manager said room times booked are not guaranteed. I showed them the copy of the internet page that said "king premiere." So sorry they said, but it was not believable.

Pros: The location was good, room was cleanish, and the staff was nice.
Cons: Where to start, the packing spaces in the front to use when you go in to register, are way too close together and too close to the entry from the road. The shuttle parked so close to me that the customer being picked up couldn’t get in until I moved. I couldn’t reverse out of the spot because someone pulled in to drop an employee off. The one body towel that was provided in the room was dirty and a few of the side towels were dirty as well. I was also charged $50 more than the price I was given on booking.com I did however get 30 of it back. But that was still $20 more than I had originally agreed to. When I asked for a receipt, I was told it’d be emailed to me and it never was. I had to find out how much I was actually charged by checking my bank statement.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The friendly staff and very accommodating.
Cons: The noise from the highway. Also the breakfast sandwiches were not good
Okay 4,0
Cons: I just expected more it was ok the beds was not comfortable at all. But I would not stay here again the staff was not that friendly they charged me extra some how and I didn't feel like fighting it to much energy on my birthday weekend.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The beds were super comfy and the bathroom shower was nice.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Cons: I didn't care for being told that there was a parking surcharge that was hidden in the fine print. All charges should up front on the first web page of the site.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was clean & comfortable. There was a fair amount of variety to the complimentary breakfast. Great local shuttle service, including to the Marine Corp graduation services. Would recommend.
Cons: The down side to this hotel is the location. The hotel is sandwiched between I-5 and a very busy street. The noise level could be intolerable to some.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: I liked the breakfast, coffee bar, location to downtown, Old Town, and Little Italy as well as the wedding venue we attended. Everyone was friendly and smiled. Security parking was a great plus as we had a new car and feared there would be issues.
Cons: Some things to consider changing include attention to details. 1. Be sure to leave an extra roll of toilet paper in the room at all times 2. Put screens on the windows facing the freeway as the room was extremely humid 3. Towels should not have holes in them even if they are smaller than a dime 4. Overall ventilation in the room was challenging between the humidity created by the shower and lack of ventilation in the bathroom to the swamp cooler in the room that just created more humidity. 5. Need more full sized parking spaces and more if possible. 6. Have rooms that are joined and allow for families to stay in a junior suite; requires less parking.
Good 6,0
Pros: Close to tourist attractions (Old Town).
Cons: Horrible parking situation. Tiny rooms that are poorly decorated. Tiny bathroom and shower.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: They have shuttle service. Very convenient when exploring sd.
Good 6,5
Pros: Free Breakfast and wifi
Cons: Staff wasn't very friendly, welcoming helpful upon arrival

Pros: Room was nice, nice view Loved that is pet friendly!
Cons: Pool wasnt clean Parking fee $25 per night!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The view and location were amazing. The staff was very attentive and helpful.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a delivery staff at the pool. We had to order food from the restaurant and carry them out to the pool ourselves. Also, one of the 2 rooms I booked didn't get cleaned.

Cons: Room was never cleaned for one night of our stay.
Excellent 10,0
Conveniently situated near SD airport, shuttle services are available as well. Stunning view of the ocean and a nice breeze from my room. Facilities were nicely maintained. Was there for a conference, hotel conference rooms were large and clean. Catering was good and the staff was professional. While it is near the airport, the hotel is a little far from downtown SD. However, there is a bus stop nearby, or one could consider using Uber or taking a taxi.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Awesome views of the San Diego skyline and the ships passing by. A peaceful stay away from the road noise in the heart of town.
Cons: A bit of a drive to the Gaslamp District and Old Town San Diego. Live music in the bar is rather loud, but the outside seating minimizes that.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This Hilton had a quiet peaceful atmosphere. You don't even know you are near the airport. It's location is gorgeous. It's right on the bay with a walking/jogging/biking path along the water. The rooms were very nice, new and clean! This is now pretty rare but the staff was friendly, helpful and truly wanted to us happy. I don't say this lightly. We loved our visit.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: I had a good beer in the bar, and the bed was soft.
