Cons: They overcharge the kayak rate. First they say they dont find the reservation and finally after check out they charge me the tax two time. It takes me 45 minutes to explain the rate i got by internet and get the money back.
Staff is not prepare to do it fast and they dont care about my time.

Cons: The water temperature of the shower was not constant and kept on going from ice cold to super hot. Water pressure was rather low as well. It always took a while for the hot water to come out at the sink. Breakfast was ok but would have been better if there were more vegetables (i.e. - tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers for a morning salad).

The room was large and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The only thing I disliked was the first room they put me in. It was low with a terrible view and a CRT television. When I asked, they changed to a great room. To be fair, I got there early so better rooms were not available and they let me use the room until a better one was available.

- Breakfast is abundant, and with impressive variety, but IMO it could improve in quality. It is served by a restaurant that is not part of the hotel, so the staff is separate and not as good as the hotel staff.

Pros: The Hotel Atton de Bosque is in the financial district of Santiago with the advantage of being a short walk away from the Tobalaba metro station. The neighborhood of Las Condes felt safe after dark, and contained a variety of restaurants within walking distance, although we spent many evenings in other districts.
We had no trouble using this location to be picked up for a number of guided tours, and found the staff friendly and helpful, despite our limited Spanish. As well, we enjoyed the breakfast offerings and ambiance of the bar area. We were also glad of the fast in-room wifi, along with the printer and computers in the guest office space.

It is across the street from a pretty park, near great restaurants (all price ranges), banks, 1/2 mile from the largest mall in Santiago. The buffet breakfast offers everything and is in a lovely large restaurant with a large outdoor patio. The swimming pool is small but the view is spectacular and the cabana area is nice. The hotel staff is friendly, professional and the service we received was great.

Pros: The W-Hotel is the first hotel of this chain in S.America and it is obvious that they want to make a statement of design and comfort. There are more than plenty staff everywhere that assist you . Also when you arrive by taxi they check if you were not being over charged. The design of the lobby met 3 restaurants is spectacular. The pool with lounge bar on 21st floor is small but spectacular.

Cons: The elevator system is confusing. To get from the entrance to the reception and restaurant floor is one elevator bank. To get to your room is a different elevator bank. To get to the pool area is another elevator bank. The pool area has a cocktail bar area which is a bit of a young party scene. Need more hooks in the bathroom.

Room was not cleaned one day because do not disturb sign was at the door until 9:45am, after that the sign was removed and upon returning to the hotel 8 hours later room was still untouched. Rooms are very old fashioned and could use some renovation. Bathtube was peeling off (room 314) and toilet had some dark stain inside that looked like dirt (though it was not, it was disgusting to see). There are many other better hotels in Santiago for that rate.
