Pros: I did not eat breakfast because the conference that I was attending provided so much food. I did eat in the Lobby Bar one evening, and the food was outstanding. The room was comfortable, quiet, and super clean. Probably the best house cleaning service I have experienced lately. The location was close to Starbucks and to the subway, which was very easy to take to the conference. I also used the fitness center which, although small, had everything that I needed. Plus all the staff speak English so there were no communications issues. Beautiful lobby!

Cons: I arrived during the central shutdown due to visiting foreign dignitaries for the 80th anniversary of WWII, and it was pretty creepy being in the middle of so many police. But everything about the hotel itself was wonderful once I finally got there.

Cons: Please note that these are only meant to be a constructive feedback for this SO NICE Hotel: 1. Poor Noise Isolation (Al. Jana Pawla is huge!), 2. The Room's Windows can NOT be opened, not even a small piece of them(need to get some fresh air in), 3. The "Heavenly Bed" wasn't so divine... It was quite harder than I wanted it to be, but then I am used to sleep on Talalay Latex Bed Mattress. Having said that, I strongly believe that the Hotel could REALLY benefit from having at least some Rooms with that kind of Mattress, and if that's too costly, Mattress' Toppers made of Latex or Memory Foam could be used, offering the benefit of an easy "on"/"off" solution, to fit the needs of all people staying at this SO NICE Hotel. Also, some better quality pillows would be a great option.

Cons: Everything was great until checkout. A 50% room deposit was taken at check out and 8 days later has still not been returned to my account despite an expensive phone call to Poland and several emails. The room was left immaculate so why the deposit has not been returned as repeatedly requested is simply not acceptable. This has now meant that we will no longer consider the Marriott hotel as a hotel group of choice. Sadly, it has somewhat ruined an otherwise great stay. Extremely dissapointing.

Cons: Receptionists, with an exception of one lady who did the check in, looked miserable and lacked manners. Breakfast on a Saturday 17th August was an utter chaos. No greeting, dirty tables, missing food from the buffet and the staff were in disarray. Only time things started looking better was when the supervisor/manager stepped in and showed what to do.

Pros: I got a late check-out as a present, because the room I asked for wasn't ready - that's a nice gesture.
Cons: There were construction works provided at the hotel, and no one warned us about it. It was quite loud and if I new that in advance - I would not choose this hotel. One bath robe in a room for 2, no shoes cleaning set, clothes brush was dirty with ex-guest hair, and cleaning stuff obviously missed it. I asked for a 1 big bed in a room which wasn't ready when we arrived; a lady offered us 2 single beds apartment or to wait at least an hour, both of which was not convenient.

Pros: I was on the 16th floor (out of 31) and had a great view of the Palace of Culture and Science. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The free WiFi was blisteringly fast! No problems at all streaming video. Breakfast was very good and the room was large enough to accommodate a large number of people at a time. Staff worked hard to clear tables. The location of this hotel was ideal - very central, close to the station for the train from the airport and close to the metro, trams and buses for getting anywhere else.

Cons: Missed minibar, we have had a problem with aircondition but I had to urgence twice the room with functional aircondition. Small choice of dishes, orientation to burgers only.

Pros: Everything is pretty standard in these hotels, we had already stayed before in an Ibis, so we knew what to expect. The important things are there: the beds are comfy, the shower works well with enough pressure and good temperature, ironing room, good sound isolation. Good location. And good A/C, which was important when there were 30 degrees outside.
Cons: I really dislike it when hotels ask for you to put the towels back in the hangers to signal you don't want them to be changed but they change them anyway. Also, they did not provide enough towels in the bathroom.

Cons: I missed having a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room. A fridge would have been nice too, but could manage without the fridge. Morning coffee in bed would have allowed this to feel a)like home, b)luxurious. Also - the bench seat was serviceable but there was no comfortable seating other than a desk chair in the room. Would have been nice to sit in an armchair of sorts.

also, manager "helped" me to find good hotel for same price and booked 1 night in Novotel for me but I need 2 (as 2 nights booked by me in Ibis) and he booked 1 only for the same price...is it trick to move me out from Ibis ?

Cons: There was no lift in the building and my mother I booked room for told me she was struggling to take her suitcase to 3rd floor back to the ground floor and a fragile receptionist helped her when moving into room. It would be much helpful if they would i stole lift in the building. Sure my mom wasn't the only traveller with big suitcase.