Cons: The shuttle driver was quite polite from there on besides the bed it was terrible customer service at the front desk, the pea soup green and brown color scheme made me want to get sick even before the over priced breakfast made my girlfriend and I after we paid for a breakfast that was terrible, sitting next to be 1 ounce and $4 dollar juice cup. I will probably never stay at a Hilton branded hotel again after this stay. I drove the entire coast, stayed in hotels the whole way and I would stay in motel 6 before this hotel again.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We enjoyed our stay. Great Marina view and clean hotel.
Cons: The beds are too small for people with small children.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Clean well appointed and connected to airport

Pros: The marina view was great, lots of boats, very relaxing and visually appeasing. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect.
Cons: The room didn't have a fridge, but the ice machine was across the hall. The parking fee is $21.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast was amazing!
Cons: The breakfast was amazing!
Good 7,0
Pros: Location and architecture of the hotel. It was very convwnient to have a restaurant in the hotel. Views were amazing.
Cons: First room smelled like cigarrette so i called front desk and they gave us a new room. Carpet was ripped where the restroom was divided.
Poor 1,0
Pros: Reception staff was nice.
Cons: Hotel was old and run down. The pictures online did not match the room. The toilet kept on backing up and getting clogged and we never received clean linen or towels.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The classic
Cons: Breakfast
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: That I had to pay for parking. Extra $25 charge I don't know what it was for.
Excellent 8,5
Great location in heart of Old Town. Great for visit there or Sea World. Nice facilities. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Restaurant on property serves wonder buffet breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. Staff very friendly and does a great job. But the free WiFi was useless. It was so slow, dropped so many times.
Okay 4,2
Pros: We usually stay here and have a good experience, but we are disappointed they gave us a room right next to the tequila bar. We have young children and they were up all night because of the music in the bar. Also parking is a nightmare, $12 or not it was difficult to figure out which building was connected to which parking lot.
Cons: The room key didn't work when we got to the room, the staff had to "check" to see if our reserved room was even available. The breakfast buffet was not refreshed more than once, by the time we ate at 8 am everything was stale and cold or dried out. If people pay for a stay and are allowed a buffet, at least make it seem like you care enough to keep the food fresh. Wait staff was practically non existent if you had a voucher, but if you were paying cash you got all you needed.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Everything was awesome except for the odd location of our hotel room. However, it was a beautiful room with a beautiful view.
Cons: I stayed in the 600 building. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the location of my room. It is a good walking distance from the lobby. You actually have to go past the hotel lobby, make a right at the next street, go up the hill and then you'll reach the 600 building. The directions they gave were exactly on point and made it easier to find.
Good 7,1
Pros: great location
Cons: no working ice machines- staff sent us to 2 different locations with no elevator service- and none worked looked like the hadn't worked for months
Excellent 10,0
The hotel and location were absolutely fantastic.. The only issue is the stairs if you have someone that is not a great stair climber the elevators are not easily found.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Rooms good space- How CLEAN the rooms are and the small extras provided ..Water btls- coffee extra Towels on request. Hotel in the center on the city street event. perfect for walking no- car traveling. needed. Hotel Cafe available again very nice. all the staff ready to serve and extremely friendly. We have enjoy our 2nd year now at this Hotel. we had a Fabulous stay!!!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The Hacienda came through for us with flying Mexican colors on Cinco de Mayo Weekend The hotel staff must be commended from Jesus the Hotel Manager to Celine on front desk staff to Kasandra in house keeping. You all deserve a big Cinco de Mayo Gracias!! What a view and sounds of the Old Town Cinco de Mayo festivities from our balcony. Muchas Gracias Hacienda - we'll be back !!!
Cons: Nada !!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Traveling on business - very easy access from airport and to the clients I worked with. There is plenty to do within walking distance being in Old Town - or you can stay at the Hacienda and enjoy their amenities. The staff at the Hacienda were welcoming and accommodating to any request that I had.
