Pros: We liked everything at the Pit Stop. Good, off street parking. Very good hosts. Excellent accommodation and very good Breakfast food. The Pit Stop deserves to be included in anyone's holiday itinerary. It is more than a B&B and it is of a very high standard. The American DIner is wonderful and don't let the self service breakfast put you off from staying here Melvyn and Sindy have everything you need in their diner to feed hungry guests. Not only do you get to stay in luxury accommodation for a reasonable cost you also get to look around the beautiful cars stored there. The Pit Stop B&B is near enough London and next to Standsted Airport. Car enthusiasts should make sure to stay here and even if you do not have a passion for cars, like my w

Pros: Due to a boiler failure we were in the Latchmead B&B main house.
Cons: At night spotting the unlit unmade access track off the main road was challenging, needing some luck.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a home from home
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Proximity to airport.
Cons: Does not include airport parking and is very misleading as it shows up on Google (see photos) as the hotel with the same name that does offer it. States free parking with no reservation necessary but unfortunately the host attempted to charge our card, unauthorised, an additional £20 for a service they claim they do not offer... This was declined and if further attempts are made, the bank has been instructed to report it as fraud... We could not contact host on check in or check out to clarify any misinformation but host acknowledged by text that others are confusing their accommodation for the Ash Barn Annex with parking at the same cost after we were out of the country. Shame, this could have been a good review if it wasn’t for the greed of some to charge for an honest misunderstanding which she even acknowledged!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Greeted by name on arrival. Rooms were excellent, warm, clean and comfortable. Top Pub a short walk away. excellent meal at very reasonable rates. Shower was very impressive. Breakfast the following morning was superb. Sat at a shared table with another fascinating guest, which for me makes a big difference, one of the downsides of travelling alone is the solitary meals... Huge choice of breakfasts was available served wonderfully by the very entertaining Paola. Will definitely be back if I am within 20 miles!
Cons: Pub could be nearer!

Cons: Fresh orange juice and sour dough toast would have been an improvement.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The bed and bed linen very comfortable. The staff were very helpful.
Cons: The room needed a thorough clean. The original de luxe double we were shown to was quite small and had a peculiar smell. The shower room needed a good clean. The second room we were given also needed a good clean and we did not like the bath in the room with curtains around for a shower. However, the saving grace was the super king size bed and the linen was good. As we were only staying for 3 nights we settled on the second room.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice products (Molton Brown) Comfy bed Exceptional NYE tasting menu (although eyewateringly expensive at £80pp and missing some of the more exotic items from the menu, crocodile was advertised, we got pork)
Cons: Had an early flight so missed the included breakfast. The hotel did make us a sandwich to collect in the morning but it was pretty poor given the quality of the included breakfasts available.

5,0 Okay
Pros: Elevators prompt and fast, attractive bar area
Cons: tiny soap in bathroom, only one very large towel for two people, bland furnishings, no working fridge. Customer service beforehand pathetic. I phoned to ask how to find the walkway to the hotel once I'd arrived in the terminal, but the person on the line seemed defeated by the question and even after asking colleagues for help was unable to tell me. Result was I had to find a route that took me 15 minutes and not the 2 to 3 minutes promised in your website. Not very friendly reception at checking in desk. I would never stay at this hotel again.

7,0 Good
Pros: Due to a boiler failure we were in the Latchmead B&B main house.

Pros: It is a quiet and peaceful location, with huge parking area. The room I stayed in is spacious, with nice view of the garden and surroundings. The host is very cheerful and gracious. Thank you for all the help bringing my heavy luggage upstairs and the very filling breakfast.
Cons: The bathroom does not have it’s own heater. Unfortunately, I did not realize it before I slept and kept the bathroom door closed. The towels were very cold in the morning.

Cons: Was not allowed to use the restaurant or bar as they had a private function on Saturday evening Was only told when I rang to see if I could book a table
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, helpful staff . Comfortable room. Easy dining area to eat alone.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: All was good a lovely room
Cons: No parking.
8,3 Excellent
7,9 Good
Pros: We were visiting friends so it was close to them- but lovely decor, our room (3) was amazing and the staff were very welcoming!
