Pros: Villa was incredible. Location excellent. Free boat trip.

Pros: Every thing is perfect.
Cons: Less opition for breakfast.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff Welcoming and go out of their way to help The taxi service was great
Cons: The buggy carts took a while to come to the villa when you asked for them. The villa private pool was not heated which meant you could not swim from may to october because the weather is cold but the main pool was heated

Pros: Ething
Cons: All good

Pros: Location Dealing of staff with my family The staff received me and my family with warm welcome They respond well and brought all our request from them in easy way
Cons: -
9,5 Excellent
Pros: - The reception and the staff was friendly. - The villa is spacious and nice with careful care for the details inside the villa. - Swimming pool view on the beach was nice. - I liked and enjoyed the activities in the resort. - The beaches are very nice actually the best beaches of Mauritius are located along its west cost. For Arabs ( يوجد شطاف ).
Cons: - The restaurant view was not as expected with plenty of trees covering the view of the beach. - The swimming pool and the garden are not cleaned daily unless u call the reception. - The privacy of the swimming pool was not as expected. - The candle light dinner was disappointing as there were no person to greet us when we arrived to the place although our arrival time is scheduled. We had it in the jetty which needs more maintenance. The other thing just stick the the candle light dinner regular menu and do not try the live grill as it is not worth the money and it is too much food that you might not be able to eat.

Pros: Facility
Cons: Food
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything in the property is amazing, from facilities to staff. Best thing was probably the spa, best in class in the world I would say. Amazing view, quite beach compared to the adjacent facilities with security in the beach making sure we are enjoying our time safely on the beach without intruders. Note that all beach for all neighboring resorts and public side along that beach are open on each other.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Cons: massage not good enough & expensive price
6,8 Good
Cons: The electricity was interrupted many times throughout the night where all appliances get restarted and give peeping sound which is very annoying to wake up to. The other issue faced was that all the water in the villa was super hot. we talked to the management, however, it took them more than a day to fix the issue and bring plumber team. Not worth the money you spend and they are plenty of real 5-start hotel in the area. management was very poor in reacting to these issues and ruined part of our vacation!!