Okay 5,4
Cons: Hotel advertises they have shuttle service, called before booking to confirm shuttle service but was never told its within certain hours and areas. construction going on, detour is pretty bad when you are at the end of the hotel.
Good 6,0
Pros: It was in a fantastic location close to Old Town, and San Diego State Park. Rooms had small kitchen with all necessities available for our use. Breakfast was included
Cons: WiFi didn't work consistently, property too spread out. Had to go through so many gates, and up and down stairs to get to pool, and restaurant where breakfast was served. Depending on who was on duty, the desk clerks were rather passe' about helping us figure out how the bus system worked, or answering questions about the property and how to find the pool, restaurant, etc. One night we used the elevator to get up to the restaurant to go to dinner, and by the time we were finished with dinner and on the top floor, the elevator was out of order, and we had to use the stairs. For us this was no problem, but we saw a woman who could hardly walk, and what was she supposed to do in this situation? I do have to say that we liked the location so much that we will probably stay at the BW Hacienda again. If I had small children, all the stairs would have been a nightmare!!
Good 6,0
Pros: The view was beautiful
Cons: There was no parking in my section of room stay so I had to park and the other side of the building and to top that off I had to go up 75 stair steps 4 total flights because the elevator was out of service with luggage it was even harder very disappointed with that situation
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The venue and area was so beautiful. It had everything there. Will definitely come back
Cons: The elevator was broken.
Good 7,7
Pros: Location was across the street from Old Town.
Cons: Finding parking on the street on a weekend was almost impossible. You have to buy a parking pass from the hotel for an extra $16 per day.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: location, layout of hotel (multi-levels, outdoor), clean rooms, beautiful views,
Cons: pay for parking, confusing layout of hotel, rooms were a little outdated
Excellent 8,5
Pros: I liked the location, cleanliness, and that there is a restaurant/bar on site. The airport shuttle is a plus.
Cons: The shuttle services only takes you to the airport, the restaurant/bar is expensive, and the layout is confusing if you stay in building 6. To get to building 6 you have to go up stairs unless you can park in the parking garage.the doors have gaps under them so small critters can get underneath.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location was great
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This is a beautiful Hotel above San diego's Old Town with rooms in different buildings set on the hill, The look is old Spanish style with open patios and fountains and an amazing view all the way to the bay. There is a very good Mexican restaurant on the premises with breakfast included that is much better than your average included breakfast. The staff was courteous and helpful and they seemed to like working there. I was there 4 days on business and very much enjoyed my stay.
Cons: The only issue might be for those who are challenged with stairs.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The View and the Restaraunt
Cons: Some of the staff were less than gracious, but not too bad.
Good 7,4
Pros: Unique design, vaulted ceilings make the space feel open, great location to explore Old Town for a day, check in staff was friendly and helpful., reasonable rate.
Cons: Rooms can be noisy, there are tables outside the rooms and a loud group was seated right outside our room till after 1:30am. Check out staff was not friendly or helpful. Restaurant wasn't great.
Okay 5,1
Pros: The location.
Cons: The outdated Decour. Did not like the complementary breakfast.
Okay 5,4
Pros: I loved the proximity of the hotel to Old Town San Diego.
Cons: The people at the front desk were always in an awful mood. The girl at check in was very rude and did not make us feel welcomed at all. Also $14 a night for parking? No thank you!
Okay 4,8
Pros: The staff was welcoming and friendly, but that could not make up for the distance and elevation from the front desk to the upper, back rooms of the property. No good way to drive close so we were forced to trek up several flights of stairs with heavy suitcases. There was no help offered. Even the free margaritas will not bring me back.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: When we asked the hotel staff about a good place for breakfast, he physically walk the us around the corner and pointed out several locations. I thought that was awesome!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was excellent.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location
Cons: Small room
Good 7,0
Pros: The property is simple. The location is awesome.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: That it was in the heart of Little Italy
Cons: The bed needs to be replaced, every movement created a noise. The fan in the restroom also needs to be replaced, it was really loud.
Excellent 9,7
Fantastic staff. Continental breakfast was just right. Rooms a good size, showers could use a deep clean, but were OK. Would definitely stay again just based on the staff alone.
