Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
7,9 Good
Pros: Quaint. Nice waterfront property. Jason's restaurant nearby was a delight.
Cons: Non-working fireplace and television -- and no answer when an 'after-hours' number is called. Originally I thought the property was quaint although smaller than I expected. Then the fireplace and the television did not work. Since there is no office staff after 6 pm, I called the after hours number early in the evening but no one answered. Thank goodness there was no emergency! I had had a very long day and these disappointing non-functioning amenities made for an uncomfortable and less than satisfactory stay. The front desk staff did provide a minimal discount to compensate - but I'd recommend if you stay here be sure everything is working before the office closes.
6,7 Good
Cons: very thin wall that allow us to heard everything from your neighbor ...until 2AM.. room is front of the street
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The quirky fold away bed into the wall. The attention to detail was really nice, display aspects of towels etc.. lovely warm and toasty when I arrived. Jacuzzi in private bathtub was really nice to relax into. It was right on the Lake, well maintained property. Really was a pleasure staying here, shame I only booked one night!
Cons: Nothing at all!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hot tubs were awesome! Discount card saved us $ when going out to eat. Weren't able to use kayaks, boats, or pool but excited to come back in summer to do so. Cute towel elephant on bed & paper towel dragon decorative touches too. Well stocked kitchen & comfy bed. Definitely coming back! Especially for the view & private dock....AMAZING!
Cons: Resort fee's are always kind of annoying, but probably less in the summer when able to take advantage of more activities.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location. Private beach
Cons: Room next to busy road. No AC.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Open grill and nearby Safeway made it an easy BBQ night. Hot tub and pool near the beach is good as well.
Cons: Rooms and Management. After booking weeks in advance our desired room- a family suite with a lake facing view, we were notified a day before that we would be moved to a lesser room on the 2nd night of our 2 day stay because people had booked them years in advance. Placed a dent on next day plans because we had to move rooms on a 1hr window noon time. We were not attended to as promised when doing so, and any actions to make our stay better was minimal. The room provided was beside the highway which made it quite noisy and unbearable to sleep through in the morning. To top it off the people that were supposed to replace us in the first room never showed anyway. We checked. Very bad experience given expectations of a relaxing 2 day stay. Bad business model to be able to make available a room that is apparently already booked for the requested duration. Incompetent management to only notify us with short notice that we had no time to change plans.

Pros: Beautiful location, great size room and amenities. Loved the fireplace :)
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect and the room very comfortable
Cons: We were there to ski 1 day and have the timing all planned out. At first we were disappointed that the free breakfast didn't start until 8, but then we figured we would change things around a bit and we could still eat before we got to the ski resort by 9:00 am. It was an issue when it wasn't open at 8, even though I called the lobby the night before to confirm I had the time right. We waited until 8:15 and the office still wasn't open, and we didn't see any movement inside, so we let for the ski resort. Of course for me, it was no big deal, but my boyfriend (who needs to eat before any activity) was pissed and luckily I was able to keep it from being a big fight. Nothing worse on a get away than a pouty boyfriend lol.....
7,0 Good
Pros: Bed, pillows, sheets, location of site with regard to lake, kitchen was pretty well stocked with kitchen tools. Beach area was really nice and they have paddle boards, kayaks, water bikes. Strong wi-fi. Location to amenities is great. Staff was really, really nice--best asset.
Cons: Cheap shower head, cleanliness of bathroom, towels a bit worn, VERY hard to find in the dark (needs more lighting on entrance and sign,. Less "Christmas lights' and brick a' brack around entrance and pool area. Upper windows in room had security light shining right in it with any way to block out from inside room--hard to sleep with it shining in right on bed. Kitchen's upper window made it pretty unbearable to work in the sunlight it was so hot (could use some UV film). Highly suggest one-way reflective film on "lake view' corner windows so people can really enjoy the view without feeling they are in a fish bowl. Those fixes would REALLY up sell the property and make it a regular destination for repeat guests. Owners need to consider re-investing in the property--there's a lot of competition. These fixes aren't very expensive, but would go a LONG way for guest satisfaction. We want to want to come back.

Cons: Bed was not that comfortable. Amount of light from outside sources was formidable. Bring a sleeping mask!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perfectly located right on the water, with a beautiful and enticing private beach. The room where we stayed afforded the most delicious view and as we were on the top floor we had the luxury of tall ceilings. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, and we would have liked to stay longer. We will be back!
Cons: The décor in the lobby and breakfast area could use an update.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, super chilled place to stay. Girls at reception were so helpful, free use of kayaks, bikes and SUP boards. Nice quiet part of town.
Cons: Loved it all.
7,0 Good
Pros: Great location and fantastic price point.
Cons: Awful WiFi, which was a requirement to have for my job. Also, no water in the pool or hot tub. No views from my deck as promised, room was cleaned, but bathroom was skipped entirely. Despite this, I'd stay again with lower expectations.
1,0 Poor
Cons: No one on staff. Coffee maker didn’t work. No access to electrical outlets. $25 charge if you use dishes (4 glasses and 4 cups). Dog in room howling next door; no one on site to address. Flimsy bedside “end tables) couldn’t hold anything heavy (CPAP equipment.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very nice. If you prefer an upstair room rather than basement floor, it is more silent. We’ve reserved a 2nd floor room. The location is great. It is in North Lake Tahoe which has a great and beautiful nature.
Cons: The only con. is that it is expensive without a breakfast. We don’t prefer a breakfast at hotel but even it doesn’t include breakfast it is still expensive.

Pros: Rommie
Cons: Bait traps, mouse.

Cons: Hot tub was cold

Cons: No complaints.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Holiday House in Tahoe Vista, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Northstar California Resort and Agate Bay.
7,3 Good
Pros: Lakeside with view of Tahoe Lake from the balcony and the front room. Fantastic hostess/owner who also teaches (and rents) paddle boarding and wind surfing. Within walking distance of lakeside dining. Close to Incline and small casino. Full kitchenette makes it perfect for week long stays and extra pull down bed makes suite big enough for family trips. View on a moonlit night make the balcony alone perfect for the romantic getaway for my girlfriend's birthday. Can't say enough. Would go back for the view, location and the friendly smiling owner, even in inclement weather.
Cons: Could use some upgrades of furniture, but this is small compared to the view.
7,7 Good
Pros: The location and the view on the lake, not to forget the very friendly owner.
