Cons: No tea and coffee making facilities
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk staff was wonderful -- rooms were comfortable.
Cons: Horrible service in restaurant ( being a single female travel likely contributed to this); room was very poorly insulated re:noise. Heard everything all night.

7,0 Good
Pros: Location was fine. Building was clean and in a good area. Room was very space efficient. The housecleaning crew was great and went above and beyond when we were in a rush and left the room a mess.
Cons: The toilet could have been cleaned better from the previous resident of the room. Beyond that the breakfast buffet is a little overpriced, I would have purchased had the price been more agreeable. Beyond that it was a great experience.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: clean, nice interieur, good shower, kind staff, bag storage, bath robes and slippers in hotel, water boiler and nespresso in room
Cons: - not enough staff, we had to wait long to get our bags - leakage of water boiler in the room - no refilling of the coffee in room - expensive breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Its central location, the personnel very welcoming the comfort of the room and the quality of the bed
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was really perfect - Right by the church, we didn't really have to take public transport at all during our whole stay as grand place and many excellent restarts were all walkable. We had a 4 month old baby and it was our first trip together as a family so we were a bit anxious but the baby facilities were excellent and the staff really went out of their way to make our stay excellent. If I'm ever back in brussels - I would be crazy not to come back to this hotel!
Cons: Everything was perfect. Genuinely can't think of anything to complain about.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was awesome
Cons: Super slow Wi-Fi, even if you pay 10 euro/day for it, i would recommend to stay away from this hotel if you need normal internet during stay
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I traveled with my sister for new year. Although it was a busy period of course, the staff were very nice and friendly and hotel was well kept. Location was very convenient too.
4,0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: room was extremely cold

Pros: Excellent location, walking distance from train station and public transport also from historic sites. Beautiful lobby and rooms, friendly staff. Superb restaurant (we ordered room service and was awesome) Multilingual staff, spoke Spanish, very for us

Cons: Small room
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Shower
7,1 Good
Pros: The room was quite large and comfortable.
Cons: Parking even thou the hotel advertises for parking available at 35 EURO per day - there was no available parking when we arrived and had to leave our car on the main road and pay by the hour. Room - The foor in our room was not very clean , there was long blonde hair on the floor and on the large mirror by the door, and this was definitely not my as I am brunette. For a 5 star hotel you would expect your room to be spotless .
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely single room, clean, cosy and comfortable with great amenities and great location. Lovely quality soap and shampoo, vanity kit provided, robe and slippers all extremely comfy. Room was quiet and temperature was ideal, so I slept very well.
Cons: I was charged an extortionate amount for a bottle of water at the bar (3.50 EUR for a tiny bottle of water and 5 EUR for the bottled water in the minibar which I did not take as I could not justify 8.50 EUR for water, it was very late at night so no shops nearby), and they refused to serve tap water. No complimentary water in-room was surprising given the cost of the room. I had a very unpleasant experience with the bartender, when after I bought the tiny bottle of water (enough to half-fill a glass for me and my friend), I asked if he could fill up my glass from the tap which was right there. He was rude and condescending and made me feel rather uncomfortable as a paying guest. Bit of a shame
5,0 Okay
Pros: good location
Cons: overpriced, pretentious decor but non-functional (shower impossible to set to right temperature) weird room setup with staircase
4,3 Okay
Cons: Staff was not helpful, beds were old and not comfortable at all (had two rooms to try since the first one had brown water in the bathroom since it wasn't used for a long time).
7,3 Good
Pros: Hotel facilities detail has incorrect information. According to detail when I book room, Wifi is available with additional fee (6.95 per day). However not only wifi, internet connection (LAN) was need additional fee. If I've known LAN connection was not including room charge, I was not book this hotel. This is totally incorrect information.
Cons: Hotel must disclose not just wifi, even LAN connection require additional cost. If this was on hotel detail, I NEVER HAVE BOOKED THIS HOTEL.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Pool table Location Communal and bar area was lovely Basket of free fruit was a nice touch
Cons: Duvet wasn’t thick enough Winter garden wasn’t open during the weekend Bar service was slow - even though we were the only ones there
9,4 Excellent
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of three nights at the Stanhope. It was a convenient location for walking Brussels, and enhanced time there. The staff was great and accomodating of our needs. We loved our room which was spacious and nicely appointed.
Cons: The only semi-negative thing I can say, is that the bed was quite soft, which was not good for someone with a bad back like me. Also, we asked to have some food heated up, and they said that they would send someone to take care of this for us. They forgot, and we had to call a second time.

