Cons: Simply not worth the price. You can find other 5 star hotels for the exact same price and get much better value. The rooms design is uber simple and boring. Truly one of my least favourite 5 star hotels. Was never a fan of InterContinental, the Warsaw location truly convinced me to never stay with the chain. Over priced.

Cons: Facilities do not scale with the many travellers. Swimming pool was crowded until lunchtime, and was not able to eat at the restaurant because it was full. Not acceptable at this standing.

Walking distance from everything - metro station 3 min, Central train station 7 min, shopping mall Zlote Tarasy (just behind the trains station) and T-K-Maxx 10 min, the Royal Route (Nowy Swiat str) 15 min, and the Palace of Culture just in front of the hotel. The hotel is very clean, seems like has just finished a renovation, both from outside and inside. No signs of wear on carpets and walls, no smell, everything is shining. I cannot evaluate the facilities since I have not used them. The room service was very fast, the room was perfectly cleaned every day. The staff was very helpful and responsive. A convenience shop is 3 min walk from the hotel, which is also very useful.

Cons: First of all, when we have arrived from airport nobody met us with help with heavy luggage. Then, the shower in the bathroom was leaking all over bathroom and the socket in the bathroom wasn't functioning. The breakfast station for eggs was rude to customers and the eggs which you had to pick up came cold. This is not 5 star hotel level, not talking about how much higher should be service for Sofitel. Also the location not so central, had to order taxi to get somewhere, otherwise, too much walking

Pros: Everything else, location perfect, food was amazing out of this world, even though it was right by a main road nights can't be more quieter. Though the rooms were nice and comfortable, the wood touch in the rooms did not do it fair. What I most wanna point out is the amazing job the hotel did in helping me to set up the room So I could surprise my wife celebrating our wedding anniversary. Especially katarzyna, what a nice person.

Cons: Hard for two people to sleep on the same bed - every move was amplified. Luckily there was a sofa-bed in the room. No fridge in the room - strange, really. Nowhere to hang outer clothing - jackets ended up on the chair, which made it hard to use it, and the sofa was being used as a bed... It has three lifts but that doesn't seem enough as they're very very busy - hard to change that right now, though.

Pros: Amazing place! They have live piano concerts every day (they play classical music including Chopin). The hotel is great - you can rent bikes for free, they grow their own vegetables, they have a bee hive and you get a honey comb for breakfast, they recycle water, they do furniture restoration and decorate the rooms with it. Every room is different and the staff is very helpful. The location is also great - its next to one of the central streets where you can find lost of restaurants and bars. It was my second time there and I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Cons: Cleaning/maid service was a bit erratic - one day out of the week I stayed there seemed not to be any service at all, on another day several cleaning cloths were left behind in the room. Rest of the time seemed OK. The room was quite stuffy & hot when first checking in, windows clearly had not been opened for a while, there was not much ventilation so it was difficult to sleep. The neighbourhood can be a bit noisy at times due to pubs/bars along the same street and parking / refuse / recycling containers opposite the front of the hotel (room was at the front of the hotel looking onto the street).

Cons: We were on the 1st floor which was really the 1/2 floor. Our window was on a VERY NOISY street in which the delivery trucks to the grocery arrived each morning around 6:30 a.m. along with the garbage truck. The street was at the end of a main street and very busy. It was hot and we had to have our windows opened, I could almost shake the hand of the many people who hung out around the grocery store. I wonder if we got the worst possible room because we went through booking.com. I have used this service many times and don't expect the top qualuty rooms but they are usually very acceptable. I complained to the gal checking us out and her response was that it is a big city and what do I expect. i stated that I felt they don't put people in that room. Put them either higher up on that side or on a side away from the street.

Cons: WiFi did not work for my phone, a newer iPhone. Hair dryer was from the 1960’s and didn’t dry a thing. Furniture was very scuffed. Floor was not vacuumed. The Chopin concert was excellent, but they packed in so many people you could hardly get to a seat. The coffee machine didn’t work the first day. The breakfast is just fair. The elevator is just plain scary. The street is a bit sketchy and extremely noisy. The hotel is way too far from Old Town where we spent all our time.

Pros: The hotel was centrally located near the train station. Check in was easy and efficient. The staff were helpful and the rooms excellent with everything you need for a short stay. Shopping centres were close by and a 15 -20 min walk to the old town. Just be aware if you are in Poland on Sunday the shops do not open, only one weekend every month so check when you are travelling. Otherwise, perfect hotel with good variety at breakfast, good staff and easy to find. I wold recommend staying at this hotel.

Morning coffee in bed would have allowed this to feel a)like home, b)luxurious. Also - the bench seat was serviceable but there was no comfortable seating other than a desk chair in the room. Would have been nice to sit in an armchair of sorts.

Cons: Personnel respond with delay or don't respond to the emails. We asked about the possibility to use the fridge by email. At the check-in in the hotel, we were said that two of the existing fridges were broken. However, in 10 minutes we were given the fridge. No teapot in the room.

Cons: Environment is not good. But this is not hotel is guilty for this. I had a dinner at restaurant and I have to say that food is pricey and it's not so good as could expect. This may explain why it's so empty in evening.

The locker did not work at all, switch was not sturdy fitted to the wall. Too mich waiting-time had to elapsed to finally get warm water while taking a shower. In addidion water was running out of a shower battery for some quite time during shower taking Fortunately, nice lady from the reception has offered to me a substitutive room. This time some inventory stuff was missing with reference to the previous accomodation. Half-third of the bottom bathroom’s mirror had plenty of stains. Water in a bath was also dirty but after 5-10 min it sorted out itself Overall this hotel deserves for 1 * less. The whole personnel was brilliant