Excellent 8,8
Very pleasant welcome, room was ready before check-in, excellent location!
Okay 5,7
Pros: Friendly staff, good location for downtown SD access
Cons: Hotel is an old building, and it shows its age. Rooms are tiny, floors are uneven, pipes are exposed, walls are dented and dirty. TV only has a few channels and the remote only half worked (had to turn it on manually). Mattresses are rock hard. For over $100/night, this is mediocre.
Good 7,7
Pros: I liked how friendly and helpful the staff was! Always willing to help & answer any questions, & attentive! Always asked if I was ok or if we needed housekeeping!
Cons: The bathroom wasn’t as clean as we wished & definitely needs fixing, falling apart. Also, the room had a weird smell to it, seemed like it was the covers on the bed.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: -The room was cute and small -The bed was comfy -Bathroom area had bright light to do makeup properly -Breakfast was decent -Toiletries and amenities provided, fridge and microwave in the room made it easy to keep leftovers -Hairdryer (call the front desk) -Great neighborhood, close to harbor (10 minute walk), I felt safe as a single woman traveling alone, 5 minute drive/20 minute walk to downtown
Cons: -There was construction going on directly outside my window... I opened my window and there was literally a man on scaffolding looking back at me. I know that is short term-- but was quite alarming when it happened!
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The hotel was located close to Little Italy, Downtown and the bay. There were free rides offered by the city that would take you anywhere downtown for free Fri, Sat and Sun. There were also pedicabs for a fee $15-25 per person. The hotel itself was clean and easy to get to. The room was unique is size, but was not small. The hotel rooms are not your typical style since the building is older. They appear to be continuing to update and improve the hotel. There was also an amazing farmers market that happens every Saturday near the hotel. Free breakfast was also good, but limited in choices.
Cons: The parking situation wasn't ideal for larger vehicles. There were still renovations being completed while the hotel was open. The free breakfast needed a couple of more options.
Good 7,7
Pros: Close to Little Italy. Cute little quiet rooms with refrigerators & ours had a view of the ocean in the distance, 3rd floor. Walking distance to restaurants & nice neighborhood. Less than $100 and close to many things.
Cons: Delt with meters for limited parking but hotel had parking for $20. Also, one towel was dirty hung up and continental breakfast was small.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Courtesy of staff. Close location to town. Very quiet at night to sleep
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The location is amazing, the staff are beyond amazing. My only gripe with the place was the cleanliness around the windows which appeared to have black mold. This place is perfect if you don't mind a small room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Right around the corner from little Italy. Great food there. Short walk to the waterfront. Everything was a short drive away. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was just enough and presented nicely. Nice little clean BOUTIQUE hotel. It's right in the name. So it is not like a typical chain hotel. We would definitely stay again!
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Nice area. Not too touristy. I had one of the more spacious rooms and it was the perfect size. Very nice staff.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: This is a great hotel, in a great area (Little Italy), with amazing yummy breakfast and very helpful staff. The rooms are very clean, with microwave and a fridge. The value for the money is amazing.
Cons: Our room was very small, and you couldn't open the window (the AC wasn't enough) and it was a little suffocating.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Facility clean. Room cramped. Shower drain slow, shower pan filled with water while showing. Window air-conditioner effective but loud. Breakfast good but too few tables during morning rush.
Cons: Staff friendly and helpful. Facility clean. Room cramped. Shower drain slow, shower pan filled with water while showing. Window air-conditioner effective but loud. Breakfast good but too few tables during morning rush.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The breakfast with the fruit salad was refreshing and the croissants yummy! Access to a printer, a computer and internet. Staff (Guy at The front desk) was very nice and helpful. He deserves a raise!
Cons: No free parking even though I found a street parking. No hairdryer in the room, when I got the room it was hot in the room. In the morning I heard the people working on the building next door.
Okay 5,7
Pros: the television did not work. it did not had sign. There was a constant noise coming from the wall of my room - a snapp. Everything else was all right. I would come back there in despite this things.