Pros: - serene sceneries! clean beach, green areas, good pool and night stars with min light pollution - friendly staff and welcome
Cons: - check in was late at 3pm. to be fair this is mentioned on the booking, but as a guest experience, you lose sun time by starting your day late at 4pm let alone waiting for check in after a long flight. - AC was too noisy in my room - location is not a walking distance to flic en flac market
9,3 Excellent
Pros: - The view from the room was amazing. - The decoration was amazing. - The staff were amazing and trying to help at all times. - The tours desk was great gave us a lot of info. - The room was great.
Cons: - The wifi in the room was really bad like you will be lucky to have a signal that will last for 5min and it was super slow. There was a good signal at the balcony. - The hotel is a 5min drive from any shops so every time you need to go out you had to take a taxi. - Hotel taxi prices are more expensive than other taxis although same type of cars with same service. For example one way airport ride with hotel taxi is 2200 rupees while other taxis will be 1400 to 1000 Rupees. - Hotel taxi keep on pressuring us to take them both ways from and to the hotel. Sometimes when we booked one way they end up waiting for us at the park exit to take us back to the hotel although we were planning to take other cheaper taxi back to the hotel. - There was not much of food variety for breakfast and dinner buffet. Only small amount of choices. - After I paid everything to the hotel and checked out, the hotel blocked 6000 Rupees on my credit cards. I emailed them the next day and they un blocked it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect - from the beachfront location, to the amazing staff who couldn't do enough for you. The food and drinks were also excellent - breakfast on my balcony looking out to sea was the perfect antidote to jet lag. An added bonus was the beautiful sunset. They made my 24 hours to myself before a work event extra special, I would most definitely recommend to anyone travelling alone and I would definitely come back again!
6,3 Good
Pros: Some of the staff, especially the managers were great and very accommodating. Beach was nice and so were the food and staff at the beach restaurant.
Cons: • a lot of the staff were quite rude and when serving you it’s like they’re doing you a favor! • checked in on a Friday afternoon and given it’s a resort you would to have a few choices to eat - to our dismay we are told that 2 out of the 4 restaurants are closed! •rooms are outdated •air conditioning in our room was very bad, when asked to get it fixed they told us that that’s just how it is and they can offer us a fan! • when housekeeping knocks on your door, if you don’t open in 10seconds they just open up your room! • they don’t bother doing turn down! So the next morning when we ask for some water, no one bothered to bring it to us despite numerous calls to reception. We decided to call room service and the minute we were ready to pay, the water came in 10mins. An hour later we got some complimentary water
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Resort Staff were friendly & helpful. Internet coverage was somewhat weak in the rooms. The pool was clean and quite big! Breakfast was okay with various food and fresh sweet tropical fruits and juices. Gym location was excellent!
Cons: Our bed mattress was somehow not comfortable... maybe requires replacement!
7,4 Good
Pros: Fantastic pool area and right on the beach front, both the pool and beach has a number of sun loungers with cushions which is lovely. Also scattered around the beautiful gardens are a number of four poster beds that you can lay on and watch the sun go down. The buffet restaurant has a large selection of food that should cater for everybody’s needs, you can also use the spa pool and sauna with no extra charge. You just need to visit the spa to pre book. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable exactly what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
Cons: The hotel is beautiful and its a shame that the staff let it down so badly, they are useless. If you order a coffee for breakfast you might have to remind them a few times before it actually arrives. The new sentence learnt whilst staying at the Sofitel is “no it’s not possible” They sell it as 5 restaurants. However 1 is a beach bar so it’s more of a lunchtime place to eat not the evening. The remaining 4 comprises of a Buffett (open every day) and Chinese and Japanese (open every other day) plus an a la carte restaurant with approx £80pp supplement. So if you like it or not you will be dining in the buffet restaurant for half you’re holiday. Veginterians or anybody with special dieterty requests be aware. Even though there is a leaflet in the room saying to contact the restaurant manager for an special requests the answers we got was “it’s not possible” that’s the Japanese and al a carte out as they have no veggie options. The Chinese restaurant has 3 options all priced around £15 but when you have paid £100 HB supplement per person per night its not really value for money. The sunloungers are great, but there seemed to be a reserve culture going on. As beds seemed to get reserved with a book or a towel from the night before and the hotel staff did nothing about this. All in all it’s a beautiful hotel. Would I go back. No. So I guess that says it all.
3,8 Mediocre
Cons: The bed sheet and towels were all not clean.. the breakfast was limited .. the most of staff was not smiled when serving the drinks ..
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The service from the staff from the moment we entered the Sofitel was great
Cons: The rooms were a little aged and you could tell when you looked at the finer details (although the rooms were kept very clean and well maintained)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: View , beach , staff all time smiles.
Cons: Far from activity
9,3 Excellent
Pros: way better than the photos. Nice big rooms, easy to reach the facilities. We walked along Flic en Flac. Between 4 hotel in the same line, Sofitel seeeds to have more appealing architecture, beach furniture and pool. Breakfast was with many options. Bar and singer was great at night. Nice hospitality and great holiday for us! Thank you!
Cons: It was not the best season, so unfortunately we could not do any snorkeling etc. It was windy and cold. But nothing related to the hotel. It had better go there in Maritius summer. Still, west coast is way better than south and east.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The spaciousness, facilities, relaxation and views
Cons: N/a

Pros: The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the ocean through the palm trees. The loungers were comfortable. The pool towels were a good size. There were 3 different happy hours.
Cons: The evening buffet was very expensive. The other restaurants had a nice range of food. The food however was not always great. For example my burger which I ordered via room service was seared and raw. I asked for medium rare. The breaded calamari had no flavour. Just lacked consistency and being in a resort I have an expectation of excellence.

