Loved the location! Right at the start of the Gaslamp Quarter! Trolly right outside the hotel. Staff went out of their way to ensure the best stay! The doorman and front desk always had suggestions/recommendations/directions to whatever your new adventures were for the day. I will definitely be staying here again.
The room upgrade provided, but not requested and the 2 free beverages, as well as having a great Mc Cormick ans Schnmicks restaurant on hand and good business center.
Very convenient to Convention Center. Great friendly staff.
Large homeless population in area but well policed. Hotel getting a bit dated and lobby furniture not very comfortable
The location was nice, being close to gaslamp was convenient for nights out. the bedding was always fresh and soft and the staff was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting areas. Excellent shower, and bathrobes
I wish the rooms were a little bigger. There was not much space to put our suitcases for a King sized room. There was also a conference being held by the pool so it was difficult to get to the pool without interrupting the conference. - I also wish the room service food was better. The food we got was tasteless and lacked seasoning. - You have to pay to park and valet was $50 a night. You'd think for the amount of money you spend on the hotel valet would be free.
The 2 doorman were fantastic!!!They are the perfect example of how to do customer service!! We mostly talked with David, on the day shift. He was very friendly, always helpful with suggestions where to eat or directions. The evening gentlemen used our names every time he saw us! That’s impressive because he sees a lot of people! Pool and hot tub were awesome. Location was great, quick walk to Gaslamp district. Great views of the bay!
Our room could have been cleaner. There was some dried old food on a knob on the nightstand, pretty gross! Lots of dust on shelves. Just expect more from a higher end hotel.