Good 6,6
Pros: The location was excellent and was walking distance to nice restaurants and stores in the Little Italy area.
Cons: The room that we stayed in (a Double) was VERY small, with cement floors, so I found the online pictures to be deceiving. We also found hair on the bed sheets, which they replaced for us.
Okay 5,3
Pros: location was nice, close to Little Italy
Cons: NO parking - have to find it on the street or park in a day lot blocks away

Poor 1,0
Cons: Moldy smell the the room wet carpets and no comforter. Mild smell
Poor 1,0
Cons: I thought I was booking direct and it ended up being through booking.com. I apparently scheduled a non-refundable room. My trip was 2 days in San Juan Capistrano at the Marriott there and then 1 night old town. The event ended up being later Sunday and so I changed my registration there for another day and tried to cancel the Old town reservation. I was not able to even though I was staying at another Marriott. I will not use either Booking.com or Marriott again
Good 6,0
Pros: The elevator needs some major upgrading. Parking is s hassle.
Excellent 10,0
Cons: Staff was great.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From start to finish the service to the customer was outstanding
Excellent 8,5
Enjoyed our spacious room we had. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. We did have a problem with our tub not draining, but that was fixed promptly once we notified the staff. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful regardless of what the question was. They truly seemed to enjoy their jobs and were very patient. They also provided great dinner ideas. Pool and whirlpool itself were okay. The one negative aspect was the pool was outside; which is fine, but where the pool was located, it was in open view of the road where everyone was driving, walking, and other private residences. They might want to consider adding some shrubbery for privacy as I felt I was swimming in the middle of the street. Good stays overall.
Good 6,0
the room was very small
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The hotel was fine, really nothing major to complain about. There is a nice outdoor seating area for breakfast right next to the pool. I really like the nice seating area at the drop off zone which was great for waiting for an Uber.
Cons: Rooms seemed to be a bit on the small side. The closet was very small and in the bathroom, making it awkward to access it when sharing the room with someone else.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, and nice decor. The location is next to a freeway but that didn't bother us. The staff accommodated us by giving our group connected rooms.
Cons: Street parking is tough to find and parking in the hotel garage is $20 for overnight. The Market that they have for guests to get snacks and stuff was a bit too small.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy to access.
Cons: Loud freeway noise.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Conveniently located between downtown and Pacific Beach. Friendly and courteous staff, clean room. Will consider staying here again in the future.
Cons: Parking situation. Park on street for free otherwise.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good location, all the necessary amenities, very clean and comfortable, and great, pleasant, helpful staff
Cons: Have to pay to park in their garage

Okay 5,9
Location was great, nice amenities, yoga, gym, pool. We were at the Lannia -area— the room was old, smelled of chlorine, sliding door was heavy kept coming off track, the bed was comfy but the Pillows were awful absolutely no support. The $41 per night for parking is almost a dealbreaker.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location, and beautiful property.
Cons: Room smelt like someone had smoked in it before.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The area it's it is fantastic. Walked to Spanish Landing, less than a mile away. Pool was nice and they offer a cool pool too. Loved sitting at the fire pit at night. Seadoo rentals right there. Tennis court's, bikes and boards not used this time.
Cons: We had a room on 1st floor it smelled moldy and felt damp and humid. The air conditioning helped the damp and humid. Unfortunately the smell was still there.
Good 6,0
Pros: The pool
Cons: The refrigerator was so nasty it smelled so bad I opened it and it stunk up the whole room. The carpet was really dirty in the room as well.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: They did not have breakfasts in the hotel.
Cons: I did not like the location of my room.