Pros: We had an absolutely amazing week in Mauritius. The staff at the Hilton Flic-en-Flac are absolutely incredible ! The Hilton may not be as fancy as some of its newer neighbors along Flic-en-Flac beach - but it has incredible soul and personality ....and it is all down to the wonderful staff. Everyone at the hotel ; reception staff, waiters and barmen, housekeeping, guest relations, the guys at the boathouse and even maintenance and gardeners - were incredibly friendly and constantly looking to make your stay more enjoyable. We genuinely felt like A-list celebrities for the week , we were looked after so well ! Visham at reception made a big fuss over my birthday on the day we arrived and gifted us a voucher for complimentary canapés & cocktails. Deepak at the concierge desk went out of his way to arrange a wonderful excursion swimming with dolphins. Joseph our waiter one day at breakfast arranged for us to have a private table on the jetty over the water for our breakfast the next day .... just because my wife mentioned how beautiful the view was across the water in the early morning light ! We didn't even have to walk to the buffet as another wonderful waiter (Kapeel) brought our breakfast selection down to our private 'jetty' table and looked after our every need. A memorable experience and a great example of how fabulous the staff are at the Hilton. The staff also do a wonderful torch-lighting ceremony every evening , which gives a beautiful atmosphere to the tropical gardens. All of the facilities at the hotel are also top notch - we loved the gym, the adult pool and the spa..... and of course the beach is beautiful ! The food at 'Les Coquillage' restaurant and the thai restaurant 'Ginger' was excellent - we particularly loved the 'Lobster night' at Les Coquillage .... spectacular french cuisine !! Our ground floor room was beautiful and immaculately cleaned every day - with delightful views out to the gardens and the...
Cons: All of the rooms are non-smoking - but unfortunately some of our neighbors were smoking in their room and you could actually smell the smoke through the AC vents ..... worse again they were tossing their cigarette butts out into the beautiful gardens instead of using the ashtray on their balcony !!! Some people are just disgusting and ignorant ! We did report it to reception - but unfortunately because the staff are so friendly and accommodating they were ignored ..... and the disgusting smokers continued littering the gardens until they checked out.

Pros: It's not a Big Hotel, but the level of Services and staff is Ammmmmmazing
Cons: Bathroom could have had Air freshener...like they were clean n fine but could be better if there is Air Freshener
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The area where it's located, I didn't want a hotel to close to the beachfront. The shuttle bus idea was a fantastic one, the poolside area was well suited as well as the sauna and jacuzzi. The room was kept clean daily and fresh towels given, the breakfast was good for the selection you get. The staff was the winner here, I've stayed in hotels in previous times I've been in Mauritius. They really treat you like a part of their family, Roshan, Jema, Dev and Anidah were all perfect hosts. I will book again next time go to Mauritius, and would certainly reccomend this little gem to all my friends and family.
Cons: The only bad comment that I would mention is the same on TripAdvisor, the fruit that is on display at breakfast every morning. It should be fresh every morning, and not be the same collection the next morning. That's all.

Pros: Really great staff and brilliant experience. Would recommend doing the dolphin day tour through them - great experience at a very competitive price.

Pros: They greeted us very well, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms were great, the staff were very kind and helpful, We all enjoyed our experience
9,3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the new part of the hotel and that was very nice. Breakfastbuffet was good and complete with a choice of fresh fruit, partly peeled. Two pools were nice. Fridge in the room. Very good beds. Balcony with seaview. Friendly staff. . Best is the free shuttle all day to the beach or to the shoppingmall where the main bus station is, this compensated for the location of the accommodation.
Cons: At breakfast they very strict with the menu for the eggs. Some days only scrambled eggs, other day only fried eggs.. If you don't like scrambled egg, it was not possible to get a fried egg... (only when the restaurant was empty, the manager order the chef to cook a fried egg for us.... The chef cook every day fried eggs for the staff) .. Room not spacious.

Pros: The breakfast very good and ws a Little bit different each day. Very good. The location was a bit far from the beach but very calm which i thought was very good and the shuttle worked perfekt each day which was appreciated.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was up tp my expectations.

Pros: the reception is really cozy and family style. feel at home at such a place. they even offered welcome drink, which i didn't expect! Pros: The staff are extremely helpful and polite, breakfast is pretty good, room was very spacious, comfy bed, microwave and WiFi works perfectly.
Cons: The room we got was a bit old (family room). I believe is time to renovate it. Plus, the lighting seriously needs an improvement. It's very dark inside it.

Pros: The location is SUPERB! Staff were lovely and the tours arranged through the operator on the premises were EXCELLENT!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really friendly, because of a booking error we had to stay at a different room for the first night.as a compensation they offered us a free dinner at the beach and a update to a superior room for the 7 following nights. so our room was directly at the beach (less than two meters) in my opinion more than generous! the rooms are lovely and the breakfast was great as well. only one of our beds was sagging in the middle and on a few occassions we had only cold water. But the beach, the staff and the overall experience was just awesome!!

