Pros: The 2 doorman were fantastic!!!They are the perfect example of how to do customer service!! We mostly talked with David, on the day shift. He was very friendly, always helpful with suggestions where to eat or directions. The evening gentlemen used our names every time he saw us! That’s impressive because he sees a lot of people! Pool and hot tub were awesome. Location was great, quick walk to Gaslamp district. Great views of the bay!

Cons: I wish the rooms were a little bigger. There was not much space to put our suitcases for a King sized room. There was also a conference being held by the pool so it was difficult to get to the pool without interrupting the conference. - I also wish the room service food was better. The food we got was tasteless and lacked seasoning. - You have to pay to park and valet was $50 a night. You'd think for the amount of money you spend on the hotel valet would be free.

Cons: Being 6'9" in height the facility was a little small for me. Specifically the bathroom height. I understand this is not a fix management can make, but for me it is an inconvenience. Location of TVs in bedrooms are a little odd too, I would rather look up than down by my feet.

Pros:
Cons: I picked this hotel for the rooftop bar... summer hours still posted! Its not summer anymore.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was superior-friendly, warm and went out of their way to be helpful.
Cons: I did not feel secure using the exercise room. Downstairs, secluded and next to a work room or garage.

Pros: We had a problem with our room and the staff gave us a new room and free breakfast.
Cons: You could hear people in the room next store and they had very loud sex. We attempted to call the front desk and switch rooms and no one answered. I had to wait until the morning to speak with some one.

Pros: Spacious, great view and lounge upstairs.

Pros: The bathroom was big. I would’ve preferred a bigger room. The staff were all helpful, fun and polite.
Cons: Teeny room. Dirty wine glass! And the lighting for hair and makeup was awful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in the perfect central location, closed by to all the main attractions in San Diego. Staff very professional, always helpful and room was very clean and very modern bathroom.
Cons: Paying for parking. I wish parking was included in the hotel reservation. Overnight parking is $40 a day, which I feel is a lot of money.

Pros: Location in the Galamp quarter easy access off the freeway
Cons: I did not care for the set up of the room I was given. The TV was in an awkward location and the best view was from the bed. If you were sitting on the sofa you could not see it. Also the vanity was to small and outside of the bathroom.

Pros: Room was nice and clean
Cons: We had a young man walk into our room at 9am in the morning (even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door) without permission. He knocked multiple times, wanting to change the mattress in our room. The frustrating part is that the young man knew that check out was at 11am but he continued to be pushy to try and change our mattress. Also, there was an older fellow working the front desk at 10:40am on Monday 11/11 ( I did not get his name but please check the records). The guy had an attitude and this was a bad way to check out of our room.

Pros: The location was perfect! Also breakfast options were the beat we have ever had! Staff were always pleasant and helpful.

Pros: It was a place to stay, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel or ever stay there again.
Cons: Very noisy door slamming in the hallways at all hours of the day and night. Price gouging when you first check in where the hotel uses bait and switch tactics to get business and make extra money off their customers.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet food quality was good and fresh, while the staff are friendly are helpful. The rooms are a good size.
Cons: While the breakfast food was good the range was not very wide, so only three fresh fruits. Also, given the hotel size, the restaurant room was small meaning huge queues if you came late (one morning at 7.30 I had a 25 minute wait with a colleague to get seated).

Pros: location, view, service
Cons: Unbelievable noise. We were there for a scholarly conference of 10,000 people, and at the same time there was a music conference which blasted music outside to the point that we absolutely could not go to sleep at nights. There was nothing to be done about it, but I found it poor planning to have 10,000 guests for a scholarly conference and a simultaneous blasting music concert.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The check in was very accommodating. Had 3 consecutive reservations and she combined them into a single reservation. Even calling the other Hilton to cancel that (1) day reservation there. And make it consecutive with my other two.
Cons: Card key never worked with the self park. After having the key remade 5 times with assurances it would work, it never did. Maid service wasn't provided one day. The card key wouldn't open the door. The urban package was cumulative. Charged daily excess.

Cons: The mandatory resort/hotel fees at $35 a night along with $35 for self park or $50 valet were pretty ridiculous. There also are no microwaves in the rooms.

Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Got charged fees that were not explained at time of booking the hotel .

Pros: The place is clean, staff is helpful, breakfast is good, location quite strategic, all would be working nice together...
Cons: ...if there was a bit of peace during the night. I got used to passing ambulances and fire brigades, though it was not great. There is no air conditions so you have to make hard choice between fresh air or quieter room with closed windows. (BTW. this was November and there was some rain, I can't imagine summer months). But weekends and esp. Saturday was a nightmare. I used earplugs and earmuffs which were supposed to help at construction sites... well it didn't help me, as they cannot isolate the vibration coming from the extremely loud noise from the bar downstairs. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to anybody who plans to go the bed before 2AM. San Diego is a very expensive city, but what's the point of saving money at the cost of proper sleep?

Pros: nothing
Cons: very rundown place, pictures on booking.com looks nice but actually not kept up; ground floor is a bar restaurant that play music LOUD LOUD very LOUD till 2am (even with earplugs, no one can rest before 2am). wall is thin, hear noise next door and from street and outside.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was nice, staff very friendly. It was very nice that we had a microwave, fridge and coffee pot in our room..
Cons: Rooms could use a little refresh, Breakfast was ok. But not great, but better than nothing. Parking was very difficult, very limited otherwise you need to park on the street. Really not to much within walking distance as far as dining ect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff were so friendly and helpful with our check in, local knowledge and advice on things we planned to do. Room was roomy and clean. Coffee machine provided. Fridge available. Large local market, cafes, and restaurants just 8 minutes walk away. Easy walk to public transport.

Pros: Netflix. Location: 3 mins walk to Grocery outlet store, starbucks within 5 mins walk, 10-15mins walk to the Gaslamp MTR Trolley. But San Diego is quite well connected by train, trolley and busses so location is not quite an emphasis. Daily pass is USD6 + USD2 (for the card).

Pros:
Cons: Work men started drilling at 8am Sunday morning Worked till late Saturday evening Place was a shambles 1 joined Bathroom and toiled shared with 6+ coupled rooms

Pros:
Cons: - the building was under construction works and internally it looked like a bombarded place; workers started working at 7.30 am and were using noisy big machines and drilling the walls - unhygienic living conditions with dirty rooms full of dust and bad musty smell and stained bed sheets - Fireproof safety measures were inexistent

Cons: MISREPRESENTATION OF INFORMATION - Guest should have been notified before hand that the place is under renovation (drilling starts at 8am, so be ready to get up). No breakfast. No kitchen. Noise - it's like living on the streets, but with a wall and a bed. Everything can be heard clearly - voices, booming car noises, screaming bar leavers. Host did provide earbuds. Lighting - dingy Bed - one flat pillow and you can feel the springs on the bed. Toilet - extremely basic with no place to put your toiletries but the floor. doors open right to the toilet bowl. cracks in toilet wall (apparently because of place under renovation). Smell - the house smells like toilet on the first night. Room sink starts smelling funny when water runs down it. If you walk down the street for a few blocks, it just smells like urine everywhere.