Cons: All was well.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with friendly staff
Cons: When we got into room it was so cold an also toiler sink was stocked. They came and fixed it immediately
10,0 Excellent
Pros: You don't even get the second foot in the door before you're greeted by friendly and welcoming staff waiting to attend to your every need. The breakfast (if you choose to have it included) is a fresh, healthy and great quality variety also with impeccable service and choices. The rooms are adequately sized and the beds and pillows are quite plush. There are slippers and robes for your added comfort and the tea selection in the room is great. The bathrooms are fully equipped and have a very modern and Chiq decor. Room service was a bit costly (as it is with most hotels) but this was because while the quality of the food was great and fresh, I really didn't enjoy the flavor. It is conveniently located between the trams and close to the Brussels midi station. Also, on Rue Louise there are all the major high end brands for clothing, jewelry, shoes and perfume, there are chocolatiers and other typically European magazines. Once you head out the revolving doors of Rue du Châtelain, and turn right, you will see that there are many cafés, bars, bistros, and magazines (shops) along the way. The cuisine is mainly, Italian, French and English, and there are Asian restaurants and a conveniently located liquor store to get your Belgian beer. There's also a food store further down. In the opposite direction, about a 30 min stroll away, there is the European Parliament, and the Grande Place that hosts many of the museums, a must see is the Music Museum, and a must have is the Belgian chips/fries and waffles. Hopefully this helps!
Cons: The dinner I ordered in room service was not a good taste for me.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is in the lovely area of Ixelles. We had an executive room which was pricey but spacious. The beds were large and really comfortable! We were there on New Year's Eve, but didn't want to be in the centre of things, so this was perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. The property overall was well-decorated and gave us that Christmas mood!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service, great staff. Me and my partner enjoyed the stay from the beginning when the friendly staff welcomed us. Location is a bit farm from the center, but easy to reach by tram and metro. Shops and restaurants are nearby. Will book again!
Cons: Room could enjoy a little update and some maintenance.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: This was a nice hotel. It is very clean and ok, but it is just outdated in terms of room decor, etc. Staff was very nice and helpful. not in the center.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel , rooms staff and location is excellent
Cons: The breakfast is not great value very expensive for what offered I went out to have a coffee in the bakery near by with more options of fresh bread and half price Anyway will stay again in the hotel as there is lot of restaurant and coffeeshops and facilities around

The Hotel Brussels - Brussels - Bedroom
8
8,8 Excellent (7 187 reviews)
R2 694+
Overview Reviews
Admire stunning views across the city from the tallest building in town 27 stories rising up 94 meters in the sky. A superb combination of city views and excellent accessibility.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, lots of parking space , comfortable bed , nice view , good restaurant - helpful friendly staff
Cons: The VIP facility is a shame - access cost extra but hardly any snacks worth mentioning, dirty tables , uncomfortable - - in the room the door of the toilet does not close so everybody in the room can share the sounds and smells - a mystery to me why ??
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Beautiful room. Complimentary drinks
6,5 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the temperature in the room is easily regulated, the room is well sound-proofed, so it is quiet at night. We had a corner room and the view is really nice. The light controls and the curtain controls are automated and can be manipulated with a push of a button. The location is great for shopping, walking to local attractions, and as a starting point to almost anywhere. I might or might not stay again - the negatives are not terrible, in the grand scheme of things.
Cons: The shower enclosure is not well designed and the water constantly goes over the lip of a very shallow shower pan - even if you try to stand up against the wall, only shower with the handheld shower, etc. So we couldn't enjoy the rainfall shower head which was huge and lovely because then you essentially have a lake in your bathroom. For the most part we had a soggy towel on the floor near the shower at all hours. Also the toilet is separated from the rest of the room with just glass so privacy or soundproofing there does not exist, and given that it is a European -sized room, if one of you is up to use the bathroom at night, it is impossible for the other to stay asleep as it is an echo chamber. The breakfast is severely overpriced for the options available and/or service provided - at least one of them needs to improve. Even though we travel a lot, still for a tourist from the US it is quite surprising - for 28 Euro per person I would want something more lavish in terms of food variety or much better service - waiters pouring your coffee or tea instead of you wresting with the automatic machines - something.

