Pros: Breakfast was fine. The restaurant in the hotel was spectacular. We had lunch there and enjoyed it so much we returned for dinner. Service was superb and the food fantastic. Location couldn't be better. Close to High Street and the Tudor House. And--it is air conditioned. Very important to American travellers. Few UK hotels are air conditioned. This unit was wonderful. It was uncommonly warm in Southampton.

The lack of a pot of tea or coffee was disappointing as the machine turned out a low quality product. The room was OK but looked a little tired, the sea-view was there but took some finding. Overall, the Hotel was adequate considering the proximity to the Boat Show and close to an interesting part of old Southampton

Pros: breakfast was self-service and a little disappointing in the range of food offered. Some dishes had run out and others were limited in choice. The lack of a pot of tea or coffee was disappointing as the machine turned out a low quality product. The room was OK but looked a little tired, the sea-view was there but took some finding. Overall, the Hotel was adequate considering the proximity to the Boat Show and close to an interesting part of old Southampton

Area ok but as the place was not manned, felt a little insecure especially as I was with my young daughter. Parking was available but charged which I was not expecting from what I thought I had read.

➕ Very pleasant clean and friendly hotel/restaurant. Food was great (too big portions in my view) menu was excellent choices and excellent prices, room 1 was exactly what we were looking for , room clean, beds very comfy,, shower hot, very accommodating and a kid friendly atmosphere, made to feel welcome even with my child. Thank you for a pleasant stay :).