Good 6,0
Pros: The view was gresr
Cons: Elevator was broken. The first room they gave us had a leak in the ceiling and the tub was backed up so we had to move rooms. Water pressure in the shower was really low
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Parking seemed too expensive. $41 overnight.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very nice property, friendly staff
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: The room was clean and our bed very comfortable
Cons: Wall cooler/heater did not work. Sliding glass door did not open properly, had to force it. Front door didn't close, had to lift and force shut Tub drain stopped up, tub improperly installed
Poor 1,9
Couldn’t get in to park EVERY time, had to wait long time to get out of parking because no body could get out. Got new keys to try for parking, didn’t work. Had to pay $40 to park but it was such a hassle and inconvenience made us late waiting to get out of the parking lot. Our room was awful, I paid for a balcony with a view of the water, and got a view of a wall. Will never stay here again. Rather pay cheaper and not have all the hassle we went through. The ONLY reason I booked this hotel was so my son could see the boats. Very disappointed
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location and although a daily resort fee charged, the “complimentary” activities offered by the site are very, very nice. I would definitely book again.
Cons: A better explanation of all the hotel amenities at checkin would be very helpful.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Liked the balcony and the view of the marina.
Cons: They need clean morem we stayed at their tower in the back not the main tower. It was ok.
Good 6,0
Pros: Locations are good and closed to everywhere
Cons: It’s would be better if we know there is a parking fees for this hotel before we booked.it wasn’t mentioned on the booking page. It was a surprise when we found out when we checked out
Good 6,0
Pros: Beds are comfortable, good coffee, nice view, clean bathroom.
Cons: Staff. When talking about the view I would have when I checked in she just shrugged and said all grumpy “well it’s gonna be dark soon anyway!”. This was firstly rude. Also ridiculous because the view at night is beautiful. But very off putting right when I’m checking in and getting charged more than anticipated for parking when you have a lot on the premise! Then when I wanted to stay another night I got the run around from the front desk, that they would not match the rate I was paying, told me to make a new reservation online, then online they wanted more than the front desk. So finally I did it with the front desk but all tolled it took me a half hour to organize what should have taken two minutes. Not good customer service. And I had a towel with a big brown stain. I paid a lot after getting gouged for parking ( specifically did not stay downtown because those hotels would charge for parking ) which was not revealed on the website getaroom through kayak. You should tell them to be completely transparent on things that do not allow for me to choose to say no thank you. Also the resort fee is just dumb. S’mores?? I was very disappointed in those things and was willing to pay more but then these things made it not worth it.
Good 6,0
Pros: Friendly staff. Centrally located to what I needed to do. It’s a close drive to downtown and Point Loma.
Cons: The cleanliness could have been better in my room. There was little pieces of trash on the floor. Due to COVID-19, I wipe down all surfaces so I noticed more dirt.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The facility was extremely nice
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Very convenient location across from the airport
Cons: This property nickel and dimes you for everything. Our quoted price jumped $40 once all the taxes and fees were added on, then upon checkin they wanted another $41 for self parking and the fee that really ticked me off was a “resort fee” of $31 they tried to add to the bill upon CHECK OUT. As an “oh by the way” after your stay. Um...NO! I felt like they kept digging deep in my pockets to get anything and everything out of me just to sleep on one of their beds for 6 hours before my flight in the morning. Definitely won’t be back for that reason alone
Good 6,8
Pros: I like the location and stay free activities.
Cons: Parking
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Good place for a major conference.
Good 7,4
Cons: What I didn't like ,they are charging and taking money for the simplest things which they are free at the other hotels, like you have to pay another 40 dollars for the parking and they said the Wi-Fi free but the actual thing it's 15 dollars to get the Wi-Fi, this is ridiculous , if I went to smile hotel close by, the Wi-Fi and the park for free, isn't it?
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Luxury facilities nice & super Coran
Cons: Al I Like ir...
Excellent 10,0
We just relax and enjoy the surroundings
Excellent 8,5
The hotel is close to the airport and close to the city center. You do not experience any inconveniences from them which makes this hotel great! There is a daily FOC shuttle to Sea Port village and from/ to the airport. The only thing that I did find a bit of a cheat was that there is a 26 USD daily resort charge. They did not mention that when I booked the room online and I online found out onsite. The onsite rental place is great and the staff is great and well knowledgeable . This hotel is a great place to stay with many options for dining & activities . Will definitely recommend to family and friends .
Good 6,2
Pros: Unbelievable view and setting.
