Pros: Perfect location with a lovely breakfast and cute pub attached. A good Indian food restaurant on premises. Staff is helpful and friendly. Perfect place to base for the Cotswolds Walk and venturing into other villages.
Cons: The room gets chilly during the day. Heat gets turned on at 3:15 pm, it’s fine after that. If you ask the staff, they will boost the heat for you before 3:15, but it takes awhile to warm up.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything needed for a comfortable sray is right here
Cons: Long menu many months staying would be needed to try all the dishes
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was great and parking easy to find. The English breakfast was ok and filled its purpose. The room was just spacious.
Cons: The room was very basic for 100/night (booked 4 months in advance). 1°C degree outside and the main heating in the room did not function(only the toilet heating worked). Arrive late at 23:00 and the room was frozen cold. Reception is actually a pub and is loud at night .
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly. The food was very nice. The room and facilities were adequate for our 1 night stay. We would use the pub again for a short stay in the beautiful Chipping Campden.
Cons: The pub noise was a little loud but it was a Saturday night! Fortunately our room was to the back of the pub so the noise wasn't an issue.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The warmth / heating.
Cons: Not having a private bathroom.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice room, clean and tidy. The bathroom was a shared one, but I was the only guest using it. The bathroom was also clean, good shower and spacious.
Cons: It was a very busy night in the pub, so I had to wait for a while before I could be taken up my room. It was not a problem at all for me, but that is the only "negative" I could think of.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious, great location, very good breakfast. Very friendly staff. No complaints. Very impressed.
Cons: Nothing!
7,9 Good
Pros: Very comfortable and clean room with excellent power shower. Decent value for what was a quick overnight stay after a wedding party. The pub bar was lively and welcoming.
Cons: Slightly quirky, it's a pub with rooms, service at breakfast was a bit surly and the it's only a short serving window (8am to 9.30am) and served in the adjoining Indian restaurant.
