The view of the harbor and easy access to it. Needs an upgrade. The bathroom was very small and some of the towels were pretty thin for a Hilton.

Pros (+) Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Awesome views of the San Diego skyline and the ships passing by. A peaceful stay away from the road noise in the heart of town.
Cons (-) A bit of a drive to the Gaslamp District and Old Town San Diego. Live music in the bar is rather loud, but the outside seating minimizes that.

Pros (+) This Hilton had a quiet peaceful atmosphere. You don't even know you are near the airport. It's location is gorgeous. It's right on the bay with a walking/jogging/biking path along the water. The rooms were very nice, new and clean! This is now pretty rare but the staff was friendly, helpful and truly wanted to us happy. I don't say this lightly. We loved our visit.

Pros (+) I had a good beer in the bar, and the bed was soft.
Cons (-) The shuttle driver was quite polite from there on besides the bed it was terrible customer service at the front desk, the pea soup green and brown color scheme made me want to get sick even before the over priced breakfast made my girlfriend and I after we paid for a breakfast that was terrible, sitting next to be 1 ounce and $4 dollar juice cup. I will probably never stay at a Hilton branded hote...
