Pick up was chaotic, with no support. Trying to get a ahold of someone to extend my rental agreement was a nightmare, and then they would not extend, leaving my coworker stranded at the airport, and had to uber back to the office, an hour away ( on our dime, and our time). You would think a company would like to keep a paying customer in a car for a little while longer, instead of losing several customers due to the awful experience. I had to call 5 times. Left a message with no return call. Another call, was on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. Then a Supervisor (not sure what you are paying her to be a supervisor for) could not add notes to my reservation because in her words, she works in reservations and that's a customer service thing....soooooo, no customer service provided in reservations. Got it, and experience it! More to say, but wasted enough time with your company.
Staff friendly, don't understand my bill. Price higher than anticipated.
They didn't have the vehicle I reserved and I paid with a credit card, but they still charged me a $150 deposit.
Poor follow through on 2nd month and 3rd month of rental. Kept having to fix Budget errors in not renewing my lease until spending an hour waiting and then speaking on the phone to clear up Budget mistakes. Also overcharged by $100 on overall fee.
There was a very long line at the counter and I had to wait for 35 minutes for the vehicle to be ready. This was frustrating to all involved. The employees were very kind and patient and were working as fast as they could.
When I arrived just after 11pm to get my car, no one was manning the Avis/Budget desk at the Palm Springs airport. This despite their open hours being until midnight. I had to rideshare to my destination and return to the airport the next day to get my rental car. It took 90 minutes of waiting in line and at the desk for them to get me a car. They said they had run out of cars the night before. There was no communication about this nor was there any signage at the desk. A rep from another rental company told a couple of other parties and me that they had all gone home.