Sofitel Brussels Europe - Brussels - Building

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly all the time. Clement, at the reception desk, gave us really useful tips on where to go and what to visit in Brussels. Jimmy and all the catering staff were absolutely fantastic - always checking on us to see if we needed something else. Their hot chocolate is creamy and tasty. The breakfast is the best I've ever had in a hotel and it's worth every cent. :) Also, every night we found chamomile tea, Neuhaus chocolate and comfy slippers placed beside our bed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, great customer service, luxury toiletries, luxury room
Cons: Nothing..it was perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: it was an Excellent Hotel. clean, quite. good location, good sttaff.
Cons: NOTHING
9,2 Excellent
Pros: All good as usual.
Cons: I did not get my usual upgrade as a gold member of Accor.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Front desk employees were very polite, as well as the breakfast staff.
Cons: This is a 5 star hotel in the lower category. If you are used to 5 star hotels internationally (even Sofitel) you might get dissapointed. You miss just the extra bit of service and expect higher standards. In example: there is no minibar, front desk just hung up the phone when they appearantly thought the conv was finished, conciërge promised us to arrange a restaurant within 20min after arrival and after we pointed out to be in a hurry, we had been waiting at the entrance for more than half an hour, and after some irritation at the concierge when asking about it, we proposed to go to our appointment and give him some more time and ask to give us a call. 1,5 hr later still no call and eventually nothing could be arranged. Eventually we orderded room service. The food was not in line with the price. Some expensive steak was tasteless and not tender. Everything came with empty salt bucket, we immediately called and it took around 15min to bring and in the meantime we already finished. Room service guy didnt speak english, and we couldnt keep the mobile table for some reason. So one of us was eating at the desk and the other on the side of the bed. Then we brought the finished dishes outside the room, stayed in the hall way until next morning, even when other staff came to ask if we needed anything else. Finally the airconditioning in the room is not working properly, it remained too warm. After discussion with the hotel manager they sincerely tried to compensate for the inconvenience. The room service was not charged and they asked what else they could do to make us feel better. With all these things adding up it was already too much of a dissapointment. When we did the check out we received a gift with chocolates. Overall appreciated the way they have tried to make up for the bad experience. Neverthelles, appearantly service and quality levels among 5 star hotels, even at Sofitel, differ seriously. Lesson learned.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Upon my arrival, i was immediately greeted by the hotel staff. Check-in was fast and efficient thanks to the friendly Madame behind the counter. From my room, i had an excellent view onto Place Jourdan. I ordered from the room menu and delivery was quick (+- 20 min) and efficient. The hotel reception was stylishly decorated (it was a week before Christmas) and made me feel at home.

Pros: Great location and facilities, extremely polite and helpful staff, exceptional breakfast, a really nice experience in general.

7,0 Good
Pros: Location, well maintained condition of the property.
Cons: Check-in, drive-in is far away from 5* experience. Be prepared to drive-in, let your car somewhere in front of the hotel entrance and bring your luggage by yourself ;-) SPA & pool is adult-only. SPA doesn‘t belong to the hotel. Breakfast offer is far away from 5* experience. Very small offer and not tasty at all. After 6 pm no chance to get a cup tea somewhere - there is only one bar. No tea in the room. Be prepared you‘ll get someone from the staff knocking at your door at 10:30 am and asking if you‘ve already checked-out ;-))

Cons: thehotelratedoesnotincludetheaccesstothepoolandSPA
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Absolutely fabulous hotel. Definitely will come back again. Spacious room, very cosy and clean
5,4 Okay
Cons: The wifi in the hotel wouldn't connect with my phone. The hotel is located in a very fashionable district, but with limited dining options. Most importantly the hotel DOES NOT provide airport transport, this was the main reason I booked with them. Any hotel can call a taxi to take you to the airport (at your own cost) that should not qualify as airport transport.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good even it was not included in the room price in m-y case, but good quality and selection .
Cons: The hotel looks a little outdated and the carpets in all the areas probably need to be replaced

Pros: Location is good, close to good shopping. City Center is walkable but it's a bit of a hike. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. I didn't take advantage of breakfast but at 13 euros it looked like a very good value.
Cons: Despite paying for a room for 3, they provided no sheets for the pull out bed. Similarly, not enough towels and certainly not enough coffee in the morning! Room was too warm despite adjusting the A/C to the maximum setting. Strange sulfur smell coming from the bathroom.