Pros: Wonderful seaview & nice beach

Pros: I liked the hotel. I loved the room and the patio.
Cons: the fountain, which was lovely! but was very noisy at night and I couldn't find where to switch it off!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in Flic en flac, right next door to shops, pharmacy and supermarket. We also loved the fact that there were so many restaurants in a walking distance so every night we could try something new. The hotel itself is okay, the staff were nice. nice little gym on the second floor.
Cons: The hotel doesn't offer airport transfers thus we had to really negotiate prices with taxi drivers some of which were really expensive. We also had issues with payments at the hotel because their actual prices turned out much higher than the booking. com amount we had anticipated. Fortunately we had printed copy of our booking confirmation which clearly indicated the price.
6,3 Good
Pros: good location, friendly staff, very nice pool.
Cons: The breakfeast and diner was not great, my room had view on a building in construction, there was a leak in the shower, the t.v. remote hardly worked, part of the aircon grid was removed. Some dead insects did remain in the room for 2 days without being cleaned out...I had to ask for it.
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel is within close walking distance to the beach, local supermarket and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. One felt safe all the time, the breakfast and meals area is very peaceful. The water pressure in the hotel is great which makes taking a shower a pleasure. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The pool is small and does not do justice to the view. The lighting in the room could be improved, making reading at night difficult.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room I got at first was really beautiful and would even qualify it as a 4 star room. It had a very beautiful balcony, beautiful ceilings. I got another room after which was still good as well. The smell in the hotel was always good, never used the swimming pool so didn't care, the beach was very close few meters away and the location I find it perfect as all you needed was in the near (Supermarket, exchange office, hairdresser...). The food and breakfast was very good as well and the servers were very nice. I even appreciated the talk with them. They made sure it was a comfortable stay during breakfast or dinner.
Cons: The staff at the reception should try to be more friendly, sympathetic, welcoming and smile more. some towels were quite old and used and should be considered for change.

5,5 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The shower dint have any hot water. Room service and response time was terrible
6,8 Good
Pros: The smiling staff, the location, the beach and the games amenities
Cons: The rooms are very badly maintained with the furniture being very old, the basin being unoperational even after three reminders to fix it, electricity was cut a few times a night. Breakfast is the same every single day We requested late check out a few times, they wanted to charge for a single hour granted, when we said we dont wanna paý, they said they have no rooms and the hotel was full, eventhough it was clearly not so full. Overall an even 5/10 experience
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The views from my room was awesome. Hotel is on the beach on the west side of island so sunsets are gorgeous. Bathroom was spacious as was the room. It was cleaned daily and there were no issues. The hotel is across the street from souvenir shops that had good sales. Breakfast and the breakfast room were good the view was sweet! Very easy to get a taxi to move around.
Cons: The airport shuttle was a bit pricey. Room service was difficult to get on one night.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: breakfast, nice beach in front of the hotel
Cons: It seems that the hotel is trying to make money out of everything. It is extremely overpriced for its value and I wouldn’t call it a luxury resort. The airport transfer they offer is twice the price of a normal taxi, they charge 50 eur for later checkout and 50 eur for the beach towels. Not to mention the food, which was 2,3 times more expensive that any traditional and delicious restaurant in flic en flac...The room had a weird smell and it was very noisy at night as it was facing the pool (as most rooms are) and they had shows and karaoke every day. Not a nice feature for those who want to sleep early.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facility in general, the food, the breakfast
Cons: The WiFi was rather low in the rooms
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, rooms were right by the beach and it was relaxing listening to the waves crashing with the balcony door open. Great location - right in the middle of the island so you can drive around and make the most of your time on the island. Great restaurants nearby and staff were pleasant and quick to respond.
Cons: The beach was filled with sea urchins unfortunately so swimming was difficult. A little further down the road (closer to the police station, which is a 2minute drive) they clear the sea so go swimming there.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist were great, also the supervisor was really nice and the manager came to welcome us also. Its was also my partner's birthday the next day and they surprised her with a cake at dinner
Cons: Everything was in place
7,0 Good
Cons: All was well until wanted to arrange transport to airport, they confirmed the price after which they said actually is 500ruppees extra as the hotel arranged the cab. So this extra goes into the hotels pocket, i think this is against principles. Not sure what gives them the right to charge us extra, just because we are tourists does not mean you can take more advantage of us. Shameful so if you need taxi, there are plenty that will take you for the right fair price.