Cons: The bed is a salad bowl. New mattresses needed badly. Woke up with neck and back aches trying to avoid the bowl. Terrible
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Totally catered to my every need
Cons: I felt severely over charged for my laundry. The gentleman at the front desk did t tell me there was a 50% up charge for overnight laundry. Just said they could easily do it and it was fast. I felt misled.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Easy to get to airport and back
Cons: A little overpriced for quality. Parking is expensive and breakfast should be included or offered at a better price
Good 6,0
Pros: Staff was polite
Cons: Understaffed with ling lines to check in and out. Key cards never seemed to work. Remote control in room was broken. And for some reason the cleaning staff liked to block my door to my room with their cart. Spent most of my time away from the hotel.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton. I stayed in the Bay Tower. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. My room had a great view of the bay and the balcony was large. The hotel is located closer to the airport, so you don't get a lot of street noise or foot traffic (which adds to the quiet/relaxed vibe of the hotel). The room was large/spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The room was very well decorated. The staff was very friendly and professional. Initially, I was placed in a room on the 2nd floor which is the lobby level, i.e. ground floor. When I got to the room, I didn't like the location, so I called guest services and requested a new room. They were more than accommodating, and moved me to a higher level.
Cons: The balcony furniture needs to be updated. I enjoyed the balcony, however, the furniture is cheap in comparison to everything else in the room. The resort fee seems unnecessary. I was charged a fee, but never told what was included with the fee. The price increases for higher floors (so my room change cost me more money per day). The rooms could be cleaner. As nice as the hotel was, the room needed to be dusted. There was dust everywhere (on the coffee maker, in the mini bar, on the lamps, and on the remote control). It appeared as if the room hadn't been used in a while.
Okay 5,4
Cons: Their were some perks my co-workers received without inquiring about and I was not even asked. My room was not ready until 6:15 pm then I asked for a late check out they gave me a hard time.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The balcony! The cleanliness! The comfort! Pet-friendly (Belle, our chihuahua, was happy to be with us)!
Cons: Everything was great!
Good 6,2
Pros: Location.
Cons: Waited 20 minutes to check in. Entirely too long.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Morning
Cons: It's dirty, cockroaches, staff was rude. Overall worst hotel experience ever. I will never come back again.
Good 6,0
Pros: Location is how this place makes its money. Very convienent
Cons: Not updated at all and the beds where cheap.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Close to airport and had a shuttle to the airport. Close to Gaslamp District, so we could take a cab for dinner.
Cons: Restaurants were closed down with the exception of one. The palm tree outside of our window blocked our view. The room you get through online is the old tower (hotel) and quite removed from everything else. Noise all night with partying people upstairs...went until 4:45 a.m. until we left for the airport.
Good 7,7
Cons: $90+/day in additional hidden fees. Not what I was expecting to pay when I booked.
Mediocre 3,4
Pros: The pool was nice.
Cons: The staff were horrible and rude, overpriced, no comfort.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Hotel was ok and we booked the bay view and didn't get that till the 2nd day.
Cons: Parking lot is small and too expensive
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: 3 times hotel staff entered my room with out knocking ! Saying they did not know it was booked! All my kids got sick because there was no heat, very unpleasant atmosphere in the first floor.
Okay 4,3
Pros: Parking is $30, which seems to be the norm in California! The deposit required on the room was about 80 dollars more than the actual room called cost me. The staff seemed rude when I decided to pay this in cash rather than the normal credit card. The next day at checkout they took about 20 to 30 minutes to "check" my room and make sure I didn't take a ten dollar candy bar. Then finally paid me my cash deposit back in small bills so I felt like I was going to a strip club. Not to mention this is next to a Navy Base with constant helicopter traffic. As a combat veteran on an anniversary date of a brother's death the helicopters reinforced some horrible memories. The one pool we found was in good shape. Everything is super expensive there and they really like to charge you for any fee they can. I would not go back nor recommend it to anyone. I actually left a night early and forfeited my paid night because I didn't want to be there.
Cons: Read above.
