Ended up paying $200+ because I booked here from the airport rental center and this app booked it 30 min away to one close to the damn border. I’d had to get a Uber for not only myself but for my 2 kids aw well. Ended up settling to just rent from the location the shuttle already took us to, just to find out it’s gonna be $350 more. Manager did to some adjusting to get it a lil lower. I was grateful for that. Also upgraded my vehicle for no cost. :)Reviewed Mar 25 2024

My experience with the local office was excellent. Jay and his staff were terrific to deal with. I just got home and noticed that I am over billed. I will call in a couple of days to customer service for a correction if the bill isn't corrected automatically.Reviewed Mar 14 2024

San Diego Budget rental agent provides excellence service. LOS ANGELES too except the shuttle bys driver not a vey pleasant experience . We requested to be drop off at the departure area @Tom Bradley Intl AIrport but she drop us off like a piece of luggage at the arrival and told us to walk. She's rude , we have to walk 1/2 a mile to find the departure. That's a bad customer service. I was going to hand her a tip but because she did not treat us with at least a standard customer satisfaction I told myself she doesn't deserve it.Reviewed Dec 18 2023

I booked the car with Kayak and they allowed me to book it at a rental location that closes at 5pm, when my flight arrived at 5pm. Therefore, I missed the pickup, and when I went to get it the next day the price was twice as much as the original.Reviewed Oct 5 2022

Horrible service/ experience. Why no one called when I was Uber to get my car they were all out. They didn’t even cancel my rental. I still had to do it even though they didn’t had the van. Please consider other car rentals.Reviewed Sep 24 2022

Rented a car with two patches in the tire. One let loose less than 40 miles down the highway. Luckily we were not in the desert driving when it happened. Roadside assistance sent us to a “more local” branch to swap out the vehicle and that branch had no clue we were coming. Total mess and I’m not stoked.Reviewed Sep 20 2022