Cons: Maid service. Even though I left the please make up room sign on the door at 7:30 am, when I returned 8 hours later, it still hadnt been touched.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The lobby looked ok.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff members were helpful. They upgraded my booking without a request and for free. They offered their breakfast also for free and I must say it's one of the best buffets I've ever been to. Not only the number of products is large, so is the quality of them.
Cons: Everything was outstanding. The only problem was a guy shouting in the street til 4am, which proved the window not being soundproofed. However, the police arrived and took him away.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff , location , room
Cons: Provetional staff in all section very helpful with smailing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, big, clean and well-equipped room. Breakfast is excellent (huge assortiment - even champagne, smoothies, tiramisu, carrot cake, pine nuts, etc. ) and with nice terrace and city view.
Cons: The room on photos from the website looks new and more interesting than it is in real room. But the room is still very nice and big. It was a bit cold in the room, but we received an additional heating unit.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Decent location, good rooms, friendly staff.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent!
Cons: There was a smell on the dirst floor on the way to the room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the room size. The hotel itself is very modern and up to bar with the America hotel standard. The fitness room is literally like an actual gym.
5,0 Okay
Pros: I do not believe this is a 4-star hotel. Misleading. Probably a 3-star hotel
Cons: 2 double beds put together and the sheets on one of the beds was not clean
4,0 Okay
Pros: We liked the location being close to tourist attractions. We also enjoyed very much the rooftop breakfast. Room was small but it was fine.
Cons: Our room was uncomfortably hot. It was mid-April. Front desk staff explained their air conditioning system had not been in summer setting yet. Hot air was blowing in the vent. When we opened the windows, it was so noisy with drunk people going home.

Pros: The staff were friendly & eager to provide advice regarding places to visit, things to do, etc. Room was very nice & very clean. Breakfast was wonderful & had something for everyone...a lot of variety. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Loved that it's close to airport, but it was a little difficult to get to even using gps.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located near Brussels airport. I stayed for one night waiting for my flight out of BRU. Overall it's a well-maintained property with spacious rooms and a very nice fitness center.
Cons: I stayed on a Saturday night. It turns out that the hotel restaurant is closed on weekends. I either had to go to downtown Brussels (a 30 min commute) or order room service. I opted for the latter, which wasn't bad at all but I would have preferred to eat at the restaurant. There is also no shuttle to the airport on weekends. If you are an airport hotel, you should provide shuttle to the airport 24/7.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast to go. The staff arranged early morning transport.
Cons: I liked everything.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: I had a salad for evening meal. This dish was of excellent quality/ taste, presentation, portion size. Served in a pleasant environment by very nice staff.
Cons: Wish there had been a courtesy bus for my time of flight early morning - had to pay a taxi which turned out to be quite pricey for the short distance.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is good and really close to the airport! There's a shuttle bus coming regularly with helps avoid the taxis. The Building itself is clean and spacious. The room I had a IHG members was really comfortable and the service was spot on, warm and very helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the portion generous. If you like to exercise, there's a SPA and gym... I haven't tried it but it looked alright. I had a great stay.
Cons: Depending on where your room is and being so close to the airport, you might hear the late planes taking off and sometimes some very loud neighbours. You might find as well that they put too many pillows on the bed and don't know what to do with them! As I like warmth, I found that the room was a little cold to me taste, but it is just personal. Keep in mind that the restaurant might be too expensive for some pockets.

Pros: the room was great. Lots of space and the bathroom was awesome.
Cons: Both times I ordered room service the staff forgot my drink. I had to wait for my wine and morning coffee. Plus when the staff dropped off my breakfast he didn't bother to take the dirty plates from the night before. He just pushed them aside

Cons: I can not say that there was any major point that has deceived me, but: 1) It was a little bit uncomfortable not to have a locker in the room. 2) The street outside may get quite noisy in the evening time ( though, doesn't disturb at night )
